The fatal shooting of anti-ICE activist Renee Good in Minneapolis earlier this month provides an excellent focal point to demonstrate the stark difference between the Left and Right in today’s politics. The primary points of contention here are whether the shooting was justified and whether Ms. Good deserves sympathy. Answering such questions will reveal a lot about a person, and will aid quite handily in determining friends and enemies.

Basically, if you believe the shooting was justified and you are unsympathetic to the fate of the late Ms. Good, then you’re most likely on the Right. If you believe the shooting was unjustified and you sympathize with Ms. Good, then you’re probably on the Left. (more…)

During the Summer of Floyd, on July 1, 2020, a white couple accidentally bumped into a black family at the entrance of a Chipotle restaurant in Orion Township, Michigan, which is in Oakland County near Detroit — and their lives were changed forever. The blacks became hostile, threatened them, hurled racist abuse, and struck their car as they tried to pull out of the parking lot. At first the couple, Eric and Jillian Wuestenberg, tried to reason with the blacks, as a phone video clearly shows, but after Takelia Hill and her daughter charged at Jillian, who was pregnant at the time, Jillian pulled out a pistol in self-defense. The difference between a hero and a vigilante depends on whether you love or hate the person he killed.

Around 11:30 PM on Thursday, January 6 at the Ranchito #4 Taqueria in southwest Houston, either a hero or a vigilante fired nine bullets at a masked black man who was waving around what looked like a gun and demanding that patrons hand over their wallets to him.

A website that rates zip codes by their level of per-capita violent crime gave the zip code where the shooting occurred an “F,” stating that it was statistically more violent than 93% of the nation’s zip codes. (more…)

Kyle Rittenhouse now stands as a folk hero to many Americans, particularly conservatives. Any person with a functioning brain is astounded by how much of a farce the whole case is. The prosecution is essentially arguing that you have no right to defend yourself against a violent mob and you must allow them to beat or even shoot you. The right to self-defense apparently doesn’t apply in this situation. (more…)

On August 25th, Kyle Rittenhouse, a seventeen-year-old citizen-militia member, was attacked at least twice by a Black Lives Matter and Antifa mob during a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was armed with a rifle, and with it killed two of his attackers and injured a third. (more…)
