Adolescence is the stubborn turd that just won’t flush. Here in its country of origin, the United Kingdom, the dismayingly popular Netflix series about so-called “toxic masculinity” is still dominating the mainstream news agenda, over a month after it was first released. The leader of the opposition Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, has been repeatedly criticized by interviewers for not having watched it herself, leading Kemi to explain that “in the same way that I don’t need to watch [the abysmal BBC hospital soap opera] Casualty to know what’s going on in the NHS, I don’t need to watch a specific Netflix drama to understand what’s going on” in terms of knife-crime. [1]
Meanwhile, the current governing Labour Party Education Secretary, Bridget Phillipson, has used the show as justification for her plan to employ more male teachers (of a certain specific, testicle-free kind) in British schools, on account of the alleged fact that the rampant misogynistic behavior of white schoolboys is the “defining issue of our time”, as opposed to, say, the inexorable twin rises of China and Islam, or the ongoing Great Replacement.
As already mentioned on this website (here and here) and by myself elsewhere (here and here) the series, which deals with the stabbing to death of a 13-year-old white schoolgirl by a 13-year-old “incel” white schoolboy who has been frequenting online “manosphere” sites on his phone, is not very realistic in terms of its demographics. One of the real-life cases the show was based on involved a black London schoolboy stabbing a black London schoolgirl to death over a teddy-bear. Another involved a transsexual schoolboy merely dressed as a schoolgirl, being stabbed by another (biologically real) schoolgirl, who possessed a kill-list of future intended victims, every last one of whom was male. And yet the ‘teachable lesson’ to be drawn was somehow that the true problem here was toxic white masculinity.
Femmes Fatalities
Adolescence has not only been a critical and ratings success in Britain and America, though. The show is doing well in France, too, where a lady named Stephanie Lamy, “a researcher specializing in information warfare” (in that she practices it herself), has jumped on its success to publicize her 2024 book The Masculinist Terror. Lamy has been repeatedly used by the left-leaning national media to explain to grateful journalists how the true demographic in France who need to be steered away from sharp objects are not the country’s many stab-happy Muslims, as one may expect, but generic “young males” who have been radicalized online by dangerous manosphere stars like the infamous Andrew Tate (a mixed-race Muslim convert himself, but never mind).
Leading French broadsheet Le Monde carried a prominent interview with Lamy, rather inaccurately headlined “Masculinism: The series Adolescence reflects reality, with all that’s bad about it”. Some may say the series reflects the precise reverse.
In another interview, with the French version of The Huffington Post, Lamy explained how: “The power of masculinist narratives [put out by influencers like Tate] is to offer a scapegoat toward which to direct their [i.e., teenage boys’] anger” in the shape of women. This is an interesting analysis, as it rather tends to obscure the fact that white boys like the fictional Jamie in the TV show are the actual despised demographic who are being offered up as convenient scapegoats for all of society’s many modern-day ills by today’s mass media, particularly for the increasing amount of knife-crime across Western Europe.
Rather than providing readers of the above two outlets with the demographically correct scapegoats they don’t want to blame for this epidemic – i.e., Muslims and other such disproportionately violent immigrants – Mme Lamy prefers to reassure liberals that the true problem is simply one of outdated, heteronormative, right-wing masculine gender-roles, which must be eliminated from French families immediately lest their sons suddenly start slaying every woman in sight:
HUFF POST: Are there typical profiles of adolescents more likely to be attracted to these discourses?
LAMY: As with any form of radicalization, a certain prior permeability is necessary. If a young boy is raised in an environment where equality is not questioned, where gender diversity is taken for granted, where empathy is developed, where he is aware of his privileges, he will probably be less receptive to this idea [of randomly killing women] … The position of fathers is essential: they must step back and allow their mother’s discourse to take up as much space as their own. We also need, as parents, to deconstruct our own sexist dynamics within the couple, because this is the breeding ground on which masculinist discourse is built.
There is no “masculinist discourse” inherent in Islam, of course, is there? Perish the very thought!
Lola and The Kinks
Katie, the student stabbed to death in Adolescence, is a 13-year-old blonde white girl. Who is the real-life child-murder victim in France whose age and ethnic appearance most closely matches that of Katie from recent years? It is surely the almost stereotypically angelic 12-year-old child-gymnast Lola Daviet, who was found dead in a suitcase in Paris in October 2022. The alleged culprit (not yet gone to trial) was not an evil white male Andrew Tate fan, however, but a female Algerian Muslim named Dahbia Benkired. Born in Algiers, Black Dahbia came to France legally in 2016 on a student visa, but this had long since expired and she should have been deported – but, as usual, this did not actually occur, thus making her an illegal immigrant.
