I had reservations over Zappa’s ’80s output being inferior to the magnificent run of albums in the prior decade, but then this fragment changed my mind:

While his small intestine is taking its sweet time to absorb an ingested red pill, IMO there is no better channel on YT concerning prog and its cultural significance than Andy Edwards. He’s argued that the cliche of punk killing prog is not really true and that in a clandestine fashion it ultimately saturated the greatest music of the 80s.
Not only is his Zappa output well considered, he very recently did a dive into the works of Colin Wilson on his alt channel.
May I say musical discussions like these, in moderation, are really great to hear. Let’s not forget Trevor Lynch’s movie reviews are the maybe the most potent vector to get inquisitive normies’ eyes onto C-C. Looking forward to the next chapter of Music to My Ears.
The troubling aspect of Vance is his in-laws behavior. His wife has direct relatives who run UC San Diego or San Diego St. Not sure which one. While administering that school this relative was a massive proponent of DIE and had the power to institute it.
Let’s just start with the bare minimum we need. White Nationalism is a long way away. For starters, as the ethnos that is the mark in the multi-racial society we need the bare minimum of explicit advocacy and representation as a specific ethnos in the halls of power. Yet Vance, has in-laws that have openly moved against our people and played a direct role in the pogrom and replacement of Our people in Our institutions. So forget White Nationalism. Let’s start with being represented as a major ethnic/racial group within Our country. We don’t even have that.
So, since that is essential to our well-being, can and will Vance be that for us? Has he renounced and rebuked his family members? Will his kids see this and what will they do? Likely they will participate in the Flight from White. Where does that leave us?
It leaves us still in search for even a single White man with real power, who will stop pretending in civic nationalism and colorblind meritocracy and who will say, ‘The American is a distinct race of people, this is a multi-racial democracy and as such Americans, like all of the other races in the scab labor camp of post-America, must have explicit representation as a race/ethnos in order to have power parity in a multi-racial democracy. I am that man. I am your man Heritage America. I am not going to pretend like everything is okay, and that someday the other groups will lay down their advantage and join you with a Coca-Cola and sing in perfect cooperative colorblind harmony. No. I am going to truly, Fight! Fight! Fight! for you, and I suggest you find a lot more White men like me who have no family members who are conflicted much less proven to have moved against you on racial grounds. I represent the American nation in North America. My first act will be to push for the expulsion of the Vance family in-laws from UC San Diego, and charge them and the university with violations of American Civil Rights laws by discriminating against all members of the Heritage American nation. If that sounds like a policy you support, then you should vote for me.’

We need to focus on building our very own 100% communities. Ozarkia, RTTL, etc. are but a few examples. We are breaking away. Embarking on our Breakaway Civilization in perpetuity. Trump is not saving us. Whomever occupies the White House fades in the rear view mirror. We have no choice. We are transitioning from a hated majority to a hated minority. Europeans created & built South Africa, only to get murdered & having to leave. Anyone thinks it cannot happen here? Where are we going to escape to?

According to Finland’s national public broadcasting company, Yle, Trump announced that the United States will admit 600 000 Chinese students. The goal is to improve relations with China. I am under the impression that this administration has lower levels of deportations than under Biden.
The whole Gavin Newsom fawning is just a meme, I think its above a lot of older people’s heads. Its purely a hatred for Vance, expressed through an ironic meme language. Just like the word “based” actually refers to black parlance of being high from freebasing cocaine. Propping up Newsom as a joke and quite funny. There is no need to overthink it. Its a creative attempt to stop Vance being the next candidate pick so we perhaps have something viable for nationalism.
Its to break this false dialiectic of a Vance vs Newsom. Vance should not even be part of the conversation. Trump is such an utter failure, we either need a serious nationalist or to not vote at all.
There is no political instrumental logic behind this. It is just clownish attention seeking. Fuentes is following the path of Spencer: trying to present supporting the Democrats as “based.”
There’s no reason to think that Fuentes will have any effect on an election as far out as 2028. He had no provable effect in 2024. How many of his increasingly brown followers are even in America or even old enough to vote?
Firstly, if its just clownish behavior of no political consequence, why is it worth talking about?

I think Fuentes is probably as influential as Charlie Kirk at TPUSA if not more. If he is able to meme Vance into being Jeb Bush, I say go for it.
And if you watch the actual streams themselves, hes not advocating for voting Democrat at all. Hes just having fun destroying Vance’s reputation.
This is a generational divide in tactics and energy. Ask Aarvoll what he thinks of Fuentes.
Because it is a distraction from serious political thinking and annoyingly pops up on my timeline.

