Author’s Note: I’m going to put the word “accelerationism” in quotes as to not give the idea more credibility than it deserves.
Probably the most annoying argument I frequently hear from the online Right is that what we need is “accelerationism.” The idea is that the situation within the Western world getting worse is of benefit to us because it will either collapse the system or immediately red-pill the masses and force them into action. Some go so far as to say that we should actively bring about the acceleration of decline — somehow — as a way of bringing about this desired result sooner. I should note that this idea is not typically supported by serious commentators, but rather something you’ll encounter from anonymous accounts on Twitter (aka X) or in far-right Telegram group chats. Nevertheless, “accelerationism” is an idea which at least a number of people who consume dissident Right content subscribe to.

This idea also has a history of circulating in far-Left circles. Some Marxists have argued that only once the conditions of the working class are bad enough will the workers’ revolution to overthrow capitalism and bring about an egalitarian utopia happen. The far Right is also susceptible to this faulty line of thinking, assuming that European ethnocentrism will all of a sudden make a furious return once conditions brought about by immigration and multiculturalism get bad enough. I’ve likewise heard the idea of “accelerationism” discussed in both Right-wing and Left-wing anarchist circles, but for the purposes of this essay, I’m going to be addressing this claim as it pertains to the issue of race.
While I don’t think this idea will ever promulgate to the degree where it actually becomes something entertained in mainstream public discourse, I’m writing this for anyone who might have thought along these lines at some point, because I know that some of my subscribers have. I want to dispel the illusion that the decline in the living standards in Western countries constitutes some kind of political victory by virtue of waking more people up to systemic problems and that this will motivate them to do something about it.
In order to discredit the idea of “accelerationism”, look no further than the failing state of South Africa. Under white-minority rule, South Africa was as technologically advanced as any Western nation. Medical innovations such as the CT scan and the first heart transplant came out of South Africa in the 1960s. During the Apartheid era, South Africa also had a formidable military and successfully developed nuclear weapons. It needs to be stated that while South Africa’s white minority enjoyed a safe, First-World quality of life, the black majority still lived in Third World conditions — though they, too, were beginning to gain greater access to modern amenities.
Note: I’m not suggesting that White South Africans should feel any guilt over this.

About 30 years after the end of Apartheid and the assumption of power of the black-ruled African National Congress (ANC), South Africa can no long boast such technological achievements. This year South Africa has had difficulty keeping the power on during its winter months, with blackouts becoming an increasingly common occurrence. As of 2022, the population of South Africa was 80.9% black, 8.8% coloured, 7.7% white, and 2.6% Indian. The white share of South Africa’s population is down from 17.6% in 1985 as a result of lower birth rates and emigration.
As for crime, South Africa had a murder rate of 36.4 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2021. In contrast, the murder rate in Canada in 2021 was 2.07 per 100,000 inhabitants. South Africa is also often referred to as “the rape capital of the world.” While rape rate is far more difficult to calculate than the murder rate, this source puts South Africa at 70.22 per 100,000 inhabitants and Canada at 1.43 per 100,000 inhabitants. It’s important to note that South Africa has always had a much higher crime rate than Western countries, both before and after the end of Apartheid, and crime reached its highest point ever in the 1980s and early ’90s at the end of the Apartheid era, when the country was going through major political turmoil. Crime declined from the mid-’90s through the early 2010s, but has been on the rise again over the past decade. The difference is that South Africa’s white population was largely protected from violent crime by Apartheid’s segregation policies before the 1990s. While whites are still statistically less likely to be victims of violent crime, those protections no longer exist.

I myself actually visited South Africa in 2017. While my trip was an overwhelmingly positive experience, I can say that the ever-present threat of violent crime was palpable. Every middle-class house in cities such as Cape Town or Johannesburg has a wall around it, and the upper-class houses are surrounded by walls topped with electric fencing. Private security companies have, in effect, taken over for the corrupt and incompetent police force. In every major city, their employees can be seen roaming the streets, armed to the teeth.
The phenomenon of white farm owners being brutally attacked on their properties, and in many cases murdered, has been noted both in South Africa and abroad. In 2022, 333 farm attacks reportedly took place, resulting in 50 murders. This figure might not appear significant given that South Africa typically experiences over 20,000 murders a year, but the gruesome nature of many farm attacks, the South African authorities’ relative indifference towards them, and the racial undertones of these crimes have gained them notoriety. While some have attributed farm attacks to general criminality, many Afrikaners are of the belief that these are primarily racially-motivated crimes carried out by black radicals.
Farm attacks have become a hot-button issue in South Africa’s overwrought political climate. The “Rainbow Nation,” as it was dubbed in 1994, has failed to reap the supposed benefits of “diversity,” just as every Western nation which has embraced this creed. Ethnic and racial strife are ever-present in South Africa, three decades on from the end of Apartheid. The division is much more complex than simply black versus white. Both these racial groups are comprised of various ethnicities who have histories of conflict between one another, and South Africa also has sizeable colored and Indian minorities as well who have also found themselves the target of black radicals at times. What has caught the eye of white advocates in the West, however, is the rise of the far-left Black Nationalist party, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).

