When Barack Obama was sworn in as president in January of 2009, the most influential conservative commentator in the United States was talk radio host Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh was a loyal supporter of all things Republican, and hostile to government intervention in the economy, instead preferring the more hands-off approach typical of his party. But this was not the mood of most of the electorate in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. When Obama achieved a landslide victory through promises of Left-wing economic reforms, Limbaugh was naturally disappointed, and regarded the Obama presidency with deep suspicion.
Limbaugh claimed to have been asked by “a major American print publication” to contribute a 400-word piece on his “hope for the Obama presidency.” The radio host had not yet responded to the request, but was happy to answer the question for his audience. Noting that several Republican politicians were eager to give the newly elected Democrat a chance and were wishing him well, Limbaugh took a very different approach:
If I wanted Obama to succeed, I’d be happy the Republicans have laid down. And I would be encouraging Republicans to lay down and support him. Look, what he’s talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to the guy, ‘Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.’
The “I hope he fails” statement was controversial, as Limbaugh knew it would be. It is perhaps impolite and unpatriotic to root for the president to fail. Be that as it may, his logic was sound. If one views government intervention in the economy as dangerous, it makes perfect sense to hope that a president promising to implement those kinds of reforms would fail miserably. From Limbaugh’s point of view, although there may be negative consequences resulting from a failed attempt to expand the role of government, the consequences would be far worse if Obama were to succeed.
Limbaugh’s position on Obama’s promised economic programs in early 2009 is basically the same as my own view of Donald Trump’s decision to attack Iran. A 14-point Memorandum of Understanding that purports to bring an end to American military involvement in Israel’s war was signed late last week. Much attention has been paid to the sixth point of the agreement, which promises “at least $300 billion for the reconstruction and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” Trump has essentially agreed that Iran will receive reparations.
Whether the deal will last is an open question, but regardless, it is obvious that Trump’s stated goals of regime change and unconditional surrender are not going to happen even if he is dragged back into the war. The whole ordeal has been a tremendous humiliation for the United States, and for that we should be grateful.
The best outcome would have been for Trump to have told Benjamin Netanyahu “no.” However, once the decision to go to war was made, the result we ended up with—a quick and embarrassing defeat suffered without sacrificing the lives of many American troops—is actually the best result we could have hoped for. We should be thrilled that this is not a decades-long quagmire where thousands of our people were killed and maimed for no good reason, as was the case in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

You can buy Greg Johnson’s Against Imperialism here.
Additionally, we have good reason to be optimistic. This war has unquestionably turned even more Americans against getting involved in far-away conflicts with countries that pose no real threat to the homeland. It has exposed Israel as anything but a true friend and ally. It is vindication for the non-interventionist America First wing of the Republican Party and a nightmare for warmongers, neoconservatives, and Zionists. All honest people can see that Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene had it right. We are fast approaching the day where a presidential or congressional campaign that prioritizes “Standing with Israel” will be laughed out of the room. The inevitable Republican defeat that will occur this November will demonstrate this clearly. Any dreams that neocons and Israel Firsters may have had of winning over skeptical young Right-wingers to their side are well and truly dead.
Most importantly, any president who might find themselves tempted to go to war on behalf of Israel will remember Trump’s disaster in Iran.
Regardless, some of you are probably wondering if it wouldn’t have been better if the war had gone the way Trump and Netanyahu hoped it would. Isn’t winning necessarily better than losing? Hypothetically, wouldn’t the best outcome have been for Iranian dissidents to have successfully overthrown the Iranian regime and installed a US-friendly replacement? The answer is no.
If the war against Iran had been successful, the Israel Lobby would seem more legitimate in the eyes of the public. It would have been a victory for the Israel First contingent within the GOP, and a humiliation for nationalists. It would have made the job of critics of Israel and Jewish Power far more difficult. Plenty of voters would look more favorably upon candidates who advocate an imperialist foreign policy. But that would only have been part of the problem.
A successful regime change operation in Iran would have made Trump or a future president more likely to start or join wars in the future. If Iran was a success, Israel would not hesitate to pick out a new target for Americans to bomb, and a new place for Americans to send our soldiers to die. Such a future war might turn into another Iraq or Afghanistan, if not worse.
Some lessons can only be learned by experience; and Americans, especially those on the Right, desperately need to understand that participating in wars on behalf of Israel is a bad idea. It is far better to find that out through a quick defeat in which few American lives were lost than it would be to learn that lesson in a far more catastrophic way.
Just as it made sense for a fiscal conservative like Rush Limbaugh to root for Barack Obama to fail, we should root for the failure of all shameful and immoral wars waged by the United States on behalf of Israel. The one outcome that would do the most to prevent Americans from disentangling our government’s foreign policy from that of the Jewish state is a US-Israeli victory in Iran. When it comes to wars in the Middle East, success is worse than failure.
Our position on Trump’s war should be very simple. In fact, it can be communicated using only four words: I’m Glad He Failed.

