Nationalism This Week
The Nationalists Are Coming

Greg Johnson

1,853 words

Keith Woods’ The Migrants Are Coming

On October 5th, Keith Woods’ new documentary The Migrants are Coming premiered on YouTube and other platforms. On the 7th, the video was removed from YouTube, and the Europa channel that hosted it was banned. Fortunately, you can still watch and share this documentary on X, and I highly recommend it.

The Migrants Are Coming was filmed earlier this year, lasts 75 minutes, and focuses on two rising national-populist political parties: Alternative für Deutschland in Germany and Konfederacja in Poland, as well as related groups. The first 17 minutes of the film focus on Germany, the last 58 minutes on Poland.

The film could be called The Nationalists Are Coming, because it focuses less on migrants than it does on the inevitable reaction to mass non-white migration: namely the rise of national populism. Woods presents the essential statistics on how many migrants there are and the negative consequences they bring, primarily crime and cultural erasure. He goes into some detail about a particularly horrific murder in Poland.

In Germany, Woods interviews Lena Kotré and Christopher Tamm of AfD. The Poland segment is much longer and contains many more interviews, including with Marcin Oswoski of All Polish Youth and the controversial former Konfederacja MEP Grzegorz Braun, as well as many Polish Zoomer “normies.” Some are surprisingly sensible, even the liberals. I was impressed that these people felt comfortable speaking to Woods about controversial topics in English. I was particularly pleased that Woods made repeated use of the idea that Poland is the homeland of the Polish people. It is a seductive idea, and it is interesting to see the reaction of liberals who feel they need to reject it.

As an interviewer, Woods asks pertinent questions and provides cogent comments. His final words are especially eloquent.

From a technical point of view, The Migrants are Coming is well-filmed, edited, and paced, with well-chosen music and a nice mix of interviews, commentary, and narration. He chooses particularly beautiful settings, especially in Potsdam, Germany. Germany’s greatness is communicated by shots of beautiful historic buildings from a distance. Her fall is communicated by shots of the same buildings close-up, in which we see graffiti, litter, and homeless people.

The film works well as a whole, but it can also be broken up into short segments, which will have more of an impact on social media.

There’s only one thing I wish Keith had said differently.  When a young Polish woman was struggling to be frank about her fears of migrants, she said, “I don’t want to be racist . . .” I wish he had just said, “That’s okay.”

I also have one suggestion for future documentaries: Keith should bring a box for some of his interviewees to stand on, because he towers over all of them, and sometimes the contrast is distracting.

Central and Eastern Europe are very open to Western Nationalists. It is great to see Keith Woods being invited to meetings in the Polish Parliament and to hear truths about Muslim rape gangs in the UK being repeated by Polish politicians.

I highly recommend The Migrants Are Coming. The nationalists of Poland and Germany are inspirations to us all, and the film itself should be an inspiration to all of us who fight for the future of our peoples.

Japanese Nationalism Rises

Japan’s previous Prime Minister, Shigeru Ishiba, resigned due to backlash to his open borders immigration policy as described here. While the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) is still in power, it has sharply swerved to the Right by choosing Sanae Takaichi as its new party leader. This means that the Japanese Diet will likely appoint her as Prime Minister on October 15th.

Women in politics have a spotty track record, but we can hope that Takaichi is an exception to the general trend. She agrees with the deceased Shinzo Abe’s vision of Japan and served in several cabinet roles under him. In addition to admiring Margaret Thatcher as an Iron Lady, in 1994 she also promoted the book Hitler’s Election Strategy. Takaichi is a member of the Nippon Kaigi, which wants to revise Japan’s pacifist constitution and has visited the Yasukuni Shrine several times despite whining from South Korea and China that it honors war criminals. She also opposes gay marriage, separate surnames for married couples, and changing the rules of Imperial succession from direct male line descent only.

Most importantly, she is staunchly anti-immigration and open borders. She prefers raising native birthrates over importing migrants to deal with Japan’s ageing population.

She also plans to crack down on immigrants and tourists who break rules or disrespect Japanese culture, such as those who abuse deer in her home prefecture of Nara. The Nara deer are messengers of the gods and thus are deemed national natural monuments. Abusing them is punishable by fines and up to five years in prison. She also wants to restrict foreigners buying property.

