Editor’s Note
I had intended to write an article with this title to commemorate the birthday of George Lincoln Rockwell, who was born 93 years ago on March 9th. But I got too busy with other things, and the birthday sneaked past me. The title is specifically “Rockwell was Right . . . about Conservatives.”
In his autobiography This Time The World, Rockwell describes his experiences dealing with conservatives in the 1950s. In lieu of an article explaining his views, I have simply excerpted some passages from chapter 7. As you will see, very little has changed.
By the way, my initial impression of Rockwell was that he was a vulgar buffoon, but my views like those of most people were shaped by enemy propaganda. So when I picked This Time the World, I was quite surprised at the man’s sheer intelligence, rationality, and eloquence. It is a powerful and inspiring book. And, as you will see, Rockwell can be quite funny as well.
By this time [in the mid-1950s], I had had plenty of opportunity to look over the activity of the ‘right-wing’ — the conservatives — and had come to the conclusion, in my total ignorance of the real nature of the case, that all they needed to succeed was an organizational drive to get them ‘together’, with a businesslike plan. I had found that there were dozens and maybe hundreds of very rich men, like H. L. Hunt of Texas and Robert Welch of Boston, who felt much as I did and who, together, could pool enough money and resources to swamp the Marxist-Zionist Jews and left-wingers. There seemed to be plenty of talent and ability, and an actual majority of our people over on my side of politics, so that common sense seemed to force the conclusion that it was only a lack of determined effort to put this together which permitted the left-wing minority, sparked by the sub-minority of Jews, to keep winning victory after victory and thereby send America down the path to Marxist socialism and racial disintegration.

But I reckoned without any knowledge of the human content of the ‘right-wing’. From the millionaires to the scared little people who attend the endless, pitiful ‘conservative’, ‘100% American’, ‘old-fashioned’, ‘constitutional’, ‘states’ rights’ meetings, I learned by bitter experience that the human material of the right-wing consists 90% of cowards, dopes, nuts, one-track minds, blabbermouths, boobs, incurable tightwads and — worst of all — hobbyists, people who have come to enjoy a perverted, masochistic pleasure in telling each other forever how we are all being raped by the “shhh — you know whos,” but who, under no condition, would risk their two cars, landscaped homes, or juicy jobs to DO something about it. Knowing nothing of this , however, and being full of my usual enthusiasm and drive, I paid for a series of radio spots before and after Fulton Lewis’ show, announcing a Washington meeting to organize the right-wing.
The response seemed to be gratifying. Hundreds of people called, and I arranged with one of them, Sam Jones, the correspondent of Bill Buckley’s National Review, to use his lovely old Virginia mansion in McLean for our first meeting.
Of the hundreds who called, only about fifty showed up at the meeting, including John Kasper and an Arab friend. I addressed the meeting in the best ‘conservative’ style, lecturing ‘nicely’ on the need ‘to get together’ more than anything else, during which I received little flurries of polite applause. Ugh! How I shudder now to think of all that feeble, useless, stupid ‘niceness’ — while Our Race and our whole world are being brutally destroyed!
From time to time somebody in the audience would ask “What about the Jews!” and there would be snickers and shifting around of feet, like grammar school kids when somebody mentions the word “sex”. Then I would scold this ‘bold’ character for such a ‘disgusting display of prejudice’, making my righteous love of the ‘wonderful’ Jews very clear, and even sharing knowing winks with some close friends in mutual appreciation of my ‘clever’ deception.
The Jews would not have disturbed such a meeting for anything in the world. We, like a million other ‘conservatives’, were indulging ourselves in the illusion of ‘fighting’ treason, subversion, communism and racemixing — in other words, the Jews — without DOING anything and without hurting the enemy himself. If we did NOT have such silly little secret meetings, we would eventually build up such a pressure of frustrated patriotism that we just might have done something forceful, and therefore effective.
My wife took up a little collection, we passed out membership cards and then stood around babbling, as is the inevitable custom after such ‘battles’ with the enemy. Everybody congratulated everybody else at this new and terrible assault on the “Eskimos”, as John Kasper called them then, and we went home all aglow with the great ‘success’.

