I remember what air travel was like in the dark and moldy days before social progress. Back then, you could board your plane without being forced to arrive at the airport two hours before flight time and to wade glumly through labyrinthine lines where grumpy black TSA agents tore through your baggage and you had to raise your hands over your head like a criminal suspect as federal machines scanned your body to see if you’d hidden guns or drugs under your nuts. Planes had extra leg room, didn’t charge for luggage, and you’d get a free meal, even on short flights. All of the “flight attendants” were sexy white girls known as “stewardesses,” and all of the pilots were white men.
But then came progress.

Last week, air travel was shut down across the United States for about 12 hours starting on Tuesday evening and ending the next morning. As of late Wednesday afternoon, over 1,100 flights had been canceled and more than 9,000 flights delayed. Officials at the Federal Aviation Administration said the meltdown was caused by a “damaged database file” in their NOTAM (Notice to Air Missions) communications system but that there was no evidence of a cyber-attack.
According to the Associated Press:
Longtime aviation insiders could not recall an outage of such magnitude caused by a technology failure. Some compared it in scope to the nationwide shutdown of airspace after the 2001 terrorist attacks.
Back in the days of stewardesses and free airline meals, “NOTAM” stood for “Notice to Air Men.” But then progress came along and changed it “Notice to Air Missions” lest they offend women and the sexually ambiguous.
On January 5, the week before the mass shutdown that reminded aviators of the outage following the September 11 attacks, a door blew out of an Alaska Airlines flight, necessitating an emergency landing in Portland, Oregon “as startled passengers clutched oxygen masks with a gaping hole in the plane.”
In December, The Wall Street Journal announced that “[t]he Federal Aviation Administration reported 19 serious runway incursions” from January to October of 2023. “Runway incursions” is an antiseptic way of describing what the New York Post bluntly refers to as “instances in which airplanes nearly smashed into one another.”
This past Monday, The Telegraph reported that a Boeing jet with 65 people aboard was “forced to turn back to Sapporo, Japan” after a crack was found in a cockpit window.
As alarming as all this might sound, we can take solace in the fact that airlines are purging their ranks of employees who say “nigger.”
Less than a year after George Floyd’s unfortunate death — I don’t mean it’s unfortunate that he died, I mean it’s a shame how his death was used as an excuse to force myriad inconveniences and outright danger upon we, the unfortunate — Boeing bragged that it had fired 65 employees and disciplined an additional 53 “over racist conduct.” According to Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun, “There is no place for hate within our company, and we will keep expecting the best from everyone in their interactions with one another.”
Boeing, whose quotient of minority employees had already stood at 31% by 2021, vowed to increase their quotient of black employees by 20%, which would make white employees a statistical minority.
In a recent interview, United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby vowed that “[w]e have committed that 50% of the classes will be women or people of color. Today, only 19% of our pilots at United Airlines are women or people of color.”
If you’d like to taste a rainbow of vomit in your mouth, check out the promotional video about “Virgin Atlantic’s updated gender identity policy,” in which pioneering punk-rock seamstress Vivienne Westwood trots out a crew of sexually-ambiguous flight attendants to dazzle and beguile us.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is overseen by Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, the Affirmatively Anal appointee who did such a wonderful job handling that chemical spill in East Palestine, Ohio.
The FAA’s “Diversity and Inclusion” page, which has the cute subhead “Diversity Takes Flight,” asserts that diversity is critical to the aviation industry without bothering to explain why:
Because diversity is so critical, FAA actively supports and engages in a variety of associations, programs, coalitions and initiatives to support and accommodate employees from diverse communities and backgrounds. . . . The mission of the FAA involves securing the skies of a diverse nation. It only makes sense that the workforce responsible for that mission reflects the nation that it serves.
