La Relevancia de la Vieja Derecha

¿Cuál es la relevancia de lo que llamo Vieja Derecha –Nacional Socialismo Alemán, Fascismo Italiano, y los movimientos nacional-populistas del período entreguerras- para el Nacionalismo Blanco hoy en día? La pregunta no se plantearía, por supuesto, si no hubiera conexión alguna. Muchas ideas Nacionalistas Blancas son descendientes directos o primos de las ideologías de la Vieja Derecha, esto quiere decir que comparten los mismos ancestros, y que son ramas del mismo árbol ideológico. 

Esto es lo que tomo de la Vieja Derecha:

  1. El Nacionalismo sobre la globalización: la Vieja Derecha pone la preservación y el florecimiento de pueblos históricamente existentes por sobre los imperativos de las ideologías universales como el liberalismo y el comunismo y las tendencias homogeneizantes de las instituciones globalizadoras como el mercado.
  2. El bien común sobre la libertad individual: la Vieja Derecha pone la salud del cuerpo político por sobre la libertad individual y la auto-expresión. Uno puede valorar la libertad, la vida privada, y la individualidad, también las iniciativas privadas, pero sólo cuando promuevan una sociedad saludable.
  3. La biología es central a la política: el liberalismo individualista simplemente ignora las tendencias demográficas o disgénicas que establece, porque preocuparse por tales cosas es “colectivismo”. La Vieja Derecha vio que la salud del cuerpo político tiene todo que ver con las tendencias demográficas a largo plazo, y tomó la responsabilidad de promover tendencias positivas en lugar de negativas. Entonces la Vieja Derecha promovió fuertes lazos familiares, un crecimiento poblacional saludable, y una procreación a través de la eugenesia en lugar de la disgenesia.
  4. La blanquedad es una condición necesaria de la identidad europea: Hay más que ser francés o alemán que ser blanco, pero los no-blancos no pueden ser franceses, alemanes o miembros de cualquier otro pueblo europeo. Entonces no podemos preservar las naciones europeas sin preservar la pureza racial.
  5. Entonces, no hay conexión necesaria entre el Nacionalismo Blanco moderno y la Vieja Derecha. Y la respuesta adecuada a aquellos que desean simplemente desechar al Nacionalismo Blanco al enlazarlo con los nazis o fascistas: no necesariamente.

Por ejemplo, en mi propia biografía intelectual, llegué a los tres principios a través del estudio de la filosofía política clásica. Llegué al racismo biológico y la noción de la cuestión judía a través de la observación, conversación con amigos, y la lectura de libros como The Bell Curve y The Culture of Critique. Y fue sólo en base a esos acontecimientos que pude ver la verdad y el valor de la Vieja Derecha. Por ejemplo, antes de leer The Culture of Critique, vi al antisemitismo como una seria falla en el Nacional Socialismo, el cual consideré como altamente atractivo, tanto estéticamente como filosofía-política.

Por supuesto, esto no implique que no aprendí de la Vieja Derecha –que ya lo conocía todo. Primero, la Vieja Derecha tenía sentido dentro de mi cosmovisión. Entonces, agregó a mi cosmovisión. Pero nunca se volvió mi cosmovisión. Y la misma cosmovisión me permitió una distancia crítica también.

Difiero de la Vieja Derecha en lo siguiente:

  1. Soy un “nacionalista universal”, esto quiere decir que creo que el etnonacionalismo es bueno para todos los pueblos. Entonces me opongo al imperialismo, mientras que la Vieja Derecha practicaba el imperialismo contra los otros europeos como también contra los no-blancos. Defender el imperialismo es básicamente decirles a tus vecinos que no estás por sobre un poco de robo y asesinato cuando te parece bien. Pero esa no es forma de construir solidaridad entre las naciones blancas o un planeta pacífico en general, en tanto que eso es posible.
  2. Debido a que el Nacionalismo Blanco hoy en día se preocupa por el bienestar de nuestra raza, tanto a nivel total como en sus partes, no tiene sentido identificar al Nacionalismo Blanco con algún régimen de la Vieja Derecha en particular, debido a que esos regímenes perseguían sus intereses nacionales particulares a expensas de otros pueblos europeos. Por ejemplo, identificar al Nacionalismo Blanco con el Nacional Socialismo Alemán es una tarea derrotista cuando se lidia con polacos o ucranianos, más allá del hecho de que una pequeña minoría de estas naciones son lo suficientemente abiertos para compartir tales actitudes, o al menos, tolerarlas.
  3. La Vieja Derecha nació en su lucha contra el Bolchevismo y adoptó el modelo organizacional y las tácticas de este para vencerlo, es decir, un partido paramilitar y el estado totalitario, incluyendo terrorismo y asesinato en masa como herramientas políticas. Imitar tales políticas hoy en día, de cualquier forma, es inefectivo (por no hablar de las consideraciones morales). La hegemonía de postguerra de la Izquierda no fue establecida por medios bolcheviques sino a través de subversión cultural e institucional. Entonces, la Nueva Derecha debe combatirlos a través de una renovación cultural e institucional. Esta es la base para una estrategia metapolítica en la Nueva Derecha. Los Nuevos Derechistas no se oponen en tomar un arma y pelear, pero si se oponen en tomar un arma en lo que ahora es esencialmente una lucha de ideas.