The EFF is the third-largest political party in South Africa, holding 11% of the seats in Parliament. They have become known for their fiery and frankly genocidal anti-white rhetoric. The EFF’s leader, Julius Malema, made international news recently for singing the controversial South African folk song from the 1980s, “Kill the Boer” in a stadium full of 90,000 supporters. A decade ago, the ruling ANC tried to distance themselves from the hateful song. This time around, the ANC hasn’t denounced Malema’s violent rhetoric. He was only denounced in Parliament by the centrist Democratic Alliance (DA) and the right-leaning Freedom Front Plus (FF+). Many have linked these overt calls for violence by the EFF to farm murders throughout the country, several of which happened in the days following Malema’s performance. While not all black South Africans share Malema’s beliefs, it’s clearly a sentiment held by a significant portion of the population.
South Africa has the worst system of affirmative action in the world, known as Black Economic Empowerment (BEE). These policies severely limit the career prospects of white South Africans via the law by hindering their chances of being hired for a job, receiving a promotion, or their ability to start their own business. Similar policies are enforced by universities and professional sports teams, which likewise artificially pass over more qualified white candidates in favor of less-qualified black ones. The ANC government has reportedly passed 116 racially-based laws since taking power in 1994 which discriminate against white South Africans in favor of black South Africans.
The situation which South Africa’s white minority finds itself in is far and away worse than that of the European-descended population of any country in North America, Europe, or Oceania. Demographically, economically, politically, culturally, and socially, South Africa is much worse. And this has happened very quickly. Over the course of three decades, white South Africans have gone from living in First-World conditions to Third-World conditions (though they still maintain a higher standard of living than the black majority).
South Africa’s rate of violent crime dwarfs any Western country’s. People of European descent are a small percentage of the population and falling, yet they continue to be blamed for South Africa’s failings in the post-Apartheid era. While anti-white rhetoric from the Left is reaching alarming levels in Western countries as well, few Leftists feel emboldened enough to outright call for genocide, unlike the far-Left EFF in South Africa. There have been various Leftist professors and racial activists on Twitter who have made such statements, but — as of now — this has only come from select individuals. No mainstream political party in the West has been nearly as brazen in their rhetoric as the EFF, nor would they be nearly as capable of actually carrying out such a crime.
Despite all of this, white advocates in South Africa will tell you that it isn’t so easy to get through to their co-ethnics as you might think. Incredibly, there actually exist white Leftists in South Africa who think that not enough as been done to “fight racism” and “undo the legacy of Apartheid.” They still refuse to acknowledge the existential threat they face. And beyond that, there are tons of white normies in South Africa who, while not as fervently, still believe the mythos of Nelson Mandela and the “Rainbow Nation.” The accusation of “racism” remains a potent weapon used against white people pursuing their own interests in South Africa.
Imagine the levels of brainwashing required to make this possible . . .
I’ve always hated the Right-wing argument which claim that the reason white Leftists believe what they do is because they live in overwhelmingly white, gated communities away from the consequences of “diversity.” This is true of some of them, especially Hollywood actors or rich boomers, but it is not the case for many. Many white Leftists, especially the younger ones who tend to be more radical in their beliefs, very often live in big multicultural cities, and experience “diversity” and its consequences in their day-to-day lives. But they interpret it through an ideological lens that prevent them from ever questioning the premises which brought this about. This is true in South Africa as well, where people need to live behind barbed wire.
This should totally discredit the argument often heard among the online Right (albeit from less than credible individuals) that “accelerationism” is beneficial because it will automatically red-pill people with reality, and then they’ll do something about it. It doesn’t work like that. The Leftist and anti-racist cult leader Jim Jones convinced hundreds of Americans to drink cyanide- laced Kool-Aid as an act of “revolutionary suicide” in 1978. And this isn’t the only time in history when people have gone so far as to kill themselves in the name of ludicrous religious or political beliefs. The idiom “drinking the Kool-Aid” exists for a reason. There is no specific point where things get so bad for someone that reality suddenly forces them to let go of their deeply-held delusions.

Likewise, it’s foolhardy to believe that a collapse of the system will bring about change, because countries don’t simply collapse one day. You often hear predictions of collapse or civil war bandied about online whenever a country such as the United States or France sees major unrest, as clips of cars burning and stores being looted are posted on social media. Not only does this never happen, it never even comes close to happening. Again, South Africa shows us why. The 2023 French race riots resulted in two confirmed deaths and an estimated $717 million in property damage. The 2020 Black Lives Matter riots in the United States resulted in 25 confirmed deaths and a high estimate of $2 billion in property damage.