The FAA proudly declares that they cultivate special emotional support groups for homosexuals, Injuns, Hispanics, Asians, blacks, women — pretty much every group except straight white males, unless you have the good fortune to suffer some sort of physical or cognitive disability. In that case, your special needs garner you extra-special attention:
The Secretary of Transportation has set a hiring goal of three (3) percent per fiscal year for individuals with targeted (severe) disabilities. . . . The targeted disabilities are:
- Hearing (total deafness in both ears)
- Vision (Blind)
- Missing Extremities
- Partial Paralysis
- Complete Paralysis, Epilepsy
- Severe intellectual disability
- Psychiatric disability
- Dwarfism
An industry populated with blind, limbless, emotionally unstable dwarfs with low IQs? On second thought, I think I’ll drive instead.
John P. Benison serves — as much as is possible for a man who has been legally blind since birth and has eyes that look as if God squeezed them an inch apart from one another — as the Assistant Administrator for the FAA’s Office of Civil Rights. His official FAA “About” page is a piping-hot bowl of woke alphabet soup that probably sounds profound to dumb people but suggests that his main job is to help hire not the most qualified applicants, but the most socially atypical:
Mr. Benison is responsible for assuring full, affirmative implementation of civil rights, equal opportunity, and diversity precepts within the FAA for over 47,000 employees and recipients of federal assistance. Mr. Benison is the principal advisor to the Administrator concerning civil rights, equal opportunity, and diversity matters. As the FAA Equal Opportunity Officer, Mr. Benison directs the civil rights, equal opportunity, and diversity program consistent with the Department of Transportation Office of Civil Rights, The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Commission, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Departments of Labor and Justice policies.
Benison’s college alumnus page at George Washington University — which uses the same devastatingly sexy photo as his FAA page — describes him as “a proud, openly gay man and the father of an adopted 8-year-old daughter.” It quotes Benison opining on how he was able to triumph over adversity: “I had a strong support system — my family and at GW — so I never felt like there was anything I couldn’t do.”
Nothing you couldn’t do? How about flying a plane?
Although I could find no specific FAA policy that outright forbids the blind from being airline pilots — as was parodied in an October 2022 headline from the Babylon Bee, “In Major Win for Diversity, Airline Hires Blind Pilot” — I’ve heard rumors that federal authorities, at least currently, aren’t ready to close their eyes and take that bold parachute jump into full-throttle tolerance.
It all reminds me of a cartoon from the early 1990s by the inimitable A. Wyatt Mann: “HIRE THE HANDICAPPED . . . BUT NOT AS NEWSCASTERS.” So if you insist on hiring the blind, at least keep them out of the cockpit.

We should all react the way Heather McDonald said she’s going to when she’s assigned a black doctor. She’s just going to refuse to allow them to treat her. So my advice would be that when boarding your plane, glance into the cockpit and if you see Yaphet Kotto behind the wheel, demand another flight.
First of all I demand an end to the colonialist use of the term Mission in the new NOTAM. We all know the missions were a colonialist and imperialist haven for hate. You know, the hatred for the indigenous where they were clothed, fed and attempts were made to make it possible for them to participate in a society that was not a stone age hellscape of ignoble savagery.
I demand the FAA remove the use of this harmful language that does so much damage to our marginalized and under-represented communities.
Okay. That out of the way. I realize this is off topic Mr. Goad. I still want to address something that is a subtext of the matter this post takes to the gallows to laugh at. That is the project of white dispossession. It seems the only line of attack is the competency angle. It seems that if the reckoning that will not end until there are no more employed white men that is DIE succeeds in avoiding calamities and accidents that are either hidden from sight or in keeping with historical statistical norms, we are hosed. It strikes me that the primary line of attack is to call out white dispossession and attack it on those grounds. The same is true wherever the competency card is played. Every single one of these instances should be an opportunity to mainstream what this project really is – an anti-white pogrom aimed at the total dispossession of white men.
Some day that will include the gelded weenises Scott Kirby and Dave Calhoun. Sad that the CEO of Boeing has at the top of his list of duties reading us his Hate Has No Home Here yard sign.
