If one is reading this website it is highly likely that one has experienced a disastrous face-to-face racial reckoning event. It could be managing some form of African pathology as a supervisor, it could be experiencing a vicious crime, or it could be some other frustration that brought one here. The sudden realization that we aren’t really created equal, that the dream of Martin Luther King is really a nightmare, and that white Americans are under threat as at no other point in their history might make a person do something stupid, but before taking some rash action, one should calm down and read up on the basics of race realism. After all, it was whites who ushered in the modern world these past few centuries, and because of their phenomenal success in such a wide array of fields, many Western whites simply don’t and never did feel like victims. Having read Morris van de Camp’s and Kathryn S.’s recommended reading lists, I thought that I’d like to do one of those. The problem is, however, that due to my miseducation and subsequent intellectual deformity, I have no specialized focus, and as such I had no idea how to thematically list five books that people should definitely read. It bothered me greatly. But then it hit me: My lack of focus is itself a product of a specific intellectual path I’ve taken. (more…)

History is important, American history particularly so. For better or worse — and I still don’t know if it’s for better or worse — everything America does and fails to do affects the world. President Clinton was very cautious about getting involved in the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s because he was thinking of the Vietnam War. George W. Bush went on to attack Iraq because he was thinking of the “lessons” of the Second World War. (more…)

All people have a tendency to project their own attitudes and sentiments onto others. Thus, for example, it has often been noted that untrustworthy people are the most inclined to mistrust others. One special form of psychological projection is the tendency of each sex to assume the other thinks like itself. This leads to a lot of frustration and misunderstanding, because the evolutionary history and brain functioning of women and men are in fact very different. Thus arises the common female complaint that men are “jerks,” and the corresponding male lament that women are irrational and/or impossible to understand. (more…)

Studying military history is entertaining and practical. You might not be interested in war, but war is certainly interested in you. On September 10, 2001, I was expecting to spend as much free time as I could hunting that autumn, but by mid-morning the next day I was focused on training for a real war.

War is often the summit of achievement, be that an achievement of a national leader, a nation, or an individual. (more…)

Well, 2020 is one heck of a year. It’s certainly been the most unusual one I’ve lived through. I’ve thrived this year. It boils down to better use of time. I am fortunate that my day job has gone to teleworking status. As a result, the morning commute is from the bedroom to my makeshift household office. I don’t need to spend a penny on gas or a second on the road. Additionally, now that I’m home, instead of the endless office drama and trivia, I focus more on work. (more…)
