2022 Fundraiser Final Tally

We had to wait a couple of weeks to count the last of the mail-in donations, but the final tally for the Counter-Currents 2022 fundraiser is in. Our grand total is $272,099.08. On behalf of everyone at Counter-Currents, our sincerest thanks to all of you who donated to sustain our work.

Yes, we fell $27,900.92 short of our goal of $300,000. This is the first time our fundraiser ever fell short. But, then again, our fundraiser goal was $100,000 longer than the year before.

What happened? We’re in a global recession, and some of our most generous donors had to cut back or sit this one out. But despite that, we got more than 90% of the way to our goal. We are, moreover, well ahead of our 2021 Fundraiser’s goal of $200,000. That was possible because our traffic was significantly higher in 2022, so we had thousands of new readers and hundreds of new donors helping out.

Counter-Currents will continue. Indeed, we will grow in readership and impact. Remember: we started in 2010, during the last recession. We survived and grew, and we will weather this storm as well.

Bad economic times are no excuse for dissidents to slack off. Do we really want a movement that depends upon the health of the system? That prays for the big line to go up? Aren’t we always saying that people won’t listen when the economy is doing well?

As the system declines, more people become receptive to our message: ethnic nationalism is the cure to the problems of diversity and globalization. So it is imperative that we double down and do all we can to get that message out.