Both of these were dwarfed by the 2021 South African riots in response to the arrest of former President, Jacob Zuma. This unrest had a death toll of 354, with some estimates of the damage in Durban alone of $4.89 billion. And all of this damage was done in only eight days, in contrast to the French riots which lasted 19 days and the American riots which lasted five months. Neither South Africa nor the city of Durban collapsed, and there wasn’t a sudden mass awakening throughout the country.
The way you change hearts and minds is through metapolitics. This is how people of European descent around the world, South Africa included, have been brainwashed into self-negation: through the relentless pathologizing of European ethnocentrism in media and education over the past 60 years. Metapolitics is the way we will return to healthy ethnocentrism, too. While we don’t have the same resources as those who indoctrinated and continue to indoctrinate our people, I am confident that we will be able to reverse this because progress towards this goal has already been made.
As bad as the situation in the country is, we can also look to South Africa for hope. There are a great many white South Africans who are aware of the reality of their situation, have a healthy sense of ethnocentrism, and have taken action. There are probably more of them per capita than in most Western countries, although I can’t find statistics which would prove this. I don’t think this can be attributed to the overall chaotic state of the country as much as it can be attributed to the work of Afrikaner advocacy organizations such as AfriForum and the Orania Movement, as well as representatives of other ethnic groups in South Africa — both white and non-white — who they have allied with.
There needs to be someone there to offer a solution to the disorder if people are going to change their minds. Why is it that Julius Malema’s performance of “Kill the Boer” made international news this month? It isn’t anything new. This song dates back to the 1980s. Here’s Malema performing the same song in 2016, albeit replacing the line “Kill the Boer” with “Kiss the Boer” — something he didn’t do this year, suggesting he feels more emboldened now than he did back then. But Malema isn’t even the most prominent individual to ever engage in such rhetoric. Here’s a video of former President Jacob Zuma singing a similarly genocidal song during his term in office.

In fact, Nelson Mandela himself, who has been built up in the West as the progressive messiah, did the same, even after he had been released from prison. Here’s a video of Mandela partaking in a song pledging to kill all white South Africans — alongside the Jewish Communist, Ronald Kasrils — only to lie through his teeth moments later about “peace,” “love,” and “democracy.” Malema’s flagrant calls for violence are therefore nothing new in post-Apartheid South Africa.

Likewise, the phenomenon of farm murders in South Africa isn’t new. Violent attacks targeting farms was a tactic employed by the ANC in the 1980s during their struggle against the Apartheid regime, and they have been a common occurrence ever since. In fact, farm murders were even more common in the late 1990s and early 2000s, as is the case with South Africa’s generally high rate of criminality. Violence has always been commonplace in South Africa. Malema’s recent performance of “Kill the Boer” is thus nothing out of the ordinary. Yet, this time it attracted a lot more attention internationally.
Elon Musk, who was born in South Africa, accurately accused the EFF of calling for white genocide and asked President Cyrill Ramaphosa why the ANC isn’t denouncing it. Say what you want about Musk — I’m not saying he is “our guy” — but he is the most prominent person to ever speak truthfully about this issue. FOX News also published an article about it. And the New York Times even felt the need to cover the story — in order to make excuses for Malema, of course — which Musk likewise denounced the publication for doing. It can’t be that Musk was unaware of the situation in South Africa prior to last week; it’s his native country, after all.
The reason that more attention has been brought to the EFF’s rhetoric this time around is because of the work that has been done by Afrikaner activists to shine light upon the issues of anti-white sentiment and farm murders in South Africa. It’s also due to the work done by white advocates in the West who have raised awareness of it, both in solidarity with white South Africans and as a warning of the future Western countries could face. Years of metapolitical messaging have begun to push these issues into mainstream discourse. Worsening conditions in South Africa haven’t done this, because the state of the country has been dreadful for decades. Worsening conditions in any country won’t do that; only metapolitics will.
I hope this dispels any notion that you might have had that “accelerationism” is a viable strategy for the Right. It’s not even really a strategy, because it’s not as if there exists a button we can press to accelerate decline. Only those in power can do that. Really, those who push this idea just use it as an excuse to sit around doing nothing but complaining on the Internet — or in some extreme cases, use this as a motive for terrorism. Positive political change won’t come from destruction. It would take decades for any Western country to become as bad as South Africa is today, and as we’ve seen, that does not automatically result in people rising up and bringing about political change.
The Left did not attain political and cultural hegemony in the West through violent revolution. They got there through incremental metapolitical change. It was the filmmakers, the professors, and the journalists who got them there. It was not the wannabe revolutionaries dreaming of the day when the proletariat, beaten down by their oppressor, would rise up, overthrow the bourgeoisie, and create the egalitarian utopia. And when there actually were revolutions, it was those elite actors who made it happen, not the disenfranchised masses. The same will be true for the Right. So, get rid of any notions that a collapse of the system or a great conflict is going to achieve your political goals. Only hard work can do that. This is how the Afrikaners have begun to gain ground in a much worse situation, and this is how it will be done in any Western country.