I poured out my time and money in an all-out effort to organize the right-wing ‘nicely’, under the aegis of the American Federation of Conservative Organizations, and published a national conservative paper. We held meetings in the best meeting rooms in the Statler and Mayflower hotels. I had beautiful stationery engraved in gold. I used all my skill in art, writing, organizing, promoting and leading – the same skills which are now serving the American Nazi Party so well – but my best efforts were useless. The basic premise of conservatism was wrong.
Although it is made to appear so, the battle between the ‘conservatives’ and ‘liberals’ is not a battle of ideas or even of political organizations. It’s is a battle of force, terror and power. The Jews and their accomplices and dupes are not running our country and its people because of the excellence of their ideas or the merit of their work or because they have the genuine backing of the majority. The Zionists are in power in spite of the lack of these things, and only because they have driven their way into power by daring minority tactics. They can stay in power only because people are afraid to oppose them, afraid they will be socially ostracized, afraid they will be smeared in the press, afraid they will lose their jobs, afraid they will not be able to run their businesses, afraid they will lose their political offices. It is fear and fear alone which keeps these filthy left-wing sneaks in power. It is NOT ignorance on the part of the American people, as the ‘conservatives’ keep assuring each other — “ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” — when the truth is that any slave knows the truth — that he is a slave — but he is not free in spite of knowing this truth, unless he can somehow obtain the power to force his way to freedom. It is not the truth which will make us free in America, because millions already know the truth and hate bitterly what is going on, but they are afraid even to admit they know the truth. Ten million signed the petition for Joe McCarthy and they are not all dead, although they might as well be, as long as the right-wing spends all its time and money trying to ‘win’ another ten million instead of getting the ten million we already have to stand up! We have plenty of people, money and facilities to take America back from the traitors tomorrow morning if all the people who already know what is going on were not afraid anymore and would stand up!
As long as the right-wing confines its fighting to being ‘nice’, the great masses of the public will bow down like the sheep they are to the left-wing which is NOT nice — which uses smear, economic persecution, legal harassment and finally, physical terror to maintain its domination of our national life and culture by force. The force is disguised, of course, in checkbooks, judges’ robes, rigged party conventions, etc., but it is still force or the threat of it which has America down and afraid. No amount of papers and pamphlets, were they all masterpieces of propaganda, and no amount of talk and meetings can stop this growing left-wing force and power, and the fear it inspires — much less drive it back and destroy it.
But in 1955, I still imagined we could ‘sneak up’ on the Jews, like my sissy friends. We would build a great ‘grass-roots’ membership by not mentioning the Jews at all, or even praising them. Then, while they suspected nothing, we could become stronger and stronger and finally, one fine day, we would wipe the smiles off our faces, spin around on the surprised Hebrews and let them see just what we had in mind!
I found this coward’s dream being promoted everywhere I went. Every ‘conservative’ I met would draw me aside and groan about the latest outrages and treason of the “you-know-whos” and describe to me the latest plans to sneak up on the tormentors. I was as much beguiled by this childish illusion as anybody else. l spent hundreds of hours discussing the methods for this super-sneaky revolution and the only thing I gained from it all was the final discovery that it was and always has been impossible to unseat the terrorists by talk. One must dislodge such evil usurpers by the same weapon which got them in: POWER! Theirs was and is secret and disguised. Ours, by nature, must be open, legal and honest, but it must still be power, not talk or pamphlets or sneaky dreams. Thus it involves risk.
