In preparation for my first visit to Rome, I recently watched a documentary about the Sistine Chapel. It explained how the frescoes on the southern wall depict scenes from the life of Moses, while those on the northern wall show the life of Christ — all paired in deliberate, meaningful ways. The European Heritage: The Question of Paganism
On this particular point, I refer to the article “The Religion of Europe”, which appears in the selection of ND texts and summarizes the fundamental lines of Alain de Benoist’s book Comment peut-on être païen? However, to complement these reflections, the following remarks from de Benoist himself are included. (more…)

Holy Europe
North Augusta, SC: Arcana Europa, 2024
Several years ago, a curious incident occurred at Rennes-le-Château, the mysterious church in Southern France that partially inspired the bestsellers Holy Blood, Holy Grail and The DaVinci Code. Earlier in 2024, Counter-Currents conducted the first ever internal poll of the movement with 540 respondents. This is the first in a series of reports detailing the findings, some of which will be published, others which will be reserved only for select movement leaders. The purpose of this report is to identify what types of people are most open to our ideas, how our ideas spread, what tactics work best on different types of people, and what are the most common barriers which need to be surmounted. I started to seriously observe Lent with my grandmother on my mom’s side of the family about 15 years ago. She was Eastern Orthodox, and I am too – or at least I was baptized as such as a baby. On Fat Tuesday I usually stop eating around lunch. I fast on Ash Wednesday with no food, just water and black coffee. Then, sometime on Thursday I break the fast and start my Lenten restrictions (or Lenten sacrifice). (more…)
Giles Corey; Preface by Kevin MacDonald
The Sword of Christ
Deus Vult, 2020; soon to be reprinted by Antelope Hill
Does Christianity help or hinder, in the words of Sam Francis, “the efforts of the Right to defend the European-American way of life”? According to Giles Corey, that is the Christian Question (p. 2), and The Sword of Christ is his attempt to defend Christianity as not merely compatible with, but essential to, white European civilization. In his statement of “Mission,” Corey makes clear that he is writing for two audiences: (more…)

Throughout the North, the ground still lies beneath a blanket of snow, and springtime seems a distant memory. Yet now, at the midway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, signs of nature’s rebirth are starting to appear: cold mornings give way to sunny, warm afternoons, grasses and blossoms begin to emerge, and the sound of birdsong once again fills the forest. The time of snow and ice is not yet past and the Earth still lies dormant — but she is starting to awaken.
The first weeks of February were of special significance to our European ancestors, and a number of holy days, now largely forgotten, took place at this time: (more…)
After a summer hiatus, John Morgan and Survive the Jive join Fróði Midjord on the latest Guide to Kulchur to discuss Midsommar, a recently-released movie about a group of American anthropology students and a deeply traumatized woman who visit a neo-pagan cult practicing a faith based on the ancient Nordic religion in present-day Hälsingland, Sweden, where they discover that the cult’s interest in them goes far beyond the merely academic.