I’ve never really understood the argument to accelerate through to another level of hatred, mayhem, erosion, deracination and killing by way of a strategy or ideology to improve things. By my average knowledge of Marx, the story goes that the post Marxists of the world like Gramsci decided that the opportunities to take up arms did present itself in between the two world wars but despite the agitators fomenting for such a mass movement, it didn’t happen and they choose a long term approach which we see today as the result of institutions like the Fabian society.
I don’t want a ‘race to the bottom’ literally speaking as what will we have left when the fence sitters wake up? As for the middle class (they mainly are) self loathing whites who hate themselves as much much as they hate race realists – what do they think is going to happen to them in the course of this acceleration or if the ethnics ‘win’ in other parts of the world – they are ruinous and deluded to a level of insanity and incredulity I cannot fathom.
One has to wonder how much better things would be today if they had played Sun City.

The “one dark day, a spontaneous revolution’s coming!” idea is understandably appealing. But the next time a friend, loved one, well-meaning online debater starts praising collapse as a means to that end, I’ll be copy/pasting!
It is definitely fanciful to think that the collapse of civilization will somehow result in a miraculous and spontaneous revival. However, I find it difficult not to sympathize with people who think that the situation is basically hopeless short of the collapse of civilization, or at least the complete collapse of the current political order.
The South African situation is fascinating because the country is several stages deep in an abject civilizational collapse, featuring collapsing infrastructure, rolling blackouts, the breakdown of law and order, and a silent genocide of white farmers, and yet the insane Westminster parliamentary regime somehow continues uninterrupted. The collapse of South Africa is presided over by this feckless and moronic parliamentary system, where multi-party elections between antithetical groups such as the EFF, vying against each other for seats in parliament, have devolved into a morbid charade disguising what is in effect a denatured race war. I can’t help but think that an outright African nationalist dictatorship would be better, because then people would be forced to see the system for what it in fact is, instead of what it pretends to be.
As long as the parliamentary system and the liberal power sharing fantasy of multi-party elections persists, I cannot begin to fathom any resolution to this crisis. The state will remain completely and utterly worthless and dysfunctional, and society will continue to collapse amid the looting of multinational corporations and third-world mobs. Maybe things are not destined to automatically get better with the collapse of society, but things will never improve until the current liberal parliamentary political order collapses completely and is replaced with something entirely different, for better or for worse.
Accelerationism is really an umbrella term. I still identify with it. Maybe I’m just low-IQ. White-flight is accelerationism and is still ongoing. These cities are crumbling, depopulating and homogenizing, while whites build semi-nomadic utopias further into exurbia away from the outstretched hand of panhandling, rapist diversity. I’m not saying this will lead to political revolution. But it is leading to white homogeneity and accelerating nonwhite collapse. That should be our focus. That is the protracted conflict. These people are starving themselves into oblivion trying to keep up with us. The few that can lose their entire culture in suburban ‘assimilation.’
New York City is not a microcosm or proxy of western civilization. It is a grotesque melange that is further deteriorating under the weight of its cherished artificial diversity. The only whites here have foreign accents, suggesting they are tourists or immigrants. No other place could exist like this without an endless supply of capital. The same process is occurring in every large city, acting as a crucible of natural selection.
My low-IQ may be exerting itself again, but decelerationists never say exactly what they want to achieve or what the final draft will look like. As fantastic as it sounds, I don’t foresee any mass deportation or liquidation of nonwhites. That suggests the opposite: there will be mass white migration. We’ve done it before and we haven’t stopped. We are a nomadic people. We leave for jobs, romance, retirement and for our lives. So South Africa is not a good proxy for western civilization. They refuse to leave even in mortal danger, whereas every other group of whites will always leave. I run into so many white South Africans, but mostly Anglophone settlers. They understand, but the Boers do not. They want to return. Genetic research suggests Afrikaners are basically castizos and coloreds are mestizos in relation because they are comprised of the same hybridized composition in transposed degrees, at one point being of the same nation. That could explain the otherworldly obstinacy in refusing to relocate or sell their farms because that isn’t European behavior.
I’m looking at acceleration far more broadly. This civilizational conflict goes beyond political solutions. They wouldn’t let us have a revolution anyway. We’ve seen it every which way. So the next best solution is practical and it is working. Diversity Inc. keeps splintering into newer secessionist movements like LGBT+. It is harming nonwhites far more than it is affecting whites because it is an urban phenomenon. I’ve seen several intra-racial fights in my short stay in this wicked city that I don’t anywhere else. These animals are ready to destroy each other without the white man there to save the day by being the focal point.