Initially, Benkired confessed to the crime, which was seemingly of a kinky sexual nature, admitting she had lured Lola into an apartment, forced the child to lick her vagina, then placed duct-tape over the girl’s face, causing asphyxiation. Lola was also stabbed multiple times. Then, the child’s corpse had been part-decapitated, folded up, and jammed into a suitcase-cum-coffin. During police interviews, Benkired kept flitting between admitting and denying guilt, sometimes saying it had all been just a dream, or else that the true killer had been a ghost (surely a djinn?). This allowed her lawyer to deny Lola’s murder was racially motivated, maybe planning to go down the whole “insanity plea” route for his client.
A large proportion of the French public (i.e., many of the white ones) disagreed with this assessment, however, and were placed into further fury when President Emmanuel Macron’s initial response, upon the very day prosecutors announced Benkired as the main suspect, was to put out a tone-deaf tweet commemorating the 61st anniversary of dozens of Algerian protestors (or supporters of the terrorist group FLN, in an alternative interpretation) being beaten or drowned to death at the hands of French security services in 1961.
To some, it seemed like the French state now cared more about long-dead Algerians from six decades ago than it did about French schoolgirls newly-slain at the hands of different Algerians today. As a result, alleged “far right” (as the mainstream media had it) demonstrators took to the street bearing emotive placards of Lola’s blonde, white face, and banners reading “THE STATE KILLED ME” because, in effect, it had.
But Gérald Darmanin, France’s Interior Minister, disagreed, decrying the supposed co-option of Lola’s death as a form of cynical and exploitative propaganda by the evil goosestepping white supremacist neo-Nazis out on parade. Worse, he actually began expressing sympathy for the “difficult childhood” of the murderer herself! It can’t have been as “difficult” as poor Lola’s own childhood ended up.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Macron continued to further demonstrate his impeccable political judgement by putting out a further tweet congratulating the prominent Franco-Algerian soccer star Karim Benzema for winning the annual Ballon d’Or award for Europe’s best player. This was despite the fact Benzema had recently given an interview seemingly crowing that he only deigned to play for France at international level because they had a far better team than Algeria did, thus giving him more opportunity to win the game’s biggest prizes: “Algeria is my country, France is just for the sporting side.”
It almost seemed as if, when confronted with mass public unrest over a clear case of a white French child being murdered by a brown Algerian adult, the PR machinery of the Fifth Republic was going into overdrive to try an remind a “misguided” citizenry of the true positive and valuable contributions that Algerians had contributed towards the country as a whole – the best examples they could come up with being some dead 1960s terrorist-sympathizers and an ungrateful, France-baiting soccer player with a previous conviction for blackmailing one of his own team-mates over a sex-tape.
A Blanc Check To Murder
A rare politician speaking any actual sense was Éric Zemmour, leader of the Reconquête (Reconquest) Party, who supposedly “exploited” the situation to coin a catchy new term for the killing of French people by imported outsiders, “francocide”. Zemmour may have done better to more plainly call it “blancocide”, however, given that the particular French citoyens being slaughtered on an ethno-racial basis were white ones, not blacks from the Ivory Coast or Berbers from North Africa.
For this, Zemmour was decried as a racist – not a “neo-Nazi” or “white supremacist”, do note, this particular accusation could not be made to stick, as Zemmour is Jewish – with no less than the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, condemning the new term as follows in 2023: “This is hate speech and I hope nobody will use it.” Grandi was concerned that the word “francocide” could lead to the inaccurate “demonizing [of] migrants or refugees as French-hating murderers.” Unfortunately for the High Commissioner on Refugees, however, a Syrian refugee then promptly stabbed six European holidaymakers, four children and two adults, at a resort in the French Alps, leading Zemmour to repeat his accurate new coinage at every available opportunity.
So popular did Zemmour’s neologism become that it was soon felt necessary for “fact-checking” articles to be written explaining why the whole concept did not even exist, bearing headlines like “Lola’s murder: why the term “francocide”, used by Éric Zemmour, does not cover any factual or legal reality”. The basic argument of such articles was rather interesting, in light of the current French furor over Adolescence. As toxic white masculinity is the current agreed-upon social scapegoat to be subjected to daily bouts of Orwellian two-minutes hate by the leftist establishment, a term similar to francocide has also been coined in recent years, namely “femicide’” used to automatically refer to the murder of any woman whatsoever, no matter what its motives may have been.