I also grew to know the people my wife and I came to call the “die-hards”, for some obscure reason I can’t recall. These were the perennial ‘patriots’, the eternal attendees of meetings, the inexhaustible babblers, the super-clever know-it-alls who are going to ‘throw the election into the house this time’ and the disgusting hobbyists who discharged their pent-up ‘patriotism’ once a week or so in the masochistic orgasm they seemed to obtain by flagellating themselves with the latest outrages of the Jews. These people seemed to have been ‘fighting’ the Jews all their lives, decade after decade. Their standard reaction to anything they didn’t think up themselves in the way of new schemes for sneaking up on the Jews was, “I was fighting this thing before you were born, son.” This was supposed to send the upstart packing, as if people who had spent forty or fifty years fighting so unsuccessfully had any business opening their mouths at all. These “die-hards” would insist on bending one’s ear endlessly and at all hours of day or night. Any attempt to escape from them was taken as a personal insult. My wife and I grew to dread the sessions with the “die-hards”, who were not interested in doing anything except talk and were World Champions at the pastime.
Our meetings were better and better attended, but there was no result at all. Nothing was accomplished. As the months wore on and we began to see our small savings diminish with no signs of any real progress, I began to come down with a case of ‘desperationitis’ so common to the right-wing. I had begun to meet a large, unorganized, but regular circle of ‘patriots’ which exists everywhere, with whom I discussed all kinds of tricks for ‘spilling the beans’ about the Jews, all at once. There were endless plans for dropping ‘the whole story’ out of airplanes on top of the public, while the helpless Jews watched in impotent rage as the millions of leaflets fluttered down, out of the sky. There was talk of a plan to raid a TV station of one of the major networks and hold the personnel at gunpoint, while one of us — nobody cared to discuss who, exactly — would present to the breathless millions the documents and facts on the jewishness of Communism, which we have in such abundance, but which mean so little as long as we reach only one another. There was even a scheme for sending aloft huge signs on balloons, tied to inaccessible places, which would ‘squeal’ on the Jews from the sky, while they scrambled madly to get them down. These wild ideas are actually being discussed, right now, as you read this, by otherwise intelligent people somewhere, people who are simply too overwhelmed by their own timidity and ignorance to understand that even if they played these nasty tricks on the Jews, there would be no result at all.
Just two weeks ago, as I write this, the Jews used two or three minutes of one of my speeches to introduce a long program on behalf of race-mixing on a national TV network show. Mine was the only voice for the White man in that dreary hour of Jewish race-mixing propaganda. The Hebrew media-masters even used the section of one speech in which I explained that the Jew Communists were organizing the colored races of the world in a mass assault on the White Man. The Jews imagine, in their own ignorance, that my speech, delivered to a howling mob in Washington in all its naked passion and ferocity, will repel people — which is just as wrong as the “die-hards” with their silly idea that ‘spilling the beans’ will somehow ‘wake up the people’ and attract their support. Neither is the case. People are more inert than it is possible to believe, even after you discover their inherent inertia. it takes an incredible quantity of propaganda, repeated over and over and over to move them even a little bit. This is one of the reasons Joe McCarthy told me that he wouldn’t even attempt to tell the whole truth. “They’d simply put me away as a lunatic,” he said, “and the public would forget what it was all about.” And he was probably right.
The idea that there is anything easy that can be done which will send the Jew traitors scurrying for Israel like rats, while we walk triumphantly into the White House, is one of the worst self-delusions which has been keeping the right-wing babbling and conspiring while the Jews have been laughing at us and trampling all over our Constitution, our rights, our traditions, our dignity and our White Race.
Anybody, when he first discovers what is going on, might be forgiven a certain period of nourishing this delusion and hope, but when he sees the Jews starving the families of his fellow hopers who lose their jobs, who get railroaded into jail, shipped to ‘mental health centers’ and are smeared and blasted for just the slightest attempt to stand up to Jewish power, he ought to get the idea in no more than a few years. Any man who spends thirty or forty years pretending to imagine there is such an easy way, while our country and our White Race go down and down is not a dreamer, nor is he ignorant. He is a coward!
‘Conservatives’ are the world’s champion ostriches, muttering to one another down under the sand in ‘secret’, while their plumed bottoms wave in the breezes for the Jews to kick at their leisure. They are fooling nobody but themselves.

