William Luther Pierce was born on September 11, 1933 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. He died on July 23, 2002 in Mill Point, West Virginia of cancer. Pierce earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Rice University and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Colorado, Boulder. From 1962 to 1965, Pierce was Assistant Professor of physics at Oregon State University, but he left academia to work full time for white racial preservation.
In 1966, Pierce moved to the Washington, D.C. area to work with George Lincoln Rockwell and the National Socialist White People’s Party. Pierce edited the NSWPP’s theoretical journal National Socialist World. After Rockwell was assassinated in 1967 by a disaffected follower, Pierce worked with Willis Carto’s National Youth Alliance. In 1974, Pierce founded the National Alliance, which he led until his death.
The National Alliance was a political membership organization that aimed to become the vanguard of a White Nationalist revolution in North America and around the world. The Alliance’s work was primarily metapolitical. National Vanguard Books published books and maintained an excellent, wide-ranging book catalog. The Alliance also published National Vanguard magazine and other periodicals. Pierce’s American Dissident Voices broadcasts reached a world-wide audience. Pierce’s commitment to metapolitics was so thoroughgoing that he even founded the religion of Cosmotheism to provide philosophical and spiritual foundations for the National Alliance’s work. But the Alliance did not neglect the other fundamental branch of metapolitics: community organizing. The Alliance also worked to foster local National Alliance groups and to educate a leadership cadre.

One of the greatest men that ever lived.
Greg, I recall you saying in an article about Pierce that you assessment of him from his writing was that he was a monster, similar to Lenin and Stalin. You then implied, but did not state, that you revised your assessment of him after meeting him and having a discussion about Cosmotheism.
I am interested to know whether you still consider him a monster? I ask this because that was the conclusion I came to when I read him and frankly it bothers me that he is so widely lauded amongst White Nationalists. I thank God he never got his hands anywhere near the levers of power.
I am still glad he never got anywhere near real political power.
Surely, you exaggerate, Greg? I agree that Pierce wouldn’t have been the ideal leader or social architect – but do you honestly think that the jew-run, multicultural, feminist, war-on-whites society we have now is better?
Actually, did Lenin and Stalin openly preach genocide before they came to power, or did they simply decide on that path when they became powerful? I’ve heard quotes from Lenin that sound genocidal, many fewer from Stalin. Pierce would perhaps have been worse than them.
I have great respect for Dr. Pierce. I had the privilege to meet him back in the 90’s at the NA office in West Virginia. I was a member of the NA then, but had never corresponded personally with Dr. Pierce. When I met him and introduced myself, he knew exactly who I was and what I did for a living. I thought that was quite impressive for someone who had as many “irons in the fire” as he did…not to mention his age. He has been criticised for not being more successful, but who else has done even as much as Dr. Pierce did?? I also think that some of his “rants” and novels were the product of the frustration that all of us feel as we see our people and culture being deliberately genocided, particularly when the vast majority of Europeans are blissfully (and often times intentionally), ignorant of the danger we are in. Much of what Dr. Pierce wrote, and the recordings he made will serve us well into the future as more and more of our people emerge from the Jewish-created parallel universe in which we now live. I am sorry that Dr. Pierce didn’t live to see the day when sanity will return to the White world. I sincerely hope that all of us do!

Pierce was an absolutist visionary, like Nietzsche, Marx, and other strategic thinkers. The visionary’s effect on History becomes apparent only decades after his death. If White Western Civilization survives the coming storm, Pierce’s vision will be a large part of the reason why.
