Around 20 years ago, when the Somali pirates started popping up in the news, I was intrigued because you don’t expect to hear that black people are into boating.
Not that I’m much of a seafarer myself — when I recently heard that Barack Obama’s former White House chef “tragically drowned during a paddleboarding excursion in Martha’s Vineyard” on Monday evening, July 24, I didn’t even know what “paddleboarding” was. (more…)

There is a deep, hermetic lore known only to cultural insiders, a small circle of academics, and a handful of social rogues[1] — namely, the lore of the often-tense relationships between white gays and blacks in those urban neighborhoods that exist in the liminal realm between “ghetto” and “gentrified.”
I first noticed this as a child going to work with my dad in the early 1990s. Several neighborhoods in Columbus, Ohio were undergoing a sort of transformation. (more…)

Part 3 of 4 (Part 1 here, Part 2 here, Part 4 here)
The Negro and Psychopathology
This one is the longest chapter, about double the size of most of the others. Fortunately, it’s actually a bit relatable here and there; not entirely bitching and moaning. It begins by explaining that neurosis comes from bad upbringing — your basic Freud 101. (more…)

Part 2 of 2 (Part 1 here)
In all cases not involving a fully-fledged occupying army, as with Russia after its Civil War ended and with the United States currently, the hostile elites, be they native or alien, who wish to subjugate a population do so by achieving what I call the Stalin clap effect (SCE). This is named after the Soviet dictator’s unwritten policy, as reported by Solzhenitsyn, of sending the first person to stop clapping after one of his speeches to the Gulag: (more…)

While I was a student, I had a part-time job at an investment firm paying five whole dollars an hour! (Wow!) Then the company folded; lawyers, to make a very long story short. This left me scrambling to stay afloat during the recession that was beginning to unfold in 1990. The best I could find was a part-time fast-food gig, which for many people is the employment of last resort. But as far as diversity goes, I was living the dream.
I told the story about this wonderful job, and several others which instilled my love for contemporary capitalism, on my free web host account. (more…)

As Black History Month slowly creeps up on us like four straight weeks of rape and basketball, I find it incumbent to remind everyone that since a strict definition of “history” means “events that were recorded” rather than simply “events that happened,” there is very little actual history from sub-Saharan Africa because its denizens were so hopelessly backwards, they never got around to inventing simple things such as written languages with which to record the things that were happening around them. It is difficult for people to accept harsh realities after exposure to the truth, but at some point, one must embrace the facts of life. Early in life, I was taught by discerning adults that blacks have a different psychology from other races. Though such arguments were intriguing, I viewed them as sweeping generalizations. (more…)

Beware the Ides of June
Under British parliamentary rules, a vote of no confidence in a Prime Minister is similar to a recall vote in the United States, but it is the members of the incumbent PM’s parliamentary party — 359 Conservative MPs, in this case — who vote, and not the people. The peons only get to vote in general elections, where their choice is essentially between two brands of the same soap powder. (more…)