Based on this excerpt, I agree that Rockwell’s writing is impressive and that the caricature of Rockwell as a buffoon is false, and I should have known better than to believe anything anyone in the mainstream has ever had to say about the man. Like Pierce and Oliver, Rockwell’s writings are no doubt under a complete cultural blackout not because they’re crude or bad but because they’re good.
I find it interesting that the conservatives of his era apparently understood and discussed the destructive influence of Jews in private. This doesn’t happen at all within conservative circles today where there is no understanding of the pernicious nature of Jewish influence in public or private.
Rockwell’s prescience is also amazing. Imagine trying to sound the alarm in 1950s America about Jews orchestrating the demise of the White race in country over 90% White, before the 1965 immigration act, the collapse of White birth rates and the degradation of the culture. Rockwell must have understandably come across as a raving lunatic, yet he has been completely vindicated. Rockwell strikes me as an individual like Madison Grant, someone with penetrating insight who understood the threat but emerged onto the scene well before his time.
Something else that hasn’t changed since Rockwell’s era is this; while he did put forth many valid complaints about the conservatives of his day and benefited from having the truth on his side, his open radical approach and embrace of NS didn’t get him very far.

Thus, for example, Rockwell might advicate – and intellectually defend! – openly racialist AND explicitly NS solutions to politlcal problems, paving the way for those who could support his racial philosophy in a “conventional” political party, while laying the intellectual groundwork for the NEXT generation to adopt more explicitly NS philosophies in all but name.
We could even call this next generation a “National Youth Alliance,” and develop a leadership cadre from within, which would return to their conventional political parties, and act as yeast to raise the dough, while transforming the loaf – truly effective political activists, which would, in time, form the foundation of a true national racialist political party, with the entire range of (Americanified, apple-pie, strictly legal!) NS solutions to social ills at their command.

Remember however that this was back in the 1950s, National Socialism was still a relatively new ideology at this time! There had not been torrents of holo-hoax movies coming out of Hollywood, etc.,

Today however, 70 years on, it probably time to admit that when Uncle Adolf and Goebbels said that “National Socialism is not for export” they were correct and any attempts at extra-European revivals shall fail.

You’re probably right, but if there is any hope of a revival, the traditional NS symbols, images and terms will have to be avoided at all costs.
Selling NS ideas in the future might not be out of the question as long as they’re labeled something else. Hell, a lot of people would probably be open to the NS economic program right now provided it were given a different label.

The same is true of the BNP in England, and the National Front in France. Most people agree with the pro-white program, but are afraid to vote for them, due to the demonization by the mass media.
Lou and Armor have made useful comments; it has taken me a while to resolve some concerns in the context of what Rockwell would do TODAY, if he suddenly reincarnated in the body of an Olympic gymnast, trained in rhetoric, and with a focus that would have made Nieztzsche and Ludovici proud.
The basic NS economic position has been the object of open contempt because of most of a century’s worth of propaganda drawing an equivalency between a modern, disciplined, technocratic society with a social order that is held in open contempt.
So, let us learn from our Racial Enemies.
Don’t call it National Socialism.
The only economies that can make NS work are White, and Northern European, with ahigh degree of ethnic homogeneity. Canadians would never part with hteir health system, for example; Romanow understood this, and all Representatives hold it to a sacrd tenet of Canadian politics. That this originated in the Prairies, not too long after the remarkable growth of Social Credit, speaks to the political desirbaility of this, IF the nation is ethnically homogeneous. Effectively, there aren’t any “free riders” in the Canadian health system.
An American counterpart would be as simple as three words:
MEDICARE for all.
The isues of solvency within the Medicare system can be easily resolved short-term, with a reworking of the system of copays and coinsurances. The long term solvency can be addressed by a committee within Medicare that looks to the efficacy of treatments, and does NOT have the power to enforce their well-informed opinions.
That is one element of the NS Platform, remade to meet the Jim Giles Political Effectiveness test.

That was the direction Rockwell was headed in, and I think it’s where he would go, today.
Let’s revise and extend that concept to Armor’s excellent observation concerning the BNP and the NF.

The BNP has always been the offspring of the compromise of the gelding of the openly organic nationalistic NF, and the open scorn demonstrated towards it on the BBC should not be unexpected. Dressing up in ununiform NSDAP “uniforms,” and chanting “Seig Heil,” is the best advertising our Opposition could want.
Dressing up in Brooks Brothers three-piece-and-ties, a la Don Draper of “Mad Men,” and speaking of a better future for our Children, and our Grandchildren (get them in there to avoid generational conflicts!), would make OUR Recovery Program the Transformational Program the economy really needs.

Might it be that the John Birch Society was created in response to what Rockwell was trying to do, just to act as a lightning rod, to insure the efforts of Rockwell never became popular, but would always be undermined by the incessant distractions of the JBS?
We can learn from this.

That is why I use the metaphor of Charlie Brown and the football so often; it is rich in how many times it can be applied, and powerful, as it remains stuck in the Mind as a powerful metaphor for what we usually do, and must avoid doing any more.

I heard a live Rockwell speech and the crowd just laughed at everything he said on the JQ. You can understand the confusion. Americans know Jews as some of the most successful capitalist and here’s this delusional man telling them that they make up the upper echelons of the Soviet government.
He was the BEST. Nobody after him, NOBODY, could hold his hat.
Listen to that BROWN UNIVERSITY speech from 1965. Amazing .