On February 24, 2025, Takaichi released the following statement on the Ukraine War and the US response:

The US-Russia-led ceasefire talks remain deeply concerning. If the world accepts border changes through military force, the global order will collapse. Without guarantees for Ukraine’s security, any ceasefire will merely give Russia time to rebuild for another invasion. After the Soviet Union’s collapse, Ukraine was the world’s third-largest nuclear power. Under the Budapest Memorandum, it agreed to relinquish its nuclear weapons in exchange for security assurances from Russia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Russia betrayed that promise. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is reinforced by its military alliance with North Korea. We must also not forget the joint military operations conducted by China and Russia around Japan in recent years. Japan faces an exceptionally harsh geopolitical reality, surrounded on three sides by authoritarian nuclear powers—Russia, North Korea, and China. Depending on the conditions of a ceasefire, Japan’s security risks could increase further. We must move beyond excessive reliance on others and continuously strengthen our own defense capabilities. NATO is also showing signs of instability, highlighting the growing realization that diplomacy without military strength is weak.

I wholly agree with this position. Since the First World War, the leading European powers have wanted to outlaw conquest as a way to change borders. This commitment was strengthened after World War II and the fall of Communism in Europe. It is central to the current “global order,” to the extent that such a thing actually exists.

You can buy Greg Johnson’s Against Imperialism here.

It is a good thing. As a universal ethnonationalist, I want a global order of sovereign ethnically homogeneous homelands. I want a world in which empires are broken down, not expanded. Such a world should not allow border revision by war but by peaceful partition or amalgamation along ethnic lines. I think it is simply silly and counter-productive for nationalists to cling to the right of conquest because they wish to validate their own nations’ pasts. Instead, we should be looking toward the future, toward creating a better world order for all peoples.

Russia and Israel are the two main nations who chafe against the consensus opposing the right of conquest, for obvious reasons. Our movement is pretty much immune to Israeli influence. But not so with Russian. This is why I take a very dim view of Russian influence operations on the nationalist Right, since Russia—like Israel—wishes to undermine nationalism in other nations and break down barriers to imperialism.

Since Trump took office in January, his administration has changed from an alt-media meme-based Ukraine policy toward a reality-based one, largely because it became clear that Trump’s flattery of Putin and hostility to NATO was simply increasing Russian provocations while undermining Europe’s collective security. In short, it was making the Ukraine War worse and a wider European war more likely.

The US clearly wants to scale back its commitments to the defense of Europe and Japan. But Europe and Japan need time and stability to build up their own defense capabilities, which is incompatible with the chaotic and juvenile improvisational foreign policy of the first 8 months of Trump’s presidency. I hope that having Takaichi as a peer will improve Trump’s foreign policy as a whole.

Japan is much more ethnocentric than most white countries around the world. The Japanese are both aware and proud of their distinctness. Thus Japan’s national “immune system” reacted quickly after only a small amount of immigration from the darker, dumber, more violent parts of the world. Japan has now proved itself politically much healthier as well, given how quickly the change in public consciousness has led to a change in government. I hope that one day all white nations will have parties and candidates that are as based and responsive as Japan’s.

Andrej Babiš with Viktor Orban

The Czech Elections

There was a nationalist turn in Czechia’s October 3rd election for its lower house (which will determine who is Prime Minister). The Action for Dissatisfied Citizens (ANO) party won a decisive victory with over 34% of the vote and knocked the center-Right Together coalition down to about 23%. Voter turnout was the highest it has been since 1998 at about 68%, which gives the ANO a clear electoral mandate.

The ANO is led by Andrej Babiš who has a populist and Euroskeptic “Czechs First” platform modeled after Trump.

Babiš, unfortunately, is a mixed bag. He has the profile of a lot of shady post-Communist oligarchs: a former Communist, he enriched himself through privatization of state enterprises.

The poison pill, however, with the ANO—like many other Central European national populists—is that it is pro-Putin. This is actually a rather unpopular position in all these countries, but populists have bought into it based on the idea that Russia is a “geopolitical counterweight” to the US, their alternative media spaces are awash in Russian memes, and Russia has simply bought allies.

As is usual in parliamentary democracy, in which it is rare for a party to obtain a majority on its own, the ANO will have to ally with other parties to elect a Prime Minister and govern effectively.

The good news is that they have plenty of good allies to choose from. There is the anti-immigration Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party which won 7.8% of the vote. And there’s the anti-Green Motorists for Themselves party which got 7% and whose honorary president, Filip Turek, has caused some pearl clutching because he collects WWII memorabilia. There’s also the Pirates party which got 8.7%. While the Pirates are liberal on many issues, they also support government transparency, online privacy, and free speech.

