The recent decline in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs has exposed a harsh reality: black women are facing disproportionate job losses. While supporters claim DEI is a moral imperative, its removal indicates that many black professionals, especially women, relied on artificial hiring preferences rather than competitive skills. The evidence suggests DEI acted as a form of affirmative action welfare, propping up black women in roles they might not have earned in a merit-based system. At the same time, traditional affirmative action primarily benefited the black upper class, rather than the broader black community. The deeper issue is that black Americans have historically been net consumers of tax dollars rather than contributors, and even a thriving economy has not closed this gap. The root causes—lower average cognitive ability, weaker entrepreneurial drive compared to immigrants, and a cultural resistance to starting at the bottom—suggest America may never fully resolve its racial disparities.
As companies scale back DEI efforts, black women are losing jobs at higher rates than other groups. This trend suggests many were hired to meet diversity quotas rather than for their qualifications. In a free market, employment should be based on skills and productivity, not identity. The fact that black women are disproportionately affected by DEI cuts is proof that their job placements were artificially inflated by quota mandates, and not natural demand for their labor.
Affirmative action has functioned similarly, serving as a subsidy for the black middle and upper classes rather than a true uplift for the gifted but poor students. Elite universities lowered admissions standards for black applicants, but the beneficiaries were usually the children of successful black professionals, not the working poor. This created the illusion of progress while masking deeper economic stagnation in black communities.
Also troubling is that historical tax and income data show that black Americans, on average, receive more in government benefits than they pay in taxes. Despite decades of civil rights progress, welfare programs, and massive social spending, this imbalance remains. Further, as the economy grows more complex, requiring higher cognitive skills, black workers will continue to lag in high-paying fields.
IQ differences play a significant role in this disparity. Studies consistently show that black Americans have lower average cognitive ability than whites and Asians, which correlates with poorer performance in technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial roles. A modern economy rewards intelligence and adaptability, meaning those with lower IQs face permanent disadvantages. No amount of DEI or affirmative action can overcome this biological reality.
However, although human capital is important, many immigrant groups with little formal education thrive through hard work and entrepreneurship. Vietnamese nail salons, Korean convenience stores, Mexican landscaping businesses, and Indian-owned motels succeed because these entrepreneurs prioritize grit over entitlement. They start small, reinvest earnings, and build wealth from the ground up.
Yet as Marcus Garvey once observed black people often “want to start at the top instead of building from the bottom.” This attitude persists today. Many black Americans reject low-status, labor-intensive jobs, preferring to demand high-paying corporate or government positions without the necessary skills. Meanwhile, immigrants take the jobs blacks avoid and eventually own the businesses blacks refuse to start.
The uncomfortable truth is that simply being born in America is the greatest advantage black Americans could ask for. No other black population in the world enjoys comparable wealth, opportunity, or social support. Yet despite these privileges, black communities still fall behind.
The U.S. has spent trillions trying to close racial gaps—through Reconstruction, the Civil Rights Act, affirmative action, and DEI. Nevertheless, lingering disparities suggest that the problem is not systemic racism but deeper issues: dependency on government, lower average intelligence, and a culture that discourages the kind of hard work that immigrant groups embrace.
In sum, affirmative action and DEI acted as welfare for those who could not compete on equal footing, while the black elite reaped most of the rewards. Meanwhile, the broader black population remains economically stagnant due to cognitive limitations and cultural attitudes that hinder upward mobility.
America has done more for its black citizens than any other nation. Yet the gaps persist. Perhaps the “black problem” is not something America can fix, because the issue lies not in systemic oppression but in the inability of black communities to adapt to a competitive economy. The end of DEI may force a long-overdue confrontation with these realities.

The whole black middle class is artificial; not just government phony jobs but big corporate phony jobs too. As a young man before I left the white collar world for the trades, I worked for two Fortune 500 companies. They had blacks with offices, titles, big salaries, but no duties. At least one was, no exaggeration, completely illiterate with a college degree
DOGE figured out that 38,000 federal employees were completely useless. You can bet your last dollar that more than half of them were black. It destroyed the fake black middle class in the D.C. area with the stroke of a pen. They’re never going to find a job with the pay and benefits in the private sector nobody would hire them. Will that be a wake up call for them? They’re aha moment?

