When I meet WN, I often ask them a very essential question: Why are you WN? I have heard many different answers. Try asking WN this question yourself and you will be surprised by what good white people will tell you. At the end of this piece, I’ll reveal the most brilliant short answer I’ve heard on this topic over the years.
There are good answers to this question:
- I like the subculture, the music.
- I have friends in the movement.
- I’ve been involved in WN activism for a long time.
These answers are good, but they don’t say anything about a person’s existential decision. These answers reflect someone who doesn’t understands that an ethnostate and being WN is a question of being or not being, not about entertainment or passtime. Either our history, our place names, our language, our culture, our traditions, our architecture, our genetic continuation, and the legacy of our ancestors will exist, or they will not. The future controlled by the global elites is heading towards a worldwide mix of LGBT values, Wakanda worship, Anti-Racism Day, a brown population with an IQ below 80, and anti-white government policies, as is partly the case in the current Republic of South Africa; or the progressive, multicultural USA; or in the current EU. The only cure for the modern, alienated, world is WN in its highest form, as represented by Counter-Currents and a few select identitarian organizations.
But there are also bad answers:
- I’ve been WN my whole life because I have nowhere to go, people don’t want me.
- I’m WN because it’s the only thing I have left.
- I’ve never thought about it.
- I’m WN because Jews do this and Jews do that.
But this is not WN, this is anti-Zionist or anti-Semitic activism. I am WN because I am against immigration. But this is more anti-immigration or counter-jihad activism. This does not mean that a person who is against immigration/Islam demands an ethnic state for their ethnic group. You cannot define your identity negatively in relation to something, even if, for example, Antifa does so, which is why Antifa can never succeed and achieve its goal.
On the other hand, I have met various people whom I have asked this question, and they were unable to answer me, even though they had been WN for decades. They were unable to answer this question even after several days and admitted to me that they had never thought about the “Why?”
The craziest answer I’ve ever heard was that one WN enjoys the bizarre and funny stories of wignats and their sexual escapades, and likes laughing at their failed lives. Nowhere else, he said, can you find such a degree of bizarreness, human stupidity, and so many funny stories. I had to agree with this person, even though I didn’t want to, because these are the reasons that put me off WN the most.
After a false alternative such as national populism – Meloni, LePen, Okamura, AfD – comes to power, it will be up to the hard core of the WN to decide whether our countries will see remigration, a solution to the Jewish question, an end to suicidal multiculturalism, and the abolition of progressive NGOs.
Or will these fake nationalist populist governments fail just like the cuckservatives? That is why the WN must be the most educated and motivated people, they must build networks of influence and contacts, and maintain their physical fitness. We must test the various policies of these populist parties to see how they lean toward our issues. It is enough to test them in private. We do not need to test candidates in public debates, but we must radicalize national populists, because national populism is not a long-term solution, but only a vehicle for the WN to gain power.
WN is currently the most controversial and hardest path. Our enemies know this, which is why they persecute us, and we know this, which is why we support WN. We also know that victory will not come easily. Only a very brave person or a desperate person with nothing to lose would embark on such a path.
Money will disappear, houses will be destroyed, much art will vanish, rivers will change their courses, cities will be swallowed up by nature, everything in this world is temporary. If there is anything very long-lived, it is the white race. When it disappears, unlike all the things mentioned above, it cannot be restored. If the race disappears, it is the end of white people. If you want to support a healthy white future, think about eternity. Support Counter-Currents.
And now we come to the best answer to why you should be WN. This is for everyone who has read this far.
A long time ago, I discussed this question with a philosopher and publisher, and he gave me the most brilliant answer. I am WN because I think it’s right. And that settled it. This answer says it all.

As a racial group, Whites have not only had the greatest number of unique, distinct, and advanced cultures of all, but also the most variety in physical characteristics — aqua blues eyes, emerald green eyes, blonde hair, red hair, brown hair, and so forth. We are altruistic to a fault, and work continuously to rescue other rare species. It is high time to attend to saving our own. White people comprise roughly one-tenth of the current world population, and are being quickly outbred. Worst of all, this is happening within our own homelands, for which our ancestors fought, settled, and built for the very purpose of securing and protecting their freedom, and that of their descendants.

