    The Worst Week Yet:
    March 20-26, 2022

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is the new symbol of Jewish masculinity — at least according to the Washington Post.

    Breaking News: Putin is Evil

In the past few weeks I’ve gone on record stating that I don’t see the current Ukraine/Russia conflict being good for Americans in any conceivable way.

This was before I learned that Vladimir Putin is evil. Now that I know this, I agree that he must be stopped by any means necessary, even if it means genociding the entire human race. (more…)

    What’s a Woman?

    Ketanji Brown Jackson

    1,738 words

After Stephen Breyer announced he was retiring from the Supreme Court in January of 2022, Biden fulfilled his 2020 campaign promise to nominate a black female for the position. While every rational person sees the problem with electing someone based on his skin color and/or gender, the nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, should also feel somewhat disrespected for being chosen predicated on a campaign commitment to elect a black woman (not a particular black woman, just a black woman) instead of her professional and personal merit. Stephen Baskerville
The New Politics of Sex: The Sexual Revolution, Civil Liberties, & the Growth of Governmental Power
    Kettering, Ohio: Angelico Press, 2017

Shortly after I graduated from high school, a young woman of my acquaintance fell pregnant. This was a scandal, of course, but the more alarming part of the situation was the fact that the father of the baby acknowledged paternity but refused to marry. (more…)

    Human Biodiversity for Normies

    vitruvian

    Leonardo Da Vinci, Vitruvian Man

    5,572 words

This essay begins my introduction to one of the single most treacherous topics in modern political life.

That topic is essentially a scientific one, rather than a political one—although in order to see this we may have to put some very prevalent philosophical and political misconceptions aside. As such, this series is going to be somewhat more dry in tone than some of my other writing—certainly much more than many of the other essays collected at Counter-Currents.  (more…)

    The Myth of First-Wave Feminism

    1,550 words

SuffragePosterWas it oppressive to deny women the vote? Let me be clear up front: the subject of this essay is not whether women should have the right to vote now. My argument is one that hypothetically should be capable of convincing a pure egalitarian who believes that “human nature” at its core is a kind of interchangeable, uniform “stuff,” beneath its outward expressions, which are constrained by external circumstances. I can change the mind of someone who believes that men and women are not even psychologically different and who is perfectly happy with the equality that we have managed to achieve today.  (more…)

    The Fight for the Alt-Right:
The Rising Tide of Ideological Autism Against Big Tent-Supremacy

    1,124 words

bigtent-2The growth of what is termed the alt-right in recent months has lead to a growth of criticism and some debate over its meaning and scope. (We’re also on Wikipedia now). The “Alternative Right” is a 2010s political label with history I am sure most people reading this are familiar with, and if not it is beside the point. What I aim to discuss here is not so much alt-right history (more…)