This explained the “why” of the mental, moral and political work of subversion going on so rapidly among our people. It was and is the JEWISH METHOD OF WARFARE, and is intended to – and is – destroying the white western Christian civilization built up by the white Aryan over countless centuries.
Where the Nordic, particularly, thinks of warfare in terms of destroying his enemy with sword, fire, guns, knives and finally bombs -(physical force) – the sly and subtle Jew thinks in terms of destroying his enemy’s RACE AND CHARACTER.

All of this explained to me the “WHY” of what I saw all about me – but HOW was it done? What was the METHOD? A Jew cannot walk up to a tribe of proud and happy Vikings (figuratively speaking, now) and simply start peddling his pornography, fire-water, narcotics, lies and hate – without being either laughed out of countenance or driven out as a criminal.
There had to be a “HOW” – a METHOD and a SYSTEM to the enormous work of social and personal disintegration of the Jew.
HOW had the Jew not only succeeded in poisoning the minds and hearts of most of the non-Jews – but even succeeded in getting his victims to LOVE him and hate any would-be rescuers?
While preaching and practicing the world’s most virulent and deadly hate of the White Race and the western civilization which is the product of that race alone, how had the Jew succeeded in get¬ting his dying victims to love the poison as “progress” and “brotherhood” – while the miserable victims persecute and HATE those who try to show them the TRUTH and rescue them from racial and social catastrophe?
I found the answer is one of the simplest human relationships in the world.
When he was a kid, almost everybody has had a grandmother or grandfather, an aunt – or maybe even a parent, who “spoiled” him.
When those who really loved him and were trying to teach him self-discipline and healthy habits, the grandmother or other “spoiler”, (usually with the sweetest motives in the world) sneaked him forbidden pleasures and/or freedoms.
“SURE, you can have all the candy you want, dear; Granny wants you to be happy!” (implying that Dad and Mom are mean, nasty tyrants).
“You don’t have to stop playing and come in when it’s dark! – Go ahead – Granny won’t tell!”
“Oh bosh, go ahead to the party! Your father sowed HIS wild oats, too. I guess he’s forgotten! You’re only young once!”
These are the time-worn phrases of the indulgent grandmother who has no trouble disrupt¬ing and destroying the character-building program of parents – BECAUSE SHE PREACHES SELF-INDULGENCE”

It remained for the Jewish concept of “free¬dom” and “progress” to make drunkenness into “alcoholism”, unfaithful wives and lousy mothers into exponents of “women’s rights”, laziness and greed into “worker’s rights”, illiterate students into devotees of “progressive education”, filthy dope-addicts and bums into “beatnik philosophers”, Bolsheviks in the pulpits as “modern preachers”, blasphemous smearers of ugliness as “modern artists”, the swine who used to scratch vile verses and diagrams on toilet-booth walls into “poets” and “writers of literature”, the madmen who beat on the walls and tin-pans in the insane asylums into “composers” , jungle cannibal dancers into models for our teen-agers, craven, rotten cowards into “realists” and even “heroes”, the disgusting “queer” men who fondle each other and put each other into high positions in our Government and State Department into “nice guys” and “diplomats”, and worst of all, bought-and-paid-for political imbeciles and compromisers, – as “statesmen”!
Before our society became judaized, what existed as a blot and a disgrace was deplored and fought. It was impossible, of course, to eliminate greed, cowardice, nastiness, stupidity, hate, drunkenness and selfishness from society. But most of our great grandfathers, even though they sometimes exhibited these faults themselves, were ASHAMED of it, and did what they could to prevent the general spread of vice in society.
It remained for “modern” Jew-dominated society, to ENSHRINE these vices as VIRTUES!
And we thus return to the question of “HOW DID THIS HAPPEN TO US? HOW CAN THEY KEEP DOING IT?”
The answer, again, is the age-old business of “spoiling”, – preaching SELF-INDULGENCE and SUPER-INDIVIDUALISM.
What spoils kids on a small scale turns grown men and women into unhappy, frustrated lost “monsters” who react to any attempt to disci¬pline or help them by throwing tantrums.
In ANY field you examine, the Jews have steadily pushed the idea of OVERTHROWING ALL AUTHORITY, DISCIPLINE and ORDER.
The Jew, Picasso, has led the “artistic” re¬bellion against “beauty” – (which demands order, control) – until “painting” today is a competition in the most wanton and libertine ugliness. The Jewess Gertrude Stein (A Rose is a Rose is a Rose) has led the “poets” in a TOTAL rebellion against not only order, but even reason and sense, until utter semantic madness passes today for “poetry”. In music, a whole flock of Jews from Bartok to Stra¬vinsky – have actually gotten millions of supposedly intelligent men and women to sit for hours in a concert hall “admiring” grinding, ear-bursting noise which would rightfully be stopped as an un¬bearable excess even in an insane asylum.
Jewish publishers and book peddlers have filled the racks in every drug store with “litera¬ture” so filthy and degraded our great grandfathers would have horse-whipped the culture-vultures responsible for such utterly disgusting pornography (in which beautiful blonde girls “kiss” huge negroes in the most perverted way and parts, for instance -I have some samples to prove this.) Jewish psychi¬atrists have made it “forgivable” for men to want to crawl in bed with other men to make “love” – not to mention “queer” women – and all of this is glori¬fied in detail in pocket books available to kids in most drug stores! Vicious young criminals, murderers and rapists are “explained” by Jewish psychiatrists by their lack of a “chance” – although the many slum kids who grow up decently get no credit whatsoever.