This is the root of accelerationism as I see it. The worst thing you can do to a dog is leave him in a room filled with endless food because he will overeat to his demise. Nonwhites cannot help themselves without whites around. They revert to feral nature. But on top of that there is just enough of a presence of western sociopolitical poison left behind that it is an added dissolution, halting their birthrates, social circles and thus culture. They are becoming ironic atomized-individualists. As much as we complain about white women, feminism is hitting these communities 10 times harder.
So while the untrained eye cannot see the implosion occurring in nonwhite society, there is pre-demolition taking place that is laying the groundwork. Could you foresee black men in skinny jeans or superhero/anime t-shirts 15 years ago? They’ve gone soft. This is the fruit of neoliberalism.
As awful as leftism is, and I’m not exactly sure if this is its intent, it is slowly demolishing diversity by declawing it of its fertility/potency precisely because of cosmopolitan urbanism. Rightism does the opposite. It benefits whites, while also benefiting diversity. We can’t compete with that, but we can compete in the survivalism of accelerationism. Our Baby Boom was dwarfed by theirs, just like our birth dearth is being dwarfed by them again because we live longer, build more wealth and maintain even secularized culture over there’s. None of these people (besides Jews) maintain their native language, religion or culture after just one generation.
To summarize, ‘poverty’ and crime lead to white-flight, which is now mostly white leftists fleeing to white rightist utopias. Antifa is nonexistent now in the same way the Tea Party got used up in one election cycle. There is only one group bucking this trend almost like cockroaches in a nuclear Holocaust: Hasidic Jews. It’s surreal to see endless young families of 5-10 children.
I’ll respectfully have to quibble here. “White flight” isn’t accelerationism, but rather a safety valve which accomplishes pretty much the opposite purpose. It keeps Whites from having to confront a problem which gets a little more pressing every year. Napoleon had a good point when he said that always retreating means never winning.
I still believe that Sun-Tzu was right when he said that people fight the best when their backs are to the wall. The key to all this, though, is that people actually have to understand that their backs are to the wall before they’ll start pushing back. As for the fraction of South Africa’s White population who are lemmings collaborating in their own destruction, apparently they’re too ideologically conditioned to get the memo. These types essentially are members of a death cult.
As for our liberal friends who move to ever more remote parts of suburbia, despite all their fine talk about the wonders of diversity, they don’t really want it any more than we do. They also want to be among people who resemble them, speak the same language, practice the same culture, and all the rest of it. More to the point, they don’t want to live in a ghetto full of crime, drugs, and social decay. The key to this is that we make a connection between these dysfunctions and race. Liberals get it too, but they repress it down to the bottom of their subconscious and would never admit to knowing the truth. It’ll be quite helpful to figure out how to motivate them to stop being chickens voting for Colonel Sanders.
So if white flight isn’t accelerationism, then how do you explain what happens to regions the moment whites leave? That is indeed accelerationism and whites are causing destruction intentionally by fleeing because nobody remaining can maintain it. Neglect is still a form of abuse and it is the only card whites can play right now, perhaps the most poignant too because it signals indifference to all things nonwhite. They are ‘ghosting’ their hometowns and leaving its inhabitants to turmoil.
If ‘fighting’ is so sine qua none to survival explain how France surrendered after 6 weeks and was occupied for 5 years, and then magically was occupying parts of Germany just after that while barely doing any fighting? How is that fighting going for Ukrainian demographics? These old memes are a false dichotomy and even counterintuitive. France wisely surrendered rather than repeat WWI and look how it worked out. They got to keep their empire for another generation.
Like I said, the decelerationists have no actual solution or plan to ‘fighting back.’ It’s even worse than libertarianism. Just buzzwords. And again, what is ‘confronting?’ That just sounds like coexistence or an arm-wrestling contest. I don’t want to live around these people like they do in the South. Neither do most whites, which is why whites move out NYC into Long Island, the most segregated area in North America from the most diverse. Interesting huh?
White leftists are race realists. They are just smarter about it because they leverage it as a sociological proxy to white rightists. There is an election every day and whites of all ideologies vote the same way: choosing not to live around, interact or intermarry nonwhites.
Neighborhoods taken over by vibrant urban orcs will indeed deteriorate rapidly. However, at the macro level, nothing changes. Washington keeps doing its usual, including using HUD to settle more of the darlings in our neighborhoods. Tens of millions of Whites moved to escape since the late 1950s, sometimes selling their property at a loss, and the vast majority never said a peep about it. As for the French, that was a little different. France declared war on Germany, which necessitated Hitler to respond by fighting back. His plans for them were to stop France from fighting and install a friendly government, which is exactly what he did. Wiping them off the map was never part of the agenda. As for Macron and the characters backing him, their long-term goals for France are a lot more sinister.

