I also think that the ideal way to raise children is to have them in marriage. Preferable while you and your wife are young. And then off course stay together forever and help your grandchildren with the grandchildren and so forth. The Disney Dream.
BUT the ideal way is not always possible today. People are having children late in their lives if any and divorce rates are very high in the Western world at the moment. And surrogacy gives you access to high quality eggs from white young healthy women from all over the world and you can’t lose your children(or a lot of your money) in a divorce if you’re not married obviously. And also in some countries you can get a lot of money from the government because you are a single parent. These rules were obviously made to help (and create) single mothers but they apply to single men as well.
So it’s an option. And it’s always best to have as many options as possible. If you’re getting up there in years and can’t find a high quality woman that you trust enough to have children with then I would seriously consider the surrogacy option.