Entonces, para mi forma de Nacionalismo Blanco, la Vieja Derecha es un factor relevante en términos de factor analítico y objetivos políticos, pero rechazo el imperialismo y me pongo a favor de un nacionalismo universal, y rechazo el modelo organizativo Bolchevique a cambio de una red y métodos metapolíticos.

                ¿Cómo deberían los Nacionalistas Blancos acercarse a la Vieja Derecha? De la misma forma que te acercas a cualquier otra tradición o cuerpo de conocimiento: con una mente abierta pero crítica. Primero, obtienes la suficiente educación y experiencia de tu propia cosmovisión, entiendes quién eres, y ejercitas un juicio adulto. Entonces, parándote sobre esos fundamentos, examinas la Vieja Derecha, incorporas lo que es verdadero y útil, y rechazas lo que no lo es, y seguís adelante. Este acercamiento requiere auto-consciencia, autenticidad, y los pies sobre la identidad y la cosmovisión propia.

El acercamiento menos productivo a la Vieja Derecha es cuando personas que carecen de una cosmovisión propia van de compras por un sistema completo y listo de ideas que pueden adoptar como pack en oferta. Los ejemplos comunes en nuestros círculos incluyen el catolicismo, Ortodoxia, Tradicionalismo, y Nacional Socialismo. La Vieja Derecha adoptó estas ideas esencialmente como dogmas religiosos, en los cuales uno se somete los pensamientos y juicios de otros en lugar de los propios.

El peligro de tales personas caerá en repetir ideas y estrategias que no están más justificadas – e incluso si las estuvieran-  carecen de la experiencia y el pensamiento crítico necesario para ir más allá de ellas. También carecen de tener pies sobre la tierra en la realidad presente, cualidad necesaria para aplicar tales ideas productivamente. El resultado usual es la estridente y malcriada gente que vive en los foros de internet y los hilos de comentarios. Sin embargo, probar ideas es parte del crecimiento intelectual y la exploración, y la exposición a la experiencia y los contra-argumentos generalmente tiende a madurar tales personas.

Otro acercamiento improductivo con la vieja Derecha no es tan sólo adoptar un sistema listo de ideas sino imaginativamente identificarse uno mismo con el Tercer Reich u otro régimen fascista pasado. Esto va más allá de aprender la lección de historia y aplicarlas al presente en lugar, y en su lugar, se transforma en escapismo, una forma de volar del presente en lugar de transformarlo, y es una forma de re-pelear las peleas del pasado, las cuales no pueden cambiarse, y evitar las batallas del presente, en las cuales el futuro de nuestra raza está en juego. El acusar a tales personas de LARPear es generalmente un cumplido no merecido, porque tal juego de rol pocas veces lleva a cualquier tipo de “acción real”.

También hay algo profundamente inauténtico en identificarse con un régimen pasado, en especial con uno extranjero. El Nacionalismo Blanco es una forma de política identitaria. Y para ser políticas identitarias, sin embargo, tienen que estar basadas bajo una identidad real. No somos tan solo criaturas de nuestro propio tiempo y lugar, debido a que rechazamos las identidades falsas y sin significado que el sistema actual nos ofrece: individuos desarraigados, ciudadanos del universo, hijos de ningún lugar, definiéndonos a nosotros mismos a través de productos plásticos y posturas que consumimos y descartamos. En su lugar, nuestra identidad está definida por nuestro legado cultural y biológico, el cual nos lleva al día presente y no puede ser reconducido a otro tiempo y lugar.

Rechazamos la “identidad” moderna porque es falsa, porque no nos cabe, porque nos hace miserables y vacíos. Pero el individualismo moderno sólo puede ser falso si nosotros ya tenemos una verdadera identidad, aunque seamos en amplia medida inconscientes de quienes somos realmente. Por lo tanto, la respuesta a la peste moderna es descubrir quiénes somos y vivir de acuerdo a ello, ser auténticos en lugar de falsos. No es una respuesta de simple reemplazo de la identidad falsa predominante por otra igualmente falsa pero más excéntrica o marginal. Adoptar sistemas de ideas fuera de los rieles o vivir en el pasado son síntomas del desarraigo en lugar de soluciones al mismo.