So the quota fillers at the DMV just renewed my license online but they fucked up the gender. I was pissed at first but I am thinking about just running w/ it. That “F” next to sex makes me quasi unfireable and above reproach. It just doesn’t sit right w/ me being full of shit but it’s a case of fighting fire w/ fire. I might just be your next female airline pilot.
Excellent laugh-out-loud photo at the top!
Oops! Cartoon not photo.
Benison’s college alumnus page at George Washington University — which uses the same devastatingly sexy photo as his FAA page — describes him as “a proud, openly gay man and the father of an adopted 8-year-old daughter.”
A gay man who adopted a girl? Surprising. Usually they groom- uh, I mean adopt- young boys.
Well, he is blind.
I read that and just assumed the kid was probably born a male…
Looking forward to the new diverse cockpits (genitaliapits?) in Air Force One & Two.
In what kind of a weird, upside-down world is a blind homosexual man allowed to adopt a child? Something is off, the well’s been poisoned. How can it be that every single CEO says the same thing, believes the same thing? It’s impossible.
You have to wonder if these CEO’S actually believe what they say about diversity or wether they are making pro diversity statements and policies to tow the party line and keep big brother off of their backs.
I worked two consecutive summers, ’89 and ’90, analyzing publicly traded companies. I read the text of and scrutinized the data of every annual report for the entirety of AMEX, NASDAQ and the NYSE. In 1989, there was virtually no concern about the environment but in 1990, especially amongst industrial concerns, it was mentioned almost universally. My first thought was that if one is really concerned about pollution one should cease creating mountains of mass-produced objects. My second thought was that they’re acting in concert for their collective interest and that both speculative thinking and popular notions about competition weren’t accurate.
The day I find a way out of the United States. I’ll make sure to travel to my new country by boat — no matter how far away it is

I wonder if that’s how they think of it to themselves.
My son graduated high school in 2022, and rather than pay huge sums of money to a university where he would be discriminated against, clever me decided to pay full fare for him to go to pilot school. I thought I had beat the system, because NO WAY would they choose diversity at this level of risk!
This to me is the final surrender of society. And by the way, look up the CEO of United Airlines performing as a drag queen.
Definitely not the kind of drag you need to be aware of in aeronautics….
I still say you’ve done him a blessing. That was my dream job, way back when. Instead, I’m in corporate hell.
Thank you for that. He does love it, even ground school, not just when he flies. And I share your feelings on corporate life. I just pray to God my son eventually gets hired as a private pilot for someone rich and kind. One of Jimmy Buffet’s old pilots lives oceanfront in my town in a house you wouldn’t believe. A mom can dream!
I haven’t have travelled by air in a long time. And I never will now, after reading this article. It’s all true. There’s nothing false or exaggerated in it.
This quote sums it up nicely – “An industry populated with blind, limbless, emotionally unstable dwarfs with low IQs? On second thought, I think I’ll drive instead.”
I like the cartoon at the end, about never hiring severely disabled newscasters. It well illustrates the problem. It’s no longer a laughing matter, however. Such freaks run our governments now, especially in the federal & state judiciaries and the various “justice” departments.
Just think about the future of commercial aviation. It will have more incompetent, non-white pilots, more incompetent, non-white, air traffic controllers, and more incompetent, non-white companies that make aviation parts and components. It will be managed by FAA officials who have little, if any, experience in the aviation sector.
Crisis of Competence, AKA The Boomer Legacy:
Complex Systems Won’t Survive the Competence Crisis (palladiummag.com)
Speaking of competence (and reading comprehension), the article you cite doesn’t blame boomers. It laments “the natural exodus of baby boomers with decades worth of tacit knowledge.”
But sure, if young people can’t read or fly planes, blame the boomers. Makes perfect sense.
I think one reason why it’s too easy to blame the Boomers over younger generations is because they are truly the last group who were adults when Whites did have significantly more political power in the USA — not necessarily because they got cheaper college, high-paying jobs, lower housing costs, and all other things that we younger folks are envious of. That, and many of the ones who are retired today, and who do have the time and financial resources to combat this, and/or at least speak out against everything that’s been happening are seemingly uninterested to lend help to our cause.
