Richard Houck? Say it aint so……….
That was a great discussion and cleared up my mind about the epstein affair, which had been wavering. Right, why was he so tight with former Israeli heads of state if it had no geopolitical significance?
frankly, I’m way past peak Epstein, but One facet of the Epstein saga that has been interesting me recently, which I can’t seem to get other people curious about, is his association with the towers financial fraud. That had been the largest Ponzi scheme pre-Madoff. Stephan Hoffenberg went to jail for over 20 years for the fraud, but he always claimed that Jeffrey Epstein was the chief architect of the Ponzi scheme and was deeply involved with the scheme. However, Epstein left the company just before its collapse and he was never charged nor served any time nor received any scrutiny for any of it! There’s been speculation as to where Epstein’s money came from, and I think it’s pretty obvious that this is where it came from. Many people believe that the seed money for his hedge fund came from this Ponzi, at least. if you read Hoffenberg‘s entry on Wikipedia, he was actually working with the Epstein victims to recover hidden funds from Epstein, before dying suddenly(he was 77). So clearly he was fairly intimate with Epstein‘s finances. it strikes me as very strange that epstein was not prosecuted for his role in this Ponzi scheme sort of like he was given a slap on the wrist for his earlier sex crimes.
but these Ponzi schemes sort of have that pattern. The authorities will investigate only after it blows up, and they have angry investors on their hands, and then they will nail only the chief of it, Madoff, SBF, Hoffenberg. All the soldiers are let off scott free, and you have to imagine some also “madoff” with huge amounts of money. And these are the only the Ponzis who are reckless enough to draw all kinds of attention and create anger, imagine the myriad of slick ones that we don’t know about! Sigh, it matters what caste you are born into in this life…
I think the startup for Epstein came from Gislaine Maxwell, who used some of the 450 million pounds stolen by her father.
I know you’ve said that, but why wouldn’t it be from this? Since when did these people give money away?
I don’t know the truth, but there’s actually a serious statement about this. It came from one of Epstein’s accountants, that his initial start came from Robert Maxwell.
There’s also a report that’s how he and Maxwell met. She was sent out by her father to meet Epstein over a financial matter, although her brother denies this.
No question, Epstein has been close to a number of wealthy Jewish businessmen.
Thanks. I admire your comments here and in Unz. The Epstein affair is sordid and fascinating, but I think we’re just putting too many eggs in the same basket with it, we need to move onto other things.
@DarkPlato Thanks. I’m not liked or listened to much on Unz.
I get what you mean. I think the interest in Epstein is justified as long as it’s tied to grounded claims. These were serious crimes on a considerable scale, yet there’s a big gap between the scale and nature of the operation, and the justice that’s been dispensed. So it has a power, and the public are really quite morally invested in it. I think it can keep going while we also focus on the core essentials like immigration, the crimes of diversity and so on.
Greg I saw you started a substack. Excellent. Thank you for doing that. It will make it easier to share your work around.
I encourage David Z to do so as well.
Thanks. David already has one.
Where is this substack, how do I access it? I’ve never seen one before, and I am curious? 🙃
One thing I learned a long time ago is that the Manosphere types like Forney and other woman-haters who have absorbed their ideas, will always side with a non-White sex abuser against the White woman they abused. Andrew Anglin actually mocked the British grooming gang victims, calling them “stupid whores”. These types are utter, absolute scum and it’s time that the rest of the pro-White movement comes to terms with that.