An interesting article which raises some very good points. In defense of accelerationists, part of their belief is that if there is going to be a great conflict/civil war/societal breakdown, then the sooner the better as millions of non-whites are immigrating into the western world. At least 4 million have come across the US southern ‘border’ since Biden took office. The longer it takes, the greater the numbers the other side will have.

This is besides the main point of the article, but I would like to point out that the “Chinese basically own SA” to quote South Africans I’ve met. What did they do with their new found influence? They put themselves on the BEE and support the anti-white regime which allows them to conduct their exploitative business. Knowing full well, the violence against whites will continue. Just before the 1979 General Election – which brought Margaret Thatcher to power – a lefty magazine (Time Out, I think) had a full-page ad from a far-left political outfit advising readers to vote Conservative!
The ad made the accelerationist argument that the Labour Party was washed up and useless, whereas Thatcher’s monetarist policies and stated aim of reining in the unions would guarantee that the workers would be radicalised and capitalism overthrown in short order.
It would be fun to track down those responsible for the ad’s wording to ask them how they feel about it now.
The article ends with “The Left did not attain political and cultural hegemony in the West through violent revolution. They got there through incremental metapolitical change. It was the filmmakers, the professors, and the journalists who got them there.” That is true enough; someone else has stated the same argument succinctly: politics is downstream from culture. The article then states that we have to do likewise. But now that they have power, what is the likelihood that the wily leftists will stand by while we try to pull the same trick on them?
They’re not going to stand by idly. Still, that doesn’t mean they’re invincible. For one thing, their information blockade isn’t what it used to be. Also, they’re greatly burdened by building their ideology on a tapestry of lies. This takes a massive amount of propaganda to keep their side believing in their wishful thinking. We’re not buying it, of course, so they have to resort to censorship and intimidation tactics. That just makes them look bad, and doesn’t really change minds. All this isn’t too sustainable over the long haul.

I think the take away from the current situation is that acceleration proves that the(like in the past) “general strike” that the marxists hoped would bring on the revolution by the masses will never happen and as in the past any true revolutionary action is instigated by a small but determined minority. Thus acceleration has been a benefit to the right not only for this fact but as already stated above, acceleration brings the inevitable destabilization of the stagnant center and left in its entirety.
I believe the meme that the left used incrementalism to gain power is mistaken for the reason that they gained power over time when time and cultural change was historically slower in general. Judeo Capitalism gained broad acceptance at least in the mid nineteenth century and only accelerated with the technological advances which allowed it to propagandize through the development of mass media. The left still agitated for revolution and used every opportunity to accelerate and gain success. The right did also as in Spain and Italy in the twentieth century, although with different results between them.
I like to think of acceleration like a boxing match where you feint your opponent into overextending a punch leaving them off balance and open to a strike that they can’t dodge. Your not retreating but forcing your opponent to take what they believe is a opportunity but in reality is a fatal mistake.
There are two goals here:
1) Getting White people to wake up.
2) Getting White people organized to fight for their own interests.
The first goal is starting to take place. More White people are “getting it.” But this has awareness has to be translated into useful action.
What makes the second goal difficult is the lack of an activist apparatus which can build a mass movement and then take over (or create its own) institutions of power: media, academia, corporate, governmental. There are a couple of reasons for this. One is a lack of elite support (like some foundation which can cut a check for a ton of ca$h). The other reason is due to regime sponsored repression (de-platformings, mob violence against dissidents, political arrests).
The movements which exist today (NJP, Patriotic Alternative, America First and their equivalents elsewhere) are a foundation, but are operating on the margin.
It would be useful to do an analysis of the type of agitprop which has woken up White people. And then for the Dissident Right to push it further.
One thing to look at is the breakup of the Russian Empire in 1917-18 where various nationalist groups staked out their own states in Finland, the Baltic, Poland and the Ukraine. (OK, the Bolsheviks reconquered the last one during the ensuing Civil War, but the others maintained their independence and all are in existence into the 21st century.)
As for South Africa:
I was there a couple times during the apartheid era. The sense I got was that most White South Africans knew that turning power over to the “majority” would lead to a disaster (pace the rest of Africa) but there was little overt unified White racial consciousness. Still, the state institutions (armed forces, police, media) appeared to support the White demographic. But the impact of international sanctions, hostile agitprop and the increasing difficulty in maintaining order in the face of a restive African populace caused the collapse of the will to maintain power.
There was also the growing dominance of the belief in the one-man-one-vote rainbow utopia which really had its origins in the American civil rights movement of the mid-20th century and which we have seen play out disastrously in much of the Western world ever since.