Great article! It will fail; Israel always sabotages these things. 🦈
Israel did in fact talk about Turkey – a NATO member – being next just at the beginning of the war when hubris overwhelmed them and blurred their vision. As a result we saw Trump talking about leaving NATO…

Good. Let Israel take care of Turkey herself, if Turkey is “next.” It is a Mid-East nation, nowhere near the North Atlantic, 98% Muslim and non-European. At least she’s not in the EU. I expect Turkey is in NATO because of her military might.
I’d like to see Israel take on Turkey without any usual assistance from the U.S. See a comparison here of Israel to Turkey, including their military:
https://www.globalfirepower.com/countries-comparison-detail.php?country1=israel&country2=turkey
Turkey does not have its own nuclear weapons, but it hosts an estimated 50 United States tactical nuclear bombs at the İncirlik Air Base as part of NATO’s nuclear sharing program. [1]
While these weapons are stationed on Turkish soil, they remain under the strict control and custody of the United States military. Turkey does not possess the authority to launch them independently, nor does it have nuclear-certified aircraft to deliver them.
If Jewry decides that Turkey is “next,” things can quickly change in Turkey’s favor, having 50 nuclear bombs, whether the US gives Turks the authority to use them, or not. Israel might deploy some of her 90 nuclear warheads, but that will only ensure that she’ll turn that shitty little nation into a glass parking lot. We can “remigrate’ their kin there either before or after the real Holocaust.
I’ve both read on Israeli news sites and heard on podcasts, forget the guys name, McGregor? about how Turkey may end up being the next big thing. That is the unintended consequence of this war.
My guess was that Bibi and his gmen selling that there would be a revolution to bring down the regime was all just a ruse. It was an artifice to get the US’ foot in the door and once there, the US would have no choice but to do boots on the ground and do Israel’s dirty work. Thank God it seems like Trump is opting for an exit ramp. I think Trump realized he got bamboozled by Netanyahu and it looks like Netanyahu is going to get pushed aside.
Unlike most in this movement, I actually have a high regard for Israel. It is remarkable what it has done in less than 100 years as a state despite all the challenges it faces. I think it can serve as an inspiration for a white ethnostate. But I think the neoconservative likudniks overplayed their card here. It’s like that story in the Bible where the sons of Jacob ethnically cleanse the Canaanite camp after the Canaanite king or prince raped Dinah. “You have made my name stink for the nations around me” the verse goes something like that when Jacob finds out about what happened.
Israel looks really stinky dragging the US into this war and even more stinky cynically playing the anti-Semitism card when it comes to critiquing the influence Bibi and his gmen had on Trump’s decision. The Secretary of State, a primary source on the matter, suggested this himself. The tragic irony of it all is that Iran may have been worse off before the war than after.
‘Unlike most in this movement, I actually have a high regard for Israel.’
Methinks this will not age well for you Cato. Not at all.
Anyone saying they have a ‘high regard’ for Israel is like a dog saying it has a high regard for the fat ticks that are sucking the blood from his body.
The problem with your scenario is that Turkey is a NATO member. The organisation serves as a system of collective security and deterrence, whereby its independent members agree to defend each other from attack by any outside party. This is enshrined in Article 5 of the treaty, which states that an armed attack against the territory of one member shall be considered an attack against them all. This is one reason why Trump was considering to withdraw U.S. from the organisation. Yet another sign that Israel First.