I will admit that I too at times have been guilty of over-bashing the Boomers, and I do need to work on that. I will also, however, not let GenXers and Millenials off the hook either.
GenXers, while they entered adulthood in the late-80s/early-1990s when whites no longer had political power on the national level, are guilty of living and pushing a sort of permanent Kurt Cobain-style apathy and nihilism. They had many opportunities in the early-1990s to speak out against their replacement, unfair job and college treatment, etc, before the rise of the internet took hold and made it easier to cancel people. They could have stood up to their Leftist college professors who were already discriminating against whites by this time period. Most of them did nothing. They were too busy watching MTV and Pulp Fiction at the dollar theater, and too busy taking tattooed and pierced women to dates at the salad bar at Rax.
Millennials (I am one) are so destroyed financially that you’d think the few of us who do understand demographics and the real problems would have a “we have nothing to lose but our parents’ basement” attitude and take a final stand against the destruction of our nation and our futures. Instead most of us followed the example of our GenXer older siblings to have lots of strange sexual encounters with black and Chinese women, and drink ourselves into the Full Monty, while we watch reruns of Hey Arnold on Hulu.
None of us are off the hook, but we can all be blamed for specific things.
I appreciate that you’re open to seeing more complexity in this issue. I keep feeling the need to stress that these goalposts between “generations” were arbitrarily selected. Cultural and consumer artifacts change year by year. It’s not as if Nirvana topped the charts for 20 straight years. Garth Brooks wildly outsold Nirvana for most of the 90s. Pulp Fiction—a movie I hate with every fiber of my being, the only movie I ever walked out of before it was even half over—was only the 19th-highest-grossing film of 1994. To smear an entire generation with it is a gross oversimplification. As far as superficial cultural trappings go, someone at the beginning few years of “GenX” probably had more in common with someone at the tail end of the “Boomer” cohort than they did with someone at the tail end of “GenX.”
What doesn’t change is human nature. Outside circumstances do.
To assert that any generation is more selfish, altruistic, or prone to any kind of personality trait than any other generation is to misunderstand human nature.
I honestly think the whole generational scheme is a psyop engineered to deflect blame from the tiny pockets of elites who actually dictate things. Most people of any age just go along for the ride. It’s not as if they have any say in the matter.
For what it’s worth, I couldn’t stand “Pulp Fiction” either. When the movie came out, I kept wondering why a lot of people were making a big deal out of it.
The BBC – which long ago *insisted* that its announcers could only speak perfectly modulated Oxford accented English now employs an obviously black man with an obvious speech impediment to do the continuity announcing.
This buffoon’s voice can best be compared to someone having their jaws wired together trying to blow bubbles with their head submerged in a bath tub full of warm soapy water.
No kidding.
Amazing how this policy could be announced so soon after the Sam Brinton (q.v.) scandal. Surely the airlines should be tucking their tails between their legs, monitoring all luggage carousels, and demanding all flight crew be like Caesar’s wife.
Excellent laugh-out-loud photo at the top! The aesthetic reminds me of a real-life abomination, named “Lizzo” (I think) — a morbidly obese, black woman who was in the news befouling a classical crystal flute with her balloon-like lips, all the while shaking her scantily-clad, hippo-like hips.
In Aruba now left from Boston last week had two elder white male pilots in the cockpit (Delta) and absolutely no gender confused stewardesses outside of it. Called them both “sweetheart” the whole way. There was an obvious tranny (muscular tattoo guy pretending to be a gal) in a TSA uniform and “migrants” sleeping on the ground inside Logan but these are acceptable losses when your flight crew is exactly what you hoped they would be. I saw some more white pilots in uniform at the Hilton hotel here and I complimented them by saying, “ah, white male pilots, exactly how I like to see them.” One especially pasty one quipped back, “ya we need some sun!”