But complete, suppression of social order for the self-indulgence of the individual is equally bad.

Especially, we need AUTHORITY in our Government! Not dictatorship or tyranny, but confident, manly, fearless and just AUTHORITY.
The inspired founding fathers of our United States PROVIDED for that authoritarian leadership, within definite bounds, by establishing our CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.

The key is understanding that Rockwell’s goal – Rockwell’s long term goal – was the formation of a political party that would support and advocate for the White Race. This is audacious, indeed, for a man who had to do his own laundry, and lived from hand to mouth in service to the best that our Race could become.
He was killed before he could get this excellent project going, and those who came after him did all too little.
Yet, extend out the idea of a political party devoted solely to promoting White racial interests, and you get to two points:
One, a national political party which would advocate for White interests, and, in time, could lead to …
This is all to0 feasible, it certainly was, then, and remains possible, now. Does the Wallace Presidential Campain ringa bell? Coming from nowhere, with no real funding or organization, Wallace rose dramatically in the polls because he sent a message from those who were being victimized, being dispossessed, in the land their forefathers founded, and they had made into the greatest country in the history of the world.
Further proof can be seen in the political power created by the so-called “Reagan Democrats,” who were the former Wallace Demorats. Of course, they were neutralized by the conservative political forces that used them, and then disposed of them at the first convenient moment, as usual.
A hard-core political organization, like that advocated by Rockwell and Covington, that advocated solely and intelligently for White RACIAL interests, could have insured the duplicity never had a chance to be effective.
Two, a Racial Homeland for Whites, who, having missed all of the opportunities since Rockwell are now on the political equivalent of the Endangered Species List.
Rockwell, in micrcosm, and Covington, in macrocosm, both advocating for the most effective political representation our Race could have.
Is there anyone who doubts, if Rockwell was here today, he would have harnessed the talents of the late Robert Mathews, and the late David Eden Lane, into developing the political and economic foundations of what could become a Northwest Republic, a White Homeland where none may make afraid?
No.
No, there isn’t.
Read Rockwell closely; everything he wanted to do is fully realized in the Northwest Republic Analytical Model.

