This is very nice.
Yes, this is very nice. It is a beginning as far as I am concerned. One of the reasons that the Pagans accepted Jesus was that he was very similar to their Sun God. Whether or not the Pagans internalized this is another question. I love the myths. The stories are so dynamic and full of life. When the Christians wanted to convert the Pagans, they made these similarities explicit. Their mistake was trying to annihilate the old stories and create a dogma. Well the church did for their own power politics. Yet, the heroes will live on, no matter what the church says whether it is the Gospels or the heroic stories, or just standing in awe of life.
