This is the number one issue holding up a rightist revolution. When I first heard of ‘cultural Marxism’ 11 years ago from Gottfried on Lew Rockwell, suddenly it all made sense. I tried in vain for years to get Cuckservatives to distinguish between the two, but it is futile. They call everything ‘communist, Marxist, socialist’ regardless.
Basically, ‘everything I don’t like is communism.’ When I pin them down on it by asking them how exactly is drag queen story hour ‘socialism,’ they reflexively become suspicious and shut down. They say I am a Democrat spy (a go-to in their quiver, especially regarding race: ‘you are just here to make us look bad so black lurkers wont vote GOP’) or they accuse me ‘of socialism’ as a metaphysical affront to them.
But the last few years have forced them to get closer and closer to admitting that Marxism and ‘woke’ are virtual opposites. They finally started calling it what it is: ‘woke capital’ as in capitalism. They simply can’t let go of their LOLberg priors. Yet their hand is being forced. All of these clownish ‘boycotts’ of their formerly beloved corporations has nothing to do with the government or socialism. It’s a private enterprise that is playing on the Cuckservative imbecility of ‘get woke, go broke.’ They take one bad quarter and then turn a massive profit by quarter 3, long after everybody forgets about the little stunt. They play Cuckservative high-time preference like a fiddle.
‘Woke’ (postmodernism, Frankfurt school etc) is not an offshoot of Marxism despite Gramsci having his roots in the communist party. It was a reappraisal and more efficacious strategy of internationalism. It’s why all of these post-punk 1990s bands used to wear ‘corporate America, maaaaan’ t-shirts 25-30 years ago, but now have Pfizer tattoos. It’s why Antifa LARPs as anarchistic revolutionaries despite being the hall monitors of the NWO shilling for lockdowns, bailouts and neocon wars.
Cuckservatives instantly accuse you of defending ‘REAL socialism’ (No True Scotsman) even though they reflexively do it with the RINO thing. I ask them how are they ever going to defeat the enemy if they can’t even identify it? These are the same people who ranted about naming the gay op called ‘radical Islamic terrorism,’ which conveniently no longer exists. They think all of these ideologies are mere synonyms: ‘fascism, socialism, woke…it’s all the same.’ Yet even an unscientific illiterate knows not to waltz into a laboratory and randomly start mixing unlabeled beakers because it will cause a chemical reaction. Why aren’t we still at war with the British Empire? They were the greatest enemy to American independence of all time. They razed the White House, turned the slaves and fellow colonists against us. But somehow Cuckservatives managed to forgive the UK, but can’t let go of the imaginary specter of communism long after the Cold War ended.
Well I’m glad other people see this problem. I get tired of Fox News and Charlie Kirk watchers calling everything communism. Woke capital is the correct description. Notice Don Jr now begging all his followers to please stop attacking the Anheiser Busch company. Apparently the whole trans marketing was just a “rouge” marketing exec. and that the upper execs had no knowledge of her ideas. 🥴 The truth is it’s hurting their friends who donate to GOP politicians and are probably personal pals. It’s always about money over country, people or culture with these buzzards.

Perhaps some enterprising film maker could make just such a movie. Given how the LotR cinematic mythos is constantly expanding, the project could be launched if enough of the Fellowship base were to take up the cause.

Can I make a brief suggestion?
If I’m enthusiastic about an upcoming show I like to listen to the live broadcasts on Saturday or Sunday so that I don’t have to wait until the recording becomes available on Tuesday.
My suggestion is to post your live show times in Greenwich Mean Time ─ GMT/UTC/Zulu/Zebra time, whatever you want to call it.
Also label what you mean for the local time in Standard Time or Daylight Time as appropriate for the season. Standard Time might be a default for aviators, but the patrons at the airport might be confused even if the reference given is technically correct.
GMT or UTC never switches an hour between the Summer or the Winter and then back again. This is hugely important.
For part of the year (i.e., in the Summer) a clock in the city of London will not show 12 PM exactly at High Noon (observatory). Instead it will locally be 1 PM when the observatory sundial points to High Noon.
With GMT or UTC, nobody ever has to guess if the time is actually depicted in Standard Time or Daylight Time. We can use the U.S. East Coast or West Coast clocks for convenience but we should not have to guess about what seasonal references we are *really* using.
Currently the U.S. East Coast and West Coast are on EDT and PDT, respectively. In the Winter they are on EST and PST, respectively.
Above for your show times you have:

That is a little confusing.
“Noon Pacific” means 11 AM right now ─ or did you really mean 1 PM? There is some redundancy with the time above also being given as “3pm EST” and 8pm (sic) in the UK ─ but we still have to guess a little about whether the show really starts correctly at 3 PM (EST) aka 4 PM (EDT) ─ or if it might really mean “3pm EDT” in spite of the EST reference. It is not 8 PM in the UK when it is Noon in California in the Summertime unless we are speaking about two respective sundials.
Either way, even if we are visiting the UK, most of us are not referencing sundials but actual clocks in use. At least be consistent with the references given.
Why are you talking about Standard Time at all right now? Only the state of Arizona has year-round Standard Time.
This means that currently the clocks in Phoenix are the same as Seattle, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas for this time of year ─ and in the Winter, we are the same as Salt Lake City, Denver, and Santa Fe. But we never change ─ they do.
Amateur Radio operators, aviators, and the military do GMT aka UTC all the time. It is not rocket science. Always label a particular time zone and exactly what system you are using. “Noon” in a particular time zone might be 12 PM, but it might not be that on an actual local clock.
I’ve found that the least confusion is from giving the local time in ST or DT as appropriate for the season (and appropriately labeled).
And then, for redundancy and to help people in other time zones, give the GMT/UTC time (i.e., the observatory sundial time in London) which never changes seasonally (or when referenced anywhere in the world).
You can easily substitute New York or Los Angeles for London, but you still have to make sure whether you are or are not *really* accounting for the season.

I was late to the podcast and so will have to listen to it in full after Tuesday.
It is a current trend in the Alt-Right or Dissident Right ─ whatever they are calling themselves now ─ to complain about Boomers and their f@king Cold War obsessions with “Commies.” I somewhat disagree.
A Commie with the mask off is basically little different if you are talking about a trust-fund Antifa punk who wants to “punch a Nazi” at a Confederate monument rally or a BLM riot ─ or if they are a card-carrying Jewish Bolshevik who wants to bayonet a Kulak for having an extra sack of potatoes in his root cellar. Dr. Goebbels understood this.
Communism and Capitalism are both race-mixing internationalist movements and two sides of the same coin.
But that too is an oversimplification. I try to avoid the word Socialism unless I am being specific about something particular regarding economics or government. GLR did not fear the word socialism and he kept free-enterprise in perspective. I also personally prefer the beloved term “Nazi” over National Socialist but I will use either.
Paul Gottfried and Richard Spencer are credited with coining the term Alt-Right, meaning “alternative” or “old” depending on who you talk to.
Paul Gottfried is a Jewish Libertarian. Whether he is amicable to the Right or not, it does not change that his brand of paleo-Conservatism is intentionally Kosher ─ even if he might not share the Neoconservative/Zionist obsession with security theater, internationalism, and banker imperialism.

