The captured Slavs were pagan. The Christians were Irish thralls captured and taken to Iceland along with some Slavs. So the historical veracity holds fast. The research behind this film is second to none in my view.
I haven’t watched the film yet. But it seems interesting
I wonder, speaking of the vikings: Arthur Herman has a recent book out called “The Viking Heart”. Perhaps you at C-C would be interested in it.