One of the dimwit negro women who got fired from my company last week immediately pecked out a three page whine fest and emailed it to everyone in the company. Not only did she not see that she had been paid to do approximately ZERO work for two years, she wanted to bitch about how rotten we all were for not seeing what an outstandingly valuable employee and human she was. She was neither, I assure you. Being in her presence was hated chore. Black women are insufferable, entitled, idiots, 99.9% of them and they will go to their graves thinking they are genius goddesses.
I apologize and take back my aha comment. You’re correct. Most of the black women I’ve worked with would do approximately one half hour worth of work per day, and then spout out complaints like “I be by like a volunteer down here.” Thanks for the correction.

It’s amazing how many things in American life act as de facto racial wealth transfers from whites to blacks. Just for a couple examples, consider tipping and public transportation. Without tips, businesses like restaurants would have to raise their prices. Blacks rarely tip, while whites respond to the calls to tip more and more. (When I was a kid, a normal tip was 10-15%. Now restaurants want 20% or more. And we didn’t have every shop asking for tips, either.) The net effect is that whites pay more to subsidize blacks, who get their food at below cost.
Similarly, blacks often don’t pay transit fares. The system must raise the fares (or taxes) to compensate, which are disproportionately paid by whites – another hidden wealth transfer. Whites pay more so blacks can ride free.
Then there are the silly laws and policies decriminalizing theft. When thieves, disproportionately black, load up trash bags full of merchandise, prices must go up to compensate the stores (if the stores are to survive), prices which whites pay to allow black thieves to get products for free.
Once I tried to catalogue these hidden wealth transfers in American life, and I recall coming up with at least a dozen, not counting the obvious wealth transfers like welfare, Affirmative Action, and racial discrimination in hiring and education.
Oh to be free of this albatross…
Don’t overlook the direct, and especially indirect, costs of black crime. Much of the desire to live in the suburbs is related to “white flight” so that their children can go to “good schools” (ie, ones with few to no underclass minorities). Think of all the money whites pay just for gasoline, not to mention the opportunity costs associated with commuting two hours plus per day, so they and their children can avoid black criminality.
But hey, whites, even otherwise non-liberal ones, simply must cling to their optimistic and hopeful views on the possibility of racial harmony!
My company just fired three totally useless women over the past month. Two of them were black. I swear to you, the general attitude of the place has improved so much it’s insane.
While not completely concerned with black women the Englishman, Dr Vernon Coleman wrote how women destroyed the health care system, In 1974 parliament decided that 50% of all doctors had to be women and women being women decided that home visits were too dangerous, evenings were family time as were weekends. Blacks view the system as a con game, DEI is just another hustle, with their victim status as the ultimate trump card. Blacks know that some jew, or liberal white is going to come along and prop them up. 🙃
Let’s hope that the conversation is forced sooner than later. I think it is naive to think you can have the conversation without the proper preparations. That is to say you must prepare by:
– Steeling your resolve to confront mass violence upon chimp out
– Coordinating and preparing for mass rioting and looting
– Preparing to present Americans with a choice of: the albatross stays but remains even poorer, more desperate but entitled thus requiring an expensive and heavy handed police state; the albatross goes to a more forgiving less advanced society where they can thrive and America can avoid the necessary harsh law enforcement and proximal separation measures
– Did I say prepare to harshly put down mass riots and mass random yet targeted black on white savagery?
– Have an open series of presentations on how the crime and dysfunction has compromised our entire justice system. 15% of the population rejects it as illegitimate. You can’t have a society that split on the legitimacy of something so fundamental to civilization. Tie that back to the choices required in preparation
This conversation should also explicitly list the costs over the past 2 centuries that White America has accrued. I think Liberia should be held in the hand to be played at some point. Life in an advanced country is a curse for those who can’t hack it. That is true even of cognitively capable people as the demands on everyone grow more intense. The compassionate thing to do is address this in fairness and be steadfast when feelings are inevitably hurt.

However, I do see a lack of ambition in these areas even with whites.
I will also take exception to the idea of Indian hotel “entrepreneurs”. It’s an open secret that the entire American hotel industry is a cartel that is owned by a family named Patel. It only exists because of the 1965 immigration act and the steady trickle of this family into the American market over the last 3 or 4 decades. They didn’t come and work by the sweat of their brow to build hotel chains. No, they took advantage of the carcass that the American economy has become and brought their old family money here to buy up half the industry.
I saw a bewildering statistic recently on the percentage of African American women with a college degree who work a government job (the implication is that they are working more artificially secure, cushier jobs with less oversight/accountability and harder to get fired from). It shocked me. I can try to dig it up if you like.