Czechia is still about 98% white with most foreigners being Ukrainians. Czechia will stay that way because the ANO is staunchly opposed to immigration. In fact, the ANO has pledged to reject the EU’s migration pact which is a Trojan Horse for migrant invasion. Babiš has stated that rejecting the migration pact will be the priority of his first cabinet meeting.

The ANO’s victory will also help bolster the Patriots for Europe group in the EU parliament alongside Hungary and Slovakia.

And for Recent Nationalist Triumphs in the UK . . .

I highly recommend Jared Taylor’s article “Nationalists on the March in Britain.”

Women’s roles in Japanese society have changed greatly since MacArthur’s meddling after WWII. Great article! 🙃

For the worst, unfortunately, as they strive to copy the West apparently without being able to recognize or reject the poisonous parts.

There is a pdf document that’s available online called “Modernization and Divorce in Japan”. In it is a graph that shows that from the late 1800’s the divorce rate was going down, then in 1945 the divorce rate starts going up.

Then it starts going down again 1955-65 as people were probably too busy with jobs & getting on with life fixing up Japan. Then skyrockets again.

“The Nara deer are messengers of the gods and thus are deemed national natural monuments”

This is why a Pagan Europe would be much more immune against mass immigration – if your homeland, its woods, creeks and crags, is spiritually meaningful, you can justify its defense with supra-rational arguments rather than just mundane economic/utilitarian ones (which don’t move anyone’s heart because they don’t touch the essence of anything).

This really is a good point. Japan really is a pagan society. That first came home to me watching Kurosawa’s The Hidden Fortress, when the protagonists come across peasants celebrating a harvest festival. It really sank in when I read Naoki Inose’s Persona: A Biography of Yukio Mishima. Also, do a web search for “Japanese penis festival.”

Great piece. Japan is definitely feeling the pinch in their proximity to ongoing threats. She wants Japan for Japanese. Can’t argue with that sentiment. We should offer any assistance we can to help them protect themselves.

Babiš is not “pro-Russian” or “pro-Putin.” In the Czech context, these labels are applied by the liberal media to anyone who is not a fanatical globalist or Eurocrat. It is the same as labeling Nigel Farage “pro-Hitler.” Although Babiš is also labeled a “populist,” he is not a politician who can build on personal charisma and the enthusiasm of masses of supporters (which is the case not only with Trump, but also with Orbán and Fico). Babiš does not even have the “based” charm of former Czech President Miloš Zeman. Babiš is a pure pragmatist/technocrat/technologist of power. His cadres are similarly faceless.

In fact, parties that can be described as “far right” have not been very successful in Czech elections. This applies both to the communists from Stačilo (who are culturally conservative and anti-immigration) and to Okamura’s SPD. “Motorists” are a strange bunch of TikTok influencers and Thatcherites (they are against immigration, but in much the same way as any “edgy” “manosphere” YouTuber who sells potency drops). They are proof that “algorithms” don’t necessarily bring Jared Taylor’s doppelganger into parliament. The Pirates are an “urban” “woke” party of green genderists of a particularly toxic corporate streak (they were founded as libertarians, but that was a long time ago).

Having said that, Babiš is certainly an improvement over the terrible liberal coalition that has ruled in Czechia until now and was essentially an extension of the American Democrats and Brussels. People voted for him for purely pragmatic economic reasons, to stop inflation and energy prices. Importantly, Babiš promised to fight against the migration pact. Regardless of his ideological lukewarmness, Babiš will be constantly attacked by hysterical liberal media and “pro-Western” activists as some kind of “pro Russian usurper”, which may paradoxically “radicalize” him towards Orbán and Fico.

I’ve been spamming people with “Summer Nationals” documentary. The young lads I sent to absolutely loved it. They’ll all be getting spammed with “The Migrants are Coming” too. I think docos are an effective way of getting millions on our side. I hope our brother Angelo Plume, “Pox Populi” gets in on doco creation. I would imagine he would be very good at making them. Also glad to assist any future doco creators in what ever way I can.

I look forward to watching Woods’ documentary.  I first became aware of invasion by mass migration thanks to European documentaries I saw a decade ago highlighting changes to Germany, Sweden, France, UK and Italy.

A propos of nothing, I just enjoyed a TV commercial with a bunch of kids in it playing and swimming and having fun and there are some parents in the commercial too, and every one of them is white. I almost had to pinch myself. The product is Turtlebox which appears to be a speaker or radio. I will buy one.