My fantastic scenario wasn’t all that serious, Z. Allow me to throw out another:
Let Trump pull the U.S. out, if he can, as he’s threatened, and let Iran into NATO with the 30 or so other NATO nations. Turkey now has the second strongest military in NATO, behind the U.S., so Sam, the bully, won’t be missed that much among the other NATO member nations.
Now, NATO has Iran. She’s nearly as close to the North Atlantic as Turkey, so why not? How many current NATO nations joined with Trump’s AIPAC Fury? Not many.
Imagine Israel then attacked Turkey “next.” How many NATO member nations would invoke Article 5 then, including newest member nation, Iran, and come to Turkey’s aid?
Would NATO defector, Big Satan, then turn on his former NATO partners and side with Little Satan against them all, including Iran? Had Trump seen this possibility all the way through?
Now there’s a scenario that I, a White goy racial separatist, can get behind. We just lay low, stay out of it and let them all duke it out over there while we continue to build our Alliance community here in southern Appalachia. :o}
I saw that one too. I’m tempted to write about it.
i had an idea recently, would it be advantageous to our cause in the United States if someone were to infiltrate leftist politics and suggest that they “send all racists somewhere”? Let’s say they were to send what they considered extremists to Alaska and allow the state to secede? Maybe you would convince them that if they did that democrats would win indefinitely. Would that outcome be desirable to establishing a permanently white controlled country?
The Left would send anyone they don’t like to Alaska just like the winners of the Running Man show were being sent to Hawaii. Or, if you prefer real events there’s a good book on this subject, Gulag Archipelago.
This is definitely a worthwhile strategy for some people to pursue.
Greg Johnson did a very good podcast back in 2013 about infiltration/entryism opportunities like this.
Great! I agree: I’m glad Israel failed. Now Turkey, Iran, and a few minor allies could declare war on Israel. In Europe, Jews are staging fake attacks on Jews and synagogues to get Jews to move to Israel. I wish all Jews would disappear from Europe, the U.S., and Australia. Jews are the number one enemy of all white people. If we managed to carve out larger territories in Europe, the U.S., etc., without the Jews, we’d have a good starting point for the Reconquista. What’s happening in Ireland is just petty violence born of desperation, because the local white people are up against the media, academia, politicians, and the entire establishment of nonprofits, corporations, and banks. Petty attacks and the burning of immigrant centers are fine, but that’s not the Reconquista.
Jewish manipulation will always ultimately hit a wall. The chief feature of the jewish personality is greed. Greed is defined as never being satisfied with what you have. No matter how much they exploit a given population jews will continue to extend their manipulation and extortion until the victim’s only option is to say “enough”.
We Whites have no stake in the victory and the success and the continued domination of the antiwhite Zionist Occupation Government (ZOG) of the United States of America.
Good for the Iranians. We have no reason to resent the success that they are having in defending their state.
I wish we Whites had states of our own, that we could defend in the justified confidence that they would defend us Whites. It must be nice to have a government of your own, one that isn’t intent on replacing you with other races.
I agree 100%. Israel’s problems are not my problems, and ZOG’s enemies are not my enemies.
A white ethno-state would pursue a foreign policy informed by George Washington and Ron Paul based on friendship and trade. No entanglinf alliances, no quests in search of monsters to destroy.
The above article is exactly correct. Best if Trump had said NO to Netanyahu. It would have been a dream come true. However, that didn’t happen, because Trump is effectively an agent for a hostile foreign power. He is a typical tool of the Jews. He’s not the only one, of course. Most federal politicians of both parties are on the Jewish payroll.
Like most people worldwide, I wanted Iran to win. It seems like they did. That is a great result for the America people, as this article has proven. It’s also a bad result for the Epstein Class and their stooges.

Thank you, Cody.
The wins in three NYC Democrat primary races by so-called “anti-Semites” has to be good news. Almost makes a pro-White individual register as a Democrat. Almost, but not quite.
Those “winners” in the lost territory of formerly White Gotham are opposed to Jewry for the wrong reasons: because they are against Trump and because of what Israel and Trump are doing in Gaza, Iran and Lebanon.
That should be of no concern to us. We should be organizing Whites who are with us in communities we control. Fuck Israel.
These “anti-Semites” should be anti-Jew for the stranglehold Jewry has in their own homeland: of the news and entertainment industry, Madison Avenue, the political process, academia, etc.– not because they are pro-Palestinians or opposed to what Israel does to her neighbors.
Israel’s cheerleaders lost big in the New York primary
June 24, 2026
…To read the news Wednesday morning, the biggest loser in New York’s primary elections wasn’t a candidate in the race. It wasn’t even a person. It was Israel [but not greater Jewry].
Three candidates who support ending or conditioning American military aid to Israel, all backed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani, won competitive primaries.
The New York Times’ assessment was blunt: “victories by pro-Palestinian Democrats show the party’s shift on Israel”. So was Politico’s: “pro-Israel politics just took a huge hit in New York”. This very publication proclaimed the establishment of “a new political machine against Israel”…

Did Trump think his “AIPAC Fury” all the way through? No. He didn’t consider that Iran has what’s known as “the home court advantage.” Iranians can hold out forever and attack surrounding US until Trump finally gives up his attack on their sovereign nation for Jewry.
IRGC strikes 85 US military targets in
‘initial’ retaliation, downs MQ-9 drone
July 8, 2026
“…The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it struck 85 US military targets in Bahrain and Kuwait with missiles and drones in an initial response to to American aggression against Iranian territory.
The IRGC, in a statement issued Wednesday, said the strikes hit facilities at Port Salman, the US Fifth Fleet’s area in Bahrain, and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. It also announced the downing of an MQ-9 drone, saying the aircraft attempted to interfere with the operation before it was shot down.
IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohammadi said that the drone was shot down over the southern province of Bushehr following overnight US airstrikes.
“Following the aerial aggression by the terrorist US military in the early hours of today, an MQ-9 drone was hit and brought down by fire from the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ air defense system over the skies of Khormuj in Bushehr province”, he said Wednesday.
The announcement came after the US launched a fresh wave of military strikes on “a number of coastal bases and non-military stations” in Iran’s southern Hormozgan province and Mahshahr, which the IRGC said “ipenly violated the ceasefire” and “trampled the Islamabad understanding”.
“In the initial response to this aggression, the naval and aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, in a joint missile and drone operation, struck 85 locations of important US military facilities at Salman Port, the US Fifth Fleet area in Bahrain, and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait”, the statement said…”