There will not be any serious, open White nationalist running for president in the present joke of an electorial system: mass democracy. David Duke tried in 1987. How did that work out? He was entirely smeared and shut out by Jewish media. It was already way too late, way back then.

Exactly! What racially conscious White in his right mind actually believes our people will vote our way out of the mess in which we find our people? Local elections in White areas are still worthwhile, but that’s it.
I was talking to our brilliant, courageous pro-White attorney Sam Dickson yesterday. He and I are the same age and go way back. I first met him in Atlanta in 1986 when he was working with David Duke on a usual Jewish issue: the denial of a planned venue for a gathering due to Jewish pressure on the facility. We swapped war stories and had some good laughs — one, exchanging stories about how stupid the White electorate is to still support mass democracy as a possible solution: “Two wolves and a sheep voting for what’s for dinner.”

That’s how politics descended into a mere circus of partisan clowns trying to devour one another. All class and propriety thrown out the window, convergence to pure spectacle.
In Trump’s case, it’s related to his business and showbusiness background, and naturally, his personal character.
Newsom, on the other hand, can’t emulate that. When those fires were raging in Los Angeles, Newsom was visibly nervous, fumbling and smiling defensively. Trump would have stood there like an oak tree, with shameless confidence reframing whatever criticism was levelled at him. Trump may be an utter liar from time to time, but he’s never an insecure liar.
I think it’s hilarious. However, I have nothing but contempt for JD Vance so that’s probably why I approve. As others have noted, the pro-Newsom stuff isn’t really about Newsom so much as it is about Vance.
Although both Newsom and Vance both suck, policy wise, I do find Newsom to be the superior option, and that’s no joke. I think Vance is genuinely and objectively worse than Newsom and it’s not even close.
Besides, aesthetics counts for something. It’s messaging and branding. A picture is worth a thousand words. I think the contrast between Newsom’s Aryan family and Vance’s mixed one would be psychologically edifying for White Americans in 2028.
And the whole pro-Newsom meme stuff helps to center White racialists in the conversation on the national political stage.
I do understand if the whole meme isn’t exactly Greg Johnson’s cup of tea. I like both Counter Currents and America First. And I used to read Jim Goad even way back when he wrote for Taki. And I remember the hilarious CC era feud between he and Nick. As a fan of both, I found it quite funny on one hand; on the other hand, infighting is unfortunate, and it all got to be a little too mean-spirited for my taste.
I think it’d be good if Greg Johnson and Nick Fuentes could do an interview some day.
Basically, arguing vote for Newsom because his family is whiter comes off as a parody of “stupid racists.”
Most racists aren’t that stupid. Fuentes can keep the ones who are.
Maybe so, but I think we need more of the “stupid” racism that instinctually, unthinkingly, reflexively prefers its own kind to another. Overthinking has led me astray far more often than instinct and intuition ever have. Maybe we need to be a bit of the “stupid” caveman who says “ooga booga White good brown bad”. In essence, that’s the social schematic every other race uses – especially Jews – and it works for them.
No, “Vote for the sociopath who will put you in jail, he’s whiter” is just abysmally, unqualifiedly stupid.
If your characterization of Newsom is accurate (i.e., as a sociopath who will jail people with pro-White views), then yes to vote knowingly for such a one would, indeed, be stupid. However, I think that characterization is more likely to apply to a certain rotund race-mixer who has Peter “Palantir” Thiel as his patron.
The paranoid ideation around Thiel is embarrassing, to be honest.

In the featured photo of the Newsome family, it’s hilarious how much the off-white (blonde?) happily grinning dog at the front of the group resembles its human family. Now, what in the world is the girl in yhe black t-shirt holding in her arms?? A wolf? Another dog? A very cool purse/ backpack??
The blonde dog sort of reminds me of a political superstar from my Nashville days – Megan Berry. (“Berry” being her married name from her super-shit-Lib hubby) Mrs. Berry had that classic blonde-girl-next-door look; but alas, her political career was torpedoed when she was caught in a dalliance eith the head of her security detail ( also married!) She always reminded me of a happy-go-lucky Golden Retriever — same vibe.
The funny thing about Gavin Newsom and the Democrats is that their pro-immigration and illegal immigration policies also amount to a “Great Black Replacement” in the USA (not that I’m expecting American blacks to suddenly be our friends).
Apparently the 3 people who died in the “idiot turban” accident were Haitians.
