Counter-Currents
Part 3 of 3 (Part 1 here, Part 2 here)
In the first two parts of this series we highlighted the power of humor and/or embarrassment in determining the course of human events — sometimes blatantly and swiftly, as during the Battle of the Yarmuk, and sometimes subtly and slowly, as with Leftism/wokeism’s long march through our institutions and culture.

I thought the sketch was a bit preachy at first but once the tables were turned I laughed and laughed.
Do we really have to use this made-up (in this context) ‘gender’ word? There are two sexes, rare intersex aside, and there are biologically and culturally determined sex roles. Gender belongs in a Latin lesson.
How it works is that they decouple behavior (“gender”) from biological sex. Then the trick is that they make gender the significant factor in what makes someone a man or woman, and pretend that biological sex doesn’t matter. (They don’t tell you this is the game here; they act as if this is self-evidently true and hope you don’t notice the trick.) After that, a man can put on a dress, declare himself to be a woman, and it’s a done deal.
What really happens when someone’s gender (again, a matter of behavior) doesn’t match with one’s biological sex? The result is either a masculine-acting woman – in other words, butch – or a feminine-acting man – in other words, effeminate. She’s not really a he, and he’s not really a she.
Precisely. But do we need to use it? Older terms like transsexual and transvestite ( cross dresser ) are more accurate and honest. The more the ‘gender’ word is used the more the confusion you describe fastens its grip on the societal mind.
Indeed, that’s true. I was just showing how the other side misuses their own arguments.
Excellent series of essays my fellow northern Ohioan.
Trannies living rent-free in Christian heads as usual, along with the usual lies and questionable assertions.
You claim “about half of all “transgenders” end up killing themselves”.
I’m going to assume you’re alluding to the ‘41% of trannies kill themselves’ meme. This is an intentional misrepresentation of a study that is widely discussed; it refers to a single question on a questionnaire of about six-thousand self-reporting transgender or gender non-conforming adults:
““Have you ever attempted suicide?” with dichotomized responses of Yes/No.”
Notice this is not completed suicide, but attempted, which “can inflate the percentage of affirmative responses, since some respondents may use it to communicate self-harm behavior that is not a “suicide attempt,” such as seriously considering suicide, planning for suicide, or engaging in self-harm behavior without the intent to die”, and, therefore, “we should be especially careful not to extrapolate findings about suicide attempts among transgender adults to imply conclusions about completed suicide in this population.”

Leaving aside the obvious bad taste of laughing at people who have completed suicide – which is especially jarring given the prevalence of suicide amongst white men qua white men, especially those down on their luck, veterans, or suicides that don’t register as suicides because they get listed as drug overdoses or other deaths by misadventure – you’re just lying. You’re just a liar.
In addition, a little further digging reveals that those at the highest risk of suicide are living in violent, or potentially violent, high-stress situations: “30% of respondents who were physically attacked in a public place reported attempting suicide in the past year”, while “7% of those who were not similarly attacked reported past-year attempts.”
Suicide Thoughts and Attempts Among Transgender Adults
https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/publications/suicidality-transgender-adults/
That’s a very extreme difference, so it’s a safe inference that a major factor driving trans-specific suicide attempts is a justified perception that they will be physically attacked for being trans, if they haven’t been already.
In addition, this article neatly skips over the fact that while white men are about 31% of the U.S. population (as of 2014, that number has surely declined since) they account for 70% of the actual, completed suicides, not “suicide attempts.” Meanwhile, despite your uncited and speculative claim that transgenders, post-transition, find not just “old misery waiting for them, but a hell of a lot more”, “78% of respondents noting that living as a gender outside the one assigned at birth has increased their satisfaction in life”, according to a recent survey as reported by the WaPo
https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/03/23/transgender-adults-transitioning-poll/
In addition, as mentioned, you single out transgender adults specifically, whilst the meme number of 41% includes adults who identify as gender non-conforming. Interestingly, “The Post-KFF survey found that the majority of transgender adults, 62%, identify as non-binary versus only 33% identifying as a trans man or woman.”

To close on a pop-cultural notes: Do you really think someone like Contrapoints (“Natalie is loaded. There’s no way around it. Even if we count only what she makes on Patreon . . . she makes around 100K annually.” in a post from *four years ago.*) The audacity of someone using MICHAEL PALIN, who appeared in Monty Python – the most liberal, softy, bourgie, inoffensive show on British TV, who a Leopard Print jacket with an oversized sparkly gold bowtie – lecturing people about their gender identity is completely laughable. But, maybe, the decision to use that image wasn’t up to you.
The decision to write a deceitful article was, though.
Seeing as the edit button has stopped working, here’s Michael Palin being a paragon of Christian ‘healthy, traditional’ morality:

I am not going to refute your statistics from WaPo and The Guardian directly but if there really is a group of transsexuals who feel the switch has improved their lives perhaps this is due to the inordinate amount of attention and applause they’re now given. Not to mention the incredibly important sense of purpose given to their lives by joining the crusade against normality. Just because feeding a delusion makes the deluded feel better doesn’t mean he or she is any less deluded.
The inordinate amount of attention they are given is by the right-wing.
This could go over pretty well as a Monty Python sketch. It would be interesting to see what this would look like on a video.