Kim, you’ve made a really interesting and articulate post that covers just about everything relevant to the continuation of our people and civilisation. I couldn’t hope to have expressed it more eloquently myself.
I became interested in White Nationalism during my mid teens – 1980 to ’81 (I turned 60 at the beginning of February this year). Even as a very small child of immediate preschool age in the late 1960’s I noticed how different the races were if only in terms of physical appearance. Once on a shopping trip with my mum and her mum, I caused them both some embarrassment when I exclaimed that a black woman I had seen, was as black as a nearby parked London cab; I must have only been about thee or three-and-a-half at the time; whilst my parents were still alive, I was regularly reminded of the incident. It became something of a family joke. I can sort of just about remember it – but only as a vague and fuzzy picture in my mind.
By the time I left school in 1981, the UK was convulsed by a string of race riots in several cities that had sizable non-White populations; I had always had a hierarchical view of life and found the idea that everybody should be given a prize merely for taking part abhorrent – if everybody gets a lollipop, then nobody gets anything; if you love everybody, then you love nobody. At the time, I thought to myself, if these immigrants are so unhappy here living in a first-world, high standard of living country, then why don’t they just go back to their own corrupt, struggling countries?
The answer being that I knew even at that very early stage, they had brought their social dysfunctions with them and expected us to if not sort their problems out, then silently put up with them regardless of consequences. At the same time I was aware that it was privileged White liberals that were enabling the anti-social behaviours of these alien newcomers.
And that’s what set me on the road to White Nationalism.

It took a long time for me to fully understand the consequences of Jew vs Gentile rivalry, and the deliberate damage of multiculturalism. I grew up in the wealthiest *black* (but voluntarily self-segregated) county in the U.S. I went to a private suburban Catholic school (kindergarten through 8th grade) that allowed in a small handful of highly-curated black students, most of whom were 50% black (dad) & 50% Oriental (mom), and all of whom were non-Catholic, so they’d all skip religion class, + mass. They would give us a run for the money academically, musically, athletically, etc. These blacks were from various different regions within the U.S. The Alabama black gal was small, 3 years younger than the rest of the class, but working at our grade level. Another of the blacks in our class, who was our same age, was doing high school senior level work in 7th grade, and the school even provided her with her own special tutor, several hours every day. You’ve probably noticed, blacks go through puberty/gain inches in height, sooner than Whites, & this advantage also allowed them to excel in PE class/team sports.
My neighborhood was almost all-White & ~85+% Catholic. In addition, during the 1970s, the Catholic church services around me were 99.99% White. With only a couple exceptions, even the high school basketball teams were all-White. Both all-girl Catholic high schools I attended were 95+% White, and very academic. My single-sex high schools lacked typical girls vs boys competitive liberal nonsense. Fortunately, I just so happened to meet my husband when I was 18.
He knew he wanted to get married & have a family. I thought there was too much corruption going on –back in 1990!– & that it would actually be morally wrong for me to have kids in such an imperfect world. He convinced me to marry him, so that he might be able to change my mind about starting a family. He did, and he was right. We’ve been married since ’94, when our neighborhood was White, and his hair was black. I’m living proof that even the most resistant women can be talked into having kids, & that parents with opposite personalities, politics, and religion, can still raise good kids together.
Because I know white nationalism is right. I don’t just believe it; I know it because it is a fact.

One thing about National Justice Party, Patriot Front, Identity Evropa, etc. is that they at least looked disciplined and not slovenly, like your typical hippie Leftist. They also did not look like they were stock Hollywood and probably overweight Confederate or Nazi play actors, or LARPers (Live Action Role-Players).

Not quite all, Ondrej. We should not just think our cause is right, we must know in our hearts that it is right. Also, as Dr. Pierce added, not just the right cause, but the only cause and being a participant in it is necessary. Other than the NJP (National Justice Party), which I was trying to follow and considering supporting, I only have cursory knowledge of the others.
NJP was so non-transparent that it wasn’t possible for the membership and financial supporters to discern what was even going on and to gauge progress. They did a handful of rallies more or less decently, but their leadership was all over the map, so there was no discipline or oversight regarding direction and ultimately over grifting.
To Lead, you have to communicate to your followers and also to the public, and even the enemy, what you are really doing. Nothing unbalances malicious mischief more than the truth.
When I kept asking if the NJP was following principles from George Lincoln Rockwell’s 1965 (unfinished, and maybe intended to be a “living” document) Legal, Psychological, and Political Warfare (LINK1), I got nothing but stone cold silence as if this was supposed to be a big secret.
Eventually, the NJP’s Greg Conte ─ who never had Online debates or discussions with anybody as far as I know ─ publicly announced that he was indeed following Rockwell’s principles from the booklet. And then he had some sort of meltdown and the NJP collapsed soon after. (LINK2 – biased article on Conte)
The thing is, this guidance from the Commander was not a secret and not meant to be kept secret from anyone, not even the enemy.
Once the public gets a schoolin’ in what White Nationalism is really about, the enemy has already lost half the battle.
My view is that Rockwell’s manual should certainly be updated for modern times, and the Internet era, but that this should be done by somebody experienced in trial law, political activism in general, and skilled at proactive lawfare (which would not be me).
Rockwell’s hard-learned wisdom, if intelligently applied, would have prevented the idiocy from, inter alia, the Order and so on which set White Nationalism back at least forty years.
Rockwell’s remarkably important manual begins by identifying what a White movement is really fighting, how to do this, and very importantly, how not to go about it.
Some of Commander Rockwell’s best advice was (paraphrasing) when you look and act like a criminal, you will be treated like one.