Amazing how absolutely nothing has changed in 60 years. The latest fad in this tradition is to babble about the constitution and rail against the ‘state’ and ‘fed’. The state and fed are just tools, who is in control of the tools is what is important. That of course can’t be discussed.
Odd it was, but self-proclaimed National Socialists- under the leadership of a man later unmasked as a half-jewish homosexual pedophile- *did* become the leadership of the white community of Marquette Park in Chicago in the late 70s. It seems that a lot of all this has to do with boldness, courage, confidence and intelligence.
You also have to pick the right time and the right place. And the utilization of period costumes is without doubt no longer feasible.
Rockwell was right about conservatives of course. It strikes me as odd, though, that so many people point out the problems with conservatism but then never consider the left as a potential vehicle for White interests – even though the White left was once strongly racialist, non-White racialist movements are mostly left wing, and most of the people attacking Jewish power today are on the left. Also, most intelligent and talented White people self-identify as left/liberal, and it would seem obvious that we want to harness the energies of these people rather than treat them as enemies.
WNs might also want to consider going on the offense against conservatives a little more. Conservatives like to fancy themselves as the brave defenders of the West against the evil, satanic liberals. We need to smash that frame to pieces. The usual WN recruitment strategy is to kiss conservative ass. It’s a bit like game – we’re giving them validation without them having done anything to earn it. That’s not going to work. Trying to appeal to conservatives by talking about how liberals are the enemy and conservatives are so much better than liberals and blah blah blah doesn’t give conservatives any reason to change their ways. They need to be attacked on their own terms. Conservatives are pro-Jew and anti-White and ought to be treated as such. Force the issue – lump conservatives in with the most vile antifas and draw a clear distinction between them and us. If they want to be “pro-West” or whatever, they need to get on our side of the line. Any attempt to frame White nationalism as “real conservatism” is idiotic and counter-productive. Conservatism has NEVER been pro-White.
Another thing: it’s easy to talking about just going out and doing something, but the major problem I see is the lack of a good plan. Nobody really has a good plan. For starters, Jews devote enough energy to infiltrating and undermining pro-White organizations that it makes it very difficult to get anything going. They nip everything in the bud. Building a Jew-proof organization is not trivial. How do you do it?
In the case of Rockwell, they just shot him dead, while he was doing his own laundry if I’m not mistaken. Assassinations work, too.
Suppose you do get an organization up and running – then what? Did Rockwell really think he was going to get elected president in 1972? Does Harold Covington really think the system is going to break down to the point where he and his rebel army can’t easily be crushed by the US military? It’s hard to see much sense in these strategies.
I don’t see a clear path to follow. Slowly spreading this stuff on the web is really the only thing that is working at the moment. I also see a lot of potential in the anti-Zionist left, which has come up with a method of implicitly identifying and attacking Jewish power that seems to be working and gaining steam. Churches are another possibility, as they have a lot of resources and infrastructure and this is how we did it historically, but for now the churches remain extremely pro-Jew from what I can tell.

As for the conservatives: I see no value in the conservative movement per se. Conservative politicos to a man are individuals of low character and mediocre intellect. Beyond that, they are conscious and cynical traitors to our race.
But we do have to be realistic about the fact that we are far more likely to find and develop white ethnic consciousness among conservative constituencies than liberal ones.

Yes, absolutely. This always needs to be taken into account. No question. I myself was for years apolitical and purely aesthetic minded (althought I always hated feminism and such things). When I began to develop a political consciousness at all, it as first with standard right-wing politics. Then I developed more enthusiasm as I discovered paleoconservatism. And radical traditionalism has taken me even further in.
Unless the people in question are Jews (in which case they will always be fifth columnists and warp the movement, so we don’t even want them here), it is among conservatives that we can find our best allies, even if they don’t agree with us on everything. Let’s remember that the national socialists formed a grand coalition among many of the forces of the traditional German right.
I just don’t see a lot of reason to think this is true. Virtually all WN recruitment effort is directed at conservatives, and a great attempt is made to put a conservative veneer on WN, yet the results are pathetic. I think if that effort were made at recruiting liberals, the results would be much better.
Furthermore, there’s just way more talent of the sort we need on the left. When WN starts to gain traction among affluent, urban, liberal Whites, it will start to make real world progress.
I see evidence appealing to conservatives is not a waste. Just in terms of noteworthy pro-White intellectuals and authors known outside WNist circles, every one of any significance shifted into a pro-White mode from conservatism.

This is obviously American list. I am not sure about any European nationalist writers, but I would be interested in knowing if any of those CC authors is associated with the European Left. Faye I believe is associated with the French Right, and from what I understand that long list is a roll call of the European New Right not the Left.
People often cite Rockwell, Oliver, and Pierce’s attacks on conservatives as evidence of the worthlessness of conservatives. Their conclusions were not just based on an analysis of conservative ideas, however, but also on inside knowledge and personal experience working with the conservatives. This raises the question of why they bothered to work with the conservatives at all. Why didn’t they just bypass the conservatives, jump right in working with the liberals, and write for publications like The Nation instead?
The answer has to be that they realized the liberals were even more worthless than the conservatives, and clearly they realized this without bothering to work with them first.