And that is why his brand is wrong. The most important ideology is Race and Culture/Civilization ─ and a State that focuses on promoting the “General Welfare” of that, and not necessarily focusing on economics or class or even technology. This does not mean that economics and technology and class are not important to a nation and its people, of course. It also does not mean that class-warfare is a good thing in general. Unlike the Marxists, the Nazis understood that class-warfare was a cancer and not an engine of progress.
It is also not a question of Big Gubbamint or less “government.”
And both the NY “Alphabet Soup” regime plutocrats Franklin Delano Roosevelt and (((Henry Morgenthau, Jr.))) were extreme agricultural romanticists who considered themselves to be authentic Jeffersonian Democrats ─ so it is not that, either.
Marx was an economic historian who wanted to define People/Volk not in terms of Race or White folks or European Culture/Civilization, but in strictly economic terms ─ and ideally History itself through the cycloptic lens and Leitmotiv of the Class Struggle.
Marxist political and economic ideology is of course nonsense, but it does not mean that Cultural Marxism does not exist ─ or Cultural Bolshevism, as I might prefer to call it.
When the Commie mask falls off, the enemy is the same whether he rides to the BLM riot in a limousine with a license plate that says “Stonks 3” or if he/she/it is a tatted up and pierced teacher’s aide in a tranny dress who takes a pedal-powered microbus to the Anarchist happening.
Furthermore, obsessing incoherently about the Joos or Vatican II, as some Orthodox and Trad Caths do, is not helpful politically. I consider the Churchmen and the Afterworldsmen to be mostly backwards, and the celibate clergy to be inherently degenerate, but that is just my opinion. White people have the right to be Christians if they so desire, and for as long as they want to be, as far as I’m concerned.
In any case, I do think history shows that the backwardness of the Russian Orthodox Church and their Holy Tsar contributed as much to the Bolshevik disaster as did Lenin and (((Trotsky))). In the long view, Christians don’t have a history of credibly “fighting the Joos.”
This is nothing new. I cringe when I hear people use the term “Modernity” (oh the humanity) to explain the problems we face.
My suggestion is that Christians follow their own venerable tradition of the Separation of Church and State and leave their religion out of it. Too much Western blood has been spilled in sectarian fratricide, and it is a huge stretch in any case to ascribe it ALL to the you-know-whos.
Yeah, (((they))) do deserve to be called out ─ nobody is above criticism ─ and the JQ must at least be on the table for discussion.
Also, regardless of what you feel about the World War II disaster and the Nazis, the fact that what is called Holocaust Denial is criminalized in nearly every Western country today should be considered an existential threat to Nationalism in general and to authentic White Nationalism in particular.
Many White Nationalists seem slow to appreciate this. Revisionism is merely part of a historical method, just as Science is a METHOD and not a canon of dusty tomes, or whatever the New York Times and the Washington Post say that it is.
I don’t want to say that eschewing Revisionism helps donations by not rubbing that sore. But even if it did, the important point is that nobody is above criticism and debate, and certain essential “Kosher” problems are not going away ─ and they are legitimate questions, historically and otherwise.
Even when academics and staff councils and whatever Commie/DIE fellow-travelers on campus label (((Dennis Praeger))) or RINOs as “White Nationalists,” it does not make them authentically White Nationalists. I don’t follow Charlie Kirk or whether he calls himself a White Nationalist, but I do know that Dennis Praeger does not use that term. Praeger believes that the ADL should be the arbiter for legitimate history, which is classic Kosher Conservatism and about as far away from White Nationalism as it gets.
However, it does aim to shut people up in lieu of actual argument when someone doesn’t want to overtly countersignal the “idea” of free-speech.
Just because I might not agree with everything that Mr. Gottfried says does not mean that I necessarily want to gas him. (((Herbert Marcuse))) and the Frankfurt School you-know-whos on the other hand, maybe I might chamber a fresh round for them ─ whether they think I’m a Fascist or not.
I would have a hard time having a civil discussion with a Marcuse in his lifetime, but any time there can be a legitimate discussion, at least I might not have to crack open a fresh can of heavy industrial fumigant.
Furthermore, little irritates me more than edgy Libertarians, ex-Leftists, anti-Federalist apologists, and Trad Latin Rite or Orthodox Christians that seem to think that they can’t be called out for stupidity just because they’ve dabbled in a little edgy Rightwing something or other. Stupid might or might not be certified Kosher ─ but if it is stupid, it remains stupid.
In the April 4, 2023 Chronicles article “Marx Was Not Woke,” by Paul Gottfried, he says:
“Wokeism arises out of the failure of liberalism, not out of the theory of Marxism.”
This is true but it also misses the forest for the trees.
It is correct because Marxist Communism is considered by sociologists and Modern progressives to be rational outgrowths of Classical Liberalism and “ethical” economic-rationalism.
In contrast, Fascism or National Socialism is considered by them to be an inegalitarian appeal to emotion, and a virulent racial and sexual bigotry that is at best non-rational politically and economically.
I would put White Nationalism solidly on the Right in favor of civilized authority and Race, but then I am not a Jewish Libertarian or an edgy Red-pilled podcaster who just discovered Fascism.
Again, I have not even listened to the program yet and I am not criticizing present company at Counter-Currents. I just see the problem here as outlined by Gottfried and some edgy podcasters as a distinction without a difference.