I’m not an accelerationist for America, but that is in no small part because I am, at this point, selfish. I’m an aging man without immediate family (except a very old and frail mother very near her end), but with various worsening (though hardly yet crippling) infirmities. I’m no longer young and battleworthy (or even living-off-grid-worthy).
Moreover, I feel like I’ve “put in my time” already (ie, fighting for my people’s survival and liberation, arguably from as far back as the mid/late 70s). I still have to work, but I carry on wrt my unstimulating job in part because I have a reasonable hope for perhaps a decade of satisfying retirement – what I hope will be a peaceful and financially comfortable and stable retirement.
Accelerationism implies radical regime destabilization, which leads to combat casualties; otherwise needless non-combat deaths resulting from the breakdown of life support systems; and economic and physical property destruction. I understand why this might appeal to the young – they just might be able to build a better world after it – especially as the hour for white awakening and repossession of lost territories is very late. It is, however, already too late for me.
Obviously, insurrection and civic ruin can (and, if fated, will) arise totally outside my influence. But my voice is one against acceleration. I don’t think apocalyptic scenarios are necessary to prevent white extinction. I think we can ensure white preservation via prowhite intellectual justificationism and anti-diversitist de-brainwashing combined with ethnopolitical activism, the latter both to attain as much power as possible so as to slow down the pace and severity of decline, and to build up the necessary idealism and group cohesion for the eventual push for secession and ethnostatist sovereignty when times become propitious. But I think everyone should be clear on one point: whites must secure their own racially apartheid territories and sovereign polities, or our race will eventually be dissolved into a global mongrel morass.
South Africa has never been a white-majority country. It has always been a country where a white minority existed alongside a large black population – and that white population fragments along ethno-religious lines between Calvinist Boers and Anglican Anglos. Simply on these bases, South Africa is an anomaly among developed countries. The ongoing collapse of South Africa and, before that, the disaster of Rhodesia/Zimbabwe cannot by any reasonable metric be taken as indicative of what would, could or will happen in traditional white homelands.
The story of South Africa does not disprove accelerationism. In fact, it has nothing to do with accelerationism (conventionally understood) at all. All that South Africa shows is that where you have a white minority and black majority, power will eventually be handed to the majority in the name of liberal democracy and societal collapse will ensue.
Within the traditional white homelands, the story is likely to be very different and arguably we already see the fruits of accelerationism with the march of the FN/RN in France and AfD (currently with 20% of seats in the Bundestag). All across Europe, we are seeing a growing response to migration and declining standrds of living – and that response is manifestly increasingly right-wing and unapologetically ethnocentric. Thus far, and certainly in a Continental European context, accelerationism is very clearly paying dividends.
The larger question is what will happen in the USA, which, although traditionally a white majority country, refuses to see itself as such. In the US, at least, it seems that you have a fragmented and demoralised white population who are content to surrender power to non-whites in the name of civic nationalism and racial guilt. Accelerationism in an American context seems to be much closer to the South African model than to the emerging European experience.

I am not a fan of Accelerationism. I don’t see the value.
The argument seems to be that those with educations and jobs and families and homes and communities, etc., are too “bourgeois” to fight ─ so we have to recruit edgy, punk-ass White Leftists who are angry because they are White.
Sometimes fearless activists can be useful ─ until they are not ─ and then they have to be put down hard like Ernst Röhm. They are on a different wavelength and probably always will be.
I could see as a boy in the early 1970s that the White Man needed to make a stand and to fight back, and that the clock was blatantly ticking. But the time was not right ─ and before the Internet there was very limited means to correspond with any like-minded people.
When is the time ever right?
What we need is people who know how to build civilizations, and leaders who know how to develop cadre for leadership roles. We don’t need a bunch of surly Leftists, even if they happen to be White. Anarchists or wannabes know how to trash things ─ but do they know how to build things?

I am not a big fan of civic-nationalism and have no illusions about the Great Satan. But the fact is that even if the Great Satan disappeared overnight, little would change in Europe and the rest of the Anglosphere.

Way back when, the intrepid Holocaust Revisionist Germar Rudolf had started publishing his own journal that I occasionally wrote book reviews for. He wrote a missive, perhaps it was a bulk e-mail somewhere, saying that that without the imposition placed upon his home country (presumably by the United States) that he would be free to write skeptically as he liked without facing prison.
Well, yeah, but the First Amendment was what was allowing him to publish in spite of the threat of prison back in the Fatherland. He was eventually deported and did hard time in the Thoughtcrime dungeon.
We need to understand laws and how they work for our interests and to learn not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I think the idea of acceleration is that some kind of denouement seems inevitable, so the sooner the better. As opposed to the incremental degradation, or gradual worsening of the situation, we see now. Think of the frog in boiling water analogy.
These are ‘we can’t vote our way out of this’ people. Few believe some kind of Armageddon is likely. And no one really knows what the culmination of some process of acceleration, maybe a sequence of events that might be seen as acceleration, will be. Or what will come after.
I don’t see how it’s possible to discredit that idea.

I believe there’s a distinction to be made here. To some degree, worsening conditions will shake people off the fence. Even so (as the article demonstrates), there will be people who have their heads so far up their butts that they’re never going to quit being chickens voting for Colonel Sanders. More to the point, it would be a bad strategy to hide out in a bunker waiting for Doomsday, because of a belief that we’ll come out on top after everything goes to hell. We can’t count on that, and it seems more of an excuse for inaction. Furthermore, it would be a far worse error to go berserk in the name of hastening things along, make a bad example of yourself, and deliver a propaganda victory to the enemy.
What’s necessary is to do whatever we can that will lead us in a positive direction. Public outreach and consciousness raising is a big one presently. When we’ve achieved critical mass, so to speak, lots of other possibilities will open up to us to work toward peaceful change.

