A little more than two years ago I published a piece on this site titled “I Keep Forgetting that I’m Not an American.” The occasion was Wikileaks’ release of “Vault 7” and the reaction from establishment Republicans. Vault 7 consisted of thousands of documents revealing the CIA’s ability to compromise smartphones and smart TVs, as well as Web browsers and even cars. As I mentioned in my essay from 2017, I greeted this news with elation: “The bastards have been exposed!” (more…)

Many Right-wing thinkers have already considered the question: Why do Right-oriented politics have such a difficult time gaining a foothold in Western societies? An important reason is the so-called cucken. What is cucken, exactly, and why is it relevant?
Cucken is the Dutch version of the English verb, “to cuckold.” (more…)
The Left is tensing up and bracing for a fight. We all know this. Brexit made them nervous. They find the Donald Trump presidency, with all its direct, masculine power, to be utterly intolerable. (more…)
The dying words of John C. Calhoun have always stuck with me, and not in a good way. On his deathbed in 1850, the former vice president and ardent advocate of slavery and states’ rights reportedly lamented, “The South! The poor South!” (more…)
Poor White Trash! Hillbillies! Rural poverty! It cannot have escaped your notice that we’re having a rash of stuff on this topic right now. Books, columns, thumb-sucking op-eds, talking-head concern-trolls nattering away on PBS NewsHour and Sunday morning chat-fests.
So far as I can tell, the genre first reared its head back in March of this year with a long-winded, digressive piece by Kevin Williamson in National Review (more…)
All Bark, No Bite:
Michael Walsh on the Frankfurt School
The Devil’s Pleasure Palace: The Cult of Critical Theory and the Subversion of the West
New York: Encounter Books, 2015
I had high hopes for Michael Walsh’s The Devil’s Pleasure Palace: a mini-history of the Frankfurt School and its pernicious effects on Western Civilization. This is a story that definitely needs to be told, even if the horse we’re beating has been dying for a while now. (more…)

Attack of the Paleosaurs
or The Dangers of Sectarianism in Politics
It appears that polemics against “white nationalism” have become quite the trend at Chronicles, the flagship publication of paleoconservatism. A couple weeks ago I responded to Aaron Wolf’s article “Incidentally White” at radixjournal.com, and now I discover that only a month earlier, editor Chilton Williamson, Jr. had produced a broadly similar piece under the title “White Like Me.” (more…)
Making Memes Memorable
Interview with “Uncuck The Right”
Dorin Alexandru interviews Alt-Right artist Uncuck The Right who parodies popular Disney movies with almost no budget, but a lot of talent.
Uncuck the Right is a man with a talent. Besides his uncanny ability to just cuck Disney’s shit up he’s a master of the memes. His parodies of popular Disney hits strike at home in the Alt-Right and pull us out of our often drab intellectualizing. (more…)

Clueless Canadian Cuckservatives Kicked to Curb Shining Pony Wins!
How about that Canadian election, eh?
I suspect that most Counter-Currents readers, including some residents of the former Dominion itself, would respond with a resounding “What?” or perhaps even a “Where? – are they still around?” (more…)
A cuckservative wooed the vote of Diego,
and married a dwarf from south of Laredo.
The Koch brothers offered him a lump,
and then along came Donald Trump
to put an end to Pinko correctness.
Careless with words? The effect was:
the return of our beloved free speech,
A caterpillar rests upon a twig,
With no intent to conquer earth or sky;
He merely wants to eat until he’s big
Enough to turn into a butterfly —
And on that day, he’ll think of flying high.
No soaring, tragic thoughts he entertains,
No hearty lust for trouble or for war;
He knows these things are never worth the pains
That could be spent on eating more and more —
At least until the time he’s waiting for. (more…)
