The Choctaw Indians didn’t live on the Plains. They were in what is now southeastern Oklahoma, which resembled northern Georgia more than it resembles the Llano Estacado. Meanwhile, on the Llano Estacado in 1865 Comanche Indians did practice black/white/brown slavery, right up until 1874 when the US Army forced them to surrender.