I think affluent and “Woke” White Liberals and Libtards are a big problem too, that should be addressed in some way as the Enemy. Some of these Whites are potentially salvageable, but while important, that might or might not be a priority goal.

You are correct, there is a white, class-based element to this that needs to be addressed. These people might not be Jews, but a lot of wealthy and upper-class whites are really far gone with this Marxist mindset. Sometimes I don’t think they would wake up if you dropped them off in an inner-city section of a big city in the middle of the night. They would probably make some unusual excuse for being robbed and mugged, which is what a lot them do with these ridiculous theories to explain black crime and disfunction. This virtue signaling needs to be studied.

Because they are evolutionary dead ends, they can’t maintain any civilization on the same level as whites. If whites become the minority in our respective homelands, then then the quality of life will go down for everyone. What were once great civilizations, will become third world shitholes.
Why am I a White Nationalist? I’d say that there is no more authentic way of organizing Nations except by Race and Culture. Other important factors like geography and even language pale in comparison.

I suppose the earliest roots of my white nationalism lay in a sort of crude southern nationalism, out of a childish desire to “whip the yanks,” if I’m honest with myself. But now I see the white race as being under attack ethnically and spiritually at many levels, with replacement immigration to America and our European homelands, and obscuration of our cultural legacy. I believe in the “white genocide” thesis, even if genocide may be a strong term, and I feel duty bound to fight against it. I also have nowhere to go and people don’t want me, so I guess there’s that too.🤣
WN aligns with the truth. It’s the only political position I’ve found that doesn’t produce cognitive dissonance.
Great piece! I’m a white nationalist because I’m tired of the system that invites outsiders into our realm that thrive as leeches and help nothing. We need our own space and they need theirs and we need an exceptionally strong defense of our space. Their space should be far away. The farther the better.

I am a White Nationalist because I believe it is a political philosophy that embodies the truest expression of a positive White identity. I am proud to be a White American.
A positive White identity is not something I grew up having. It took me years to form one. Unlike now, when White children are taught to have a negative view of their White identity, in my youth it was more a neutral view we were instilled with. Being White, it seemed, was all about focusing on those who were not White. Amerindians were a major focus of cultural reverence; and nearly all of my classmates claimed to be “part Cherokee”. It was better than nothing as an identity; which was what being a White child seemed to be. And, of course, being White meant making endless amends to blacks (for wrongs never personally committed by most Whites) and absorbing endless propaganda about black achievement. As for Western Civilization? The Pilgrims and Pioneers of European descent who carved out the most advanced civilization on the face of the earth, after making an arduous overseas journey, and then settling a vast wilderness peopled with merciless savage Amerindians? Never was I taught to celebrate it as my racial and cultural inheritance — a glorious inheritance, that is deserving of both celebration and reverential respect. The attitude I grew up with was that I didn’t have a culture; much less, anything to be proud of.
In my forties, I experienced a sense of growing futility with life in general and became consumed with nihilism. I was headed over a cliff into the void, when someone I hadn’t spoken to in years sent me an email containing a link to the Stormfront.org website. I still remember the sensation of trepidation mixed with fascination when I realized that what I was seeing, for the first time ever in my life, was explicitly racial material; that is to say, explicitly pro-White. I bit into the forbidden fruit, and thus began my journey to White identity.
For two decades now, I have lived every single day with a sense of purpose and pride in my racial identity as a White American. I can say, with all sincerity, that White Nationalism saved my life. I think often of the stirring words of Joseph Sobran, which best sums up our White heritage for me: “White Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible. It’s Western exploration, science, conquest that have revealed the world to itself.”

That’s a very good comment. I also remember my first visit to Stormfront.org and the taste of forbidden fruit. The same was true when I first listened to bands like No Remorse, Brutal Attack, and Skrewdriver. Today, after much study and verification, I take white identity and its importance more seriously than I did in my youth, when I only knew that politicians were betraying their country and race. And that the mainstream media lies completely about everything concerning the white race.

My father has raised me to be proud of my Dutch heritage. Once when I was younger, he and I were talking politics with my uncles, and one of them said “We’ll all be brown someday!”
That never sat right with me. White Nationalism was inevitable for me because of that paradox in thought.