It’s possible that your concept of what it’s all about is rather different. Accelerationism, at least in the sense that I’m using the term, is basically the hope that worse conditions will lead to a greater good. One problem (among others I could name) is that sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and worse is just worse rather than better.
I believe the first instance of the accelerationist strategy is when Karl Marx supported free trade. He did so because it would further impoverish the proletariat. On the right, things tend to work out differently. Sometimes accelerationism gets used as a justification for inaction. Worse, sometimes someone lashes out violently, making the mistake of trying to start a revolution without the presence of revolutionary ferment. (The media just loves when some dumbass does this. So do gun-grabbing politicians.) In any case, our resources are limited, so we need to use whatever we have constructively rather than destructively.
I think this is a little bit of a ‘straw man’ argument [putting that in quotes] to suggest that the only options are apocalypse versus…what, more of the same. Hoping memes and underground dissident blogs will catch on. Few reasonable folks want a 50 year apocalypse. But I don’t want to be a whiner. The points demonstrating how diversity doesn’t always make things better are well illustrated. Various western countries are expected to make sure immigrants are part of the diversity, representation and equity experience. But immigrants to South Africa? How about Nigeria banning non-Nigerian actors in commercials, etc.?
Endeavor doesn’t like or buy the argument that progressives ‘believe what they do because they live in overwhelmingly white… communities away from the consequences of diversity’. I believe and have lived it. While it is true that we grow more conservative as we age, I had a rather swift change. It was easy being a mindless young progressive living in a lily-white community. Then when I lived in more mixed circumstances and saw all the stuff firsthand that the media distorts, I awakened. Also young white leftists in cities 1) have been indoctrinated from a young age, and 2) don’t yet have kids. Despite what they want you to believe from their Instagrams, they cluster together and mainly have white friends.

I think there can be a non-apocalyptic approach to make sure the left understands and starts to feel how their policies affect them. Among progressives, leftists, etc. is a large base who are not terribly political. They got angry at the right and Donald Trump because he is obnoxious, reliably says crude things about women or any groups given ‘protected’ status. This offends any aspirations to be a ‘nice person’ who is making the world better. That is what the majority media and Hollywood movies tell them is required. But family still comes first to them. They are happy to vote progressive or hit the ‘like’ button if someone on the right get is accused of ‘dehumanizing’ the flow of immigrants, for instance. It easy for them to behave this way, the most exertion they have done is put out that “vote progressive” lawn sign. They don’t have a new homeless shelter, the immigrant shelter, the multidwelling zoned housing, the crime, the trash, the vagrants at 3 am. A ‘lite’ form of accelerationism is seeking ‘equity’ for these liberal wish list items. It doesn’t mean accelerating immigration, just encouraging ‘diversifying’ the distribution of it and making sure the progressive enclaves get ‘equity’. It’s an idea both progressives and conservatives can get behind. It doesn’t have to be so dramatic as flying migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, just making sure progressive enclaves really get a good taste of the new whine menu. That ‘progressive’ with the lawn sign will start to get first hand gulp of what they have really been asking for… then hearts and minds start skipping beats and rethinking things. All the rioting of 1968 led to plenty of conservative wins.
The right has this idea to cede cities and cordon off problems there, ala Escape from New York. Sorry, that is a temporary stopgap at best. Witness the LA mobs organize to loot the suburbs or tony areas.

In brief, accelerationism is a coping strategy for dealing with defeat. If one loses, one can at least hope that, somehow, the bad things that are bound to happen will at least wake some people up and maybe produce a backlash, so that one will win out in the end.
Accelerationism has then mutated into a perverse strategy that claims, going forward, that “We will win by losing.”
The whole debate on accelerationism presupposes that we are somehow in a position to speed up or slow down historical processes, which strikes me as the sort of fantasy encouraged by too many hours of playing online strategy games.

As I say in another comment, the essence of ‘accelerationism’ is the recognition that crises or upheavals can be opportunities to actively promote racial unity among Whites, and white racialists ought to see them that way, and be prepared to exploit them — being an ‘accelerationist’ does not exclude continuing conventional ‘awareness raising’, or whatever you want to call it — so ‘accelerationism’ can be seen as pragmatic, in the sense it recognizes that ‘awareness raising’ seems to be going rather slowly — too slowly, when compared to the rapidity of demographic change currently overwhelming the West (and white peoples).

There’s not really much of an argument here, beyond saying that South Africa is a hellhole. South Africa is a hellhole because it’s 80% black and is run by blacks. Nobody here has the power to accelerate or slow the decline of this system. This is just fantasy football.
Really? What are we doing here then? Small committed minorities can and do topple empires. Not to spruik accelerationism ( certainly not by violence) but if we are to retrieve Western Civilization what’s the point of waiting until everyone who remembers it is dead?
It isn’t a matter of “waiting” either. You are still presuming we have the power to influence the pace of civilizational decline. I think that is entirely baseless. You do what you can, when you can–and you can always do something–to spread better ideas and plant seeds of a better order. And all the while, you hope that when there is an opportunity for real change, it crystallizes along the templates that you have been promoting rather than those promoted by our enemies.
I don’t know that that’s true, but, in any case, I didn’t assert it. The author didn’t really define what he means by “accelerationism” beyond the vague “actively accelerate the decline—somehow”. It seems to me that the Left with their antics are accelerating the decline, and we should do what we can to assist them. That might not be much, but every little bit might help.
Assist the left how? By burning a building? By doxing dissidents? By dismantling standards? By bringing a drag queen to your neighborhood library?
