Le national-populisme est là pour rester

    5,795 words

    English original here

(more…)

Au-delà de l’Alt Right : vers un Nouveau Nationalisme

    4,514 words

    English original here

L’Alt Right est morte. Mais l’Alt Right a été si utile – et tellement drôle – que nous devons créer un produit de remplacement, et le plus tôt sera le mieux. (more…)

    The Three Caballeros

    1,488 words

I remember the early autumn of 2016, just before Donald Trump was elected President of America. I was sitting on the terrace of a very trendy bar with a very good friend, and we were on our 6th or 7th glass of rum. It was one of those blessed Mediterranean nights where the scorching heat of the day had receded and the moisture of the air was slowly cooling, (more…)

Agrarian Populism & Cargo Cult Fascism

The Falangist Sección Femenina salutes before delivering food to the needy, Pascual Marín, 1937.

    1,908 words

Allow me, dear reader, to take you on a fantastic journey to a mythical time known as the “middle tens.” It was a period between 2012 and 2018 when the hottest political movement was populism. All the cool kids were populists, and we were witnessing the rise of something new and exciting, something that would later be described as national populism. (more…)

    The Congress Has No Clothes:
The Capitol Occupation & Post-Trumpian Populism

The Boston Tea Party, when costumed LARPers began a revolution

As an American observing Wednesday’s “mostly peaceful” protest at the Capitol from abroad, I admit I was taken by surprise. Foreign acquaintances had been asking me for months if anything dramatic would happen in relation to the election. While I was sure that a Trump victory would have led to BLM and Antifa violence on a scale we had never seen before, I assured everyone that in the event of a Biden win, discontent would be limited to the “proper political channels” and social media (more…)

Polish Nationalism of the New Millennium:
    An Interview with Jaroslaw Ostrogniew

    4,519 words

I have known Jaroslaw for a long time. He always impressed me as a highly erudite individual. We are both active in writing articles on the New Right and in various metapolitical organizations. We agreed to exchange interviews, so I will provide an interview for Szturm magazine and Jaroslaw for Reconquista. (more…)

I’m Changing My Tune About Coronavirus

    1,420 words

The coronavirus pandemic is a complex and changing phenomenon, and so are my thoughts about it.

I can sympathize with the ecologists who think that the Earth has far too many humans and would welcome a pandemic to dramatically reduce our numbers. But not yet. This is not the time, because coronavirus isn’t the killer they’ve been hoping for, and as a member of a race that is already on the path to extinction— (more…)

    Steve Bannon’s Dharma

    6,486 words

Errol Morris’ American Dharma, which is a documentary about Steve Bannon, is probably the most elusive film ever produced by a major filmmaker. Although it premiered at film festivals in September 2018 and received a great deal of press (most of it negative) at the time, it was impossible to see for over a year thereafter. The distributors refused to bring it to theaters, it wasn’t shown on television, and you couldn’t find it streaming or on DVD. (more…)

The UK Voted for National Populism

    1,236 words

When Brexit won and I heard “Land of Hope and Glory” played at one of the celebrations, I found myself tearing up, much to my surprise. Of course, it makes sense. England is my ancestral homeland. But actually feeling it came as a surprise. It was one of those “Welcome to the human race” experiences. (more…)
