There’s only one word for GH—genius! He’s one of the only minds on the alt right on a level I don’t think I could even achieve. Too bad his destiny seems to be tethered separately from ours…
Agree about Burnham and the machirlvellians. Most political books like Lasch, etc, I find boring and fall off to dozing, but that book I find engrossing on multiple readings.
Let’s look at the decision overturning of Roe vs Wade in Machiavellian terms, without any sentiment regarding abortion per se.
Two observations:
1) The anti-abortion movement has seized the initiative. For the first time in years, the Left has been thrown onto the defensive over a major issue. The ensuing fireworks are worth the price of admission.
2) Within the span of days, several states consolidated the Supreme Court decision by outlawing abortion. Think nationally, act locally.
There needs to be more examination of the tactics used by the anti-abortion movement and how they can be applied by national-populists. Perhaps a similar campaign can be launched against affirmative action. There’s plenty of room for alliances with Christian nationalists.
It’s not the issue per se. Rather, it’s how the issue can be used as a tactic to force hostile elites into a reactive mode so they are not pushing their agenda. And then national-populists implement their own agenda.
This is one reason the national divorce meme is useful. There is the possibility of getting the Left to advocate for secession of “Blue” states so they can guarantee in their own homeland the regime they have been pushing since the commencement of the Age of Entitlement. And the ensuing “Red” America would be in a much better position to push pro-White policies.
Whether or not the United States breaks up along Red and Blue lines, or into a White ethnostate and Clown Country is not quite the point. The point is to delegitimize the Regime.
“Let’s look at the decision overturning of Roe vs Wade in Machiavellian terms, without any sentiment regarding abortion per se.” — well put.
One has to wonder a bit what all the fuss is about though. SCOTUS didn’t make it illegal. It merely removed it as a constitutional right. It’s a state matter now. In states where it is legal and where it will probably always remain legal, why march, why yell, why riot? Maybe it has to do with what Judge Thomas said on Friday that many Americans are more “interested in what they want rather than what is right as a country.”
For myself, I’m hoping that there is a “Best Week Yet” on Counter-Currents and that the “overturning of Roe vs Wade” makes the cut. The possibilities, as you suggest, are tantalizing.
In the shorter term, the possibility of SCOTUS using this as the first in a series of rollbacks is particularly delicious with respect to same-sex marriage for instance. Maybe the judges will have a majority soon or after that to finally weigh in on (and against) the worst thing to come along since… I can’t even think of anything worse than it: transgenderism. For they all stand together, and bolster each other up. And if you given an inch, they take a yard… We see it now. We knew it before.
If we can also disallow flying the Pride flag — on the same pole — as the American flag at U.S. Embassies, I’d be immensely unashamed for a small period of time. But that’s an executive choice that won’t happen anytime during this administration.
Correction:
FROM “what Judge Thomas said on Friday” (the article I read is from Friday)
TO “what Judge Thomas said in his documentary Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words from 2020″
Blue state secession is key. If New York or California left the union, we would have a much better chance of turning the rest of the country around.