Yes indeed, the conservatives with whom Rockwell was dealing were to a man race-conscious and Jew-wise. Today such people are found only in and around the White Nationalist movement. Today’s conservatives are FAR worse than the material Rockwell tried to work with.
Jared Taylor and Kevin MacDonald were both originally liberals (MacDonald was a Marxist). I don’t know about the others. I’d be really curious to know what kinds of ideas these guys had in their heads from, say, ages 16 to 25. Duke is the best example of someone who both started as a conservative and managed to appeal to mainstream conservatives.
Seems like a lot of people follow the same trajectory I did: start off as liberal, become racially conscious and start thinking of themselves as “conservative”, then eventually realize that conservatives are not in any sense racialist and reject conservatism.
White nationalists aside, KMD undoubtedly has a much greater following on the left than on the right, though there is usually lot of handwringing about his “racism”. Still, his ideas are taken seriously by many. White liberals are way more critical of Jewish power than White conservatives, a fact which pro-conservative WNs studiously refuse to acknowledge, probably because this is the single most critical issue.
Citing the fact that virtually zero effort is made to appeal to liberals as proof that it obviously wouldn’t work is not terribly convincing. This is the very assumption that I’m challenging.
You also are comparing Alt Right and VDARE to The Nation and HuffPo, which is absurd. Alt Right and VDARE are shunned and ostracized by mainstream cons (VDARE articles are banned at Free Republic, for instance, a supposedly extreme conservative site). This is actually a good example of the distorted thinking of White nationalists on the whole liberal/conservative issue: you measure White conservatives by looking at people who are essentially White nationalist, and you measure White liberals by looking at the most obnoxious Jewish leftists like the people who write for The Nation.
Read this interview with Ralph Nader from 2004, published in The American Conservative. He refers to congressmen from both parties as Israeli “puppets”, and is against both legal and illegal immigration. Clearly, the Green Party is much better than the Tea Party from a racialist point of view. And anyone who followed the debate over whether to vote for Gore or Nader in 2000 knows that it was pretty much assumed that you liked Nader more, if you were a White liberal. What makes anyone think conservatives are closer to the WN position? It’s a gigantic delusion.

There is a lot of opposition to the policies of the state of Israel on the Left (anti-Zionism), and opposition to people within the US power structure who support those policies, but little useful anti-Semitism understood as WNists understand it (as a direct response to Jewish aggression against Whites in the service of White interests).
What we need are people who oppose Jewish hostility toward Whites and European civilization, not people for which there is no evidence they oppose Jewish power at all apart from that which supports Zionist activity in Israel.
If anti-Zionism is the standard for identifying a potential audience for the WNist message, well then there is probably at least as much anti-Zionist sentiment on the mainstream Right as there is on the mainstream Left.
Pretty much anyone on the mainstream right who aligns under Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul, or Rand Paul, or who reads antiwar.com, is skeptical or hostile toward the Zionist/Israeli agenda in the United States and around the world.
At any rate, I do agree with you that WNist need to try everything and appeal to as many people as possible no matter where they are on the spectrum, and I am open to the possibility you are aware of expressions of hostility toward Jews on the Left that I don’t know about, such as the Leftists you mentioned who admire KMD.
I don’t have time to follow everything. If there are Leftists out there who admire KMD for critiquing Jews for undermining White civilization, that’s a positive development.
But the Jewish power structure that supports Israel is the same one that is attacking Whites. The difference is that you can get away with attacking “The Israel Lobby” but you can’t get away with attacking “Jewish power”. I think the anti-Zionist left gets this on at least an implicit/unconscious level, and at least some understand it on an explicit level.
I think Buchanan and Ron/Rand Paul are not really the mainstream right. Admittedly, the anti-Zionists are not the mainstream left either, but the non-mainstream left is bigger and more significant than the non-mainstream right.

Yes, he believes that. But only after a critical mass of revolutionaries is reached. Never before. One of the beauties of the Northwest Volunteer Army is that the 3-8 men volunteer groups will be sufficiently atomized with no contact with other NVA groups. When one of these groups is infiltrated, the others will remain unscathed by ZOG.
