The wifejak meme has been the source of some controversy recently. Wifejak is a spin on the wojak meme. She’s a relatable character who says “woman things” that anyone who has been around a woman knows well. Essentially, the meme (which has existed for months but is apparently only now generating controversy after husbandjak, daughterjak, and sonjak have entered the stage) is lightly poking fun at women for being predictable and archetypical. In November of last year, I commented on a fundraising article by David Zsutty titled “Counter-Currents at the Crossroads.” I mentioned that I had just donated for the first time and that my wife was pregnant. I received several congratulatory messages from writers and commenters. I was elated by their response. This support reassured me that not only was I right to donate, but it also showed me that people in pro-white spaces aren’t just jaded and hopeless curmudgeons who scream into the void. These people are working toward a better future for all of us and I can trust them to have my back. (more…)

Part 5 of 7 (Part 1 here, Part 2 here, Part 3 here, Part 4 here, Part 6 here)
In our previous installment, we examined the speech Socrates made to break Alcibiades out of his complacency and spur him to educate and cultivate himself if he wishes to attain world renown.
Back to Dialogue
To borrow a term from classical music, the Alcibiades I has a “sonata” form: ABA. The first part (A1) consists of Socrates’ initial dialogue with Alcibiades. Part B is the speech about the Persian and Spartan queens. The third part (A2) is a return to the dialogue form. Socrates and Alcibiades first return to the idea of justice. Then they discuss self-knowledge. (more…)

Part 2 here
Christopher Lasch famously described the family as a “haven in a heartless world.”[1] How is the world heartless, and how is the family a haven? For Lasch, the heartlessness of the world has everything to do with the increasing liberalization and economization of life. (more…)

Herman’s real point is that women should not be forced to work by social or financial pressures, but should instead receive, for example, a housewife’s salary or higher childcare allowances. This plea for more freedom of choice has been interpreted in the media more and more obsessively in the direction of a lack of freedom. While it was initially claimed that Herman wanted to go back to the 1950s and “force women to stay at home,” it was not very long before Nazi Germany was reached as a huge projection screen for all German fears. Zapomenutí muži
Pokus o vytvoření ženské sexuální utopie byl odsouzen k neúspěchu ještě předtím, než začal. Ženská přání směřují k nemožnému, navzájem si překážejí a nepředvídatelně se mění. (more…)

(more…)