This catch-all term serves two key simultaneous purposes. For one, it seeks to transform all women into members of a sisterhood of perpetual victimhood, thus to persuade females to vote for left-wing parties who will give them a guaranteed place at the intersectional power-carving table as representatives of yet another persecuted minority group. By deliberately conflating cases where a killing really is motivated by pure male hatred with more ambiguous cases where a female has been killed to steal her property or whatever, it can thereby be made to seem as if there is a global war against women being waged by the oppressive male patriarchy.
Secondly, it acts to obscure the fact that rather a large number of femicides around the globe are motivated not by general male hatred of women, but by specific Islamic hatred of them. Right now in France, there is a trial ongoing of a French-Algerian husband, Mounir Boutaa, who, after beating his wife, and forcing her to wear the veil even when in her own back garden (hard to sunbathe in that, one would have thought), reportedly shot her in both legs before burning her alive. The case has caused feminist outrage in France … but only as a case of generic “femicide”, and illustration of Adolescence-style “toxic masculinity”, not as a plain example of the kind of attitudes being imported into the country by the boatload due to uncontrolled immigration from Islamic lands.
Interestingly, the cunning linguist Éric Zemmour had paid attention to this curious verbal phenomenon, admitting he specifically based his coinage of “francocide” upon the feminists’ own prior successful coinage of the word “femicide”. If they could do it, why couldn’t he? Many outraged feminists were wheeled out by the French media to explain why not, their main reason being “Because his points are right-wing, not left-wing like our own!”
According to Nadia Makouar, “a linguist specializing in the analysis of political, media and legal discourse” with a tellingly non-Gallic name, the word “femicide” was a real one, as it “is the result of documented observations, which led to the creation of the word.” The word “francocide” was a fake word, though, because it “is based on an intention to make people believe that any murder of a French person by an immigrant is intentionally a racist misdeed.” This, said Makouar, would only lead to the creation of “a more exclusionary discourse” in the country. Well, as “a linguist specializing in the analysis of political, media and legal discourse”, you’d expect her to be fluent in racial Newspeak, wouldn’t you?
For Karine Bourdié, Co-President of France’s Association of Criminal Lawyers, Zemmour’s new term was “not far from inciting racial hatred” because it created a “hierarchy of human lives that borders on [white] supremacist theories.” If so, then maybe the term “femicide” is an example of female supremacism, because that creates a “hierarchy of human lives” too, but one based upon gender, which is apparently OK. In any case, how is it “supremacist” not to want members of your own race to be killed just because of their skin color? Isn’t that just normal?
La Haine That Dare Not Speak Its Name
The outraged France Télévisions article from which I take the above quotes also includes the following exceedingly disingenuous paragraph:
In a tweet calling for a demonstration in memory of young Lola … [Zemmour] cites the first names of Timothy, Laura and Mauranne, whom he also considers victims of a ‘Francocide’. The first was stabbed by an Afghan man in his thirties in 2019, who was found last March to be criminally irresponsible because of his psychiatric disorders. Laura and Mauranne, two cousins aged 20 and 22, were murdered by a terrorist at the Saint-Charles train station in Marseille in 2017. The only thing these homicides have in common is that they were committed by foreigners, in very different contexts and for very different reasons.
Well if that’s so, then there’s no such thing as femicide either, is there? Thousands of women are killed worldwide every year, but these crimes also take place “in very different contexts and for very different reasons”, not simply because evil non-woke white schoolboys have been watching too much Tate on TikTok. If one woman is stabbed to steal her jewelry, and another is shot with a silver bullet because her slayer is mentally ill and thinks she’s a werewolf, then those are two very different motives, neither of which involve the pure hatred of women per se. Yet their existence does not invalidate the existence of femicide itself in a wider sense, in terms of Jack the Ripper-style sex-crimes perpetrated through pure hatred of the weaker sex.
Likewise, just because some murders of white French people by foreigners might be simple muggings for money, where race is irrelevant, this does not mean that acts of pure francocide/blancocide do not co-exist alongside them, as pure expressions of black, brown or Muslim hatred for white people. It is just that, in our current climate, the blancophobic mass media would prefer not to admit it.
Another white Frenchwoman threatened with francocide of late is Marie-Hélène Thoraval, the mayor of a place called Romans-sur Isère, whom local Muslims have repeatedly promised to kill, on account of her supposedly spreading lies about their propensity for violence towards white people – a “lie” they chiefly hoped to disprove thus: “I received a private message on Instagram saying that they were planning to decapitate me, that they would juggle with my skull, and that it would all be done within a month.”
Romans-sur Isère is a town in southern France, which contains a so-called “sensitive neighborhood” (i.e., an ungovernable Muslim ghetto) called La Monnaie, from which, in November 2023, a group of non-white youths of primarily North African heritage ventured out armed with knives to attack a teenage dance-party being held in the village-hall of the small rural village of Crépol. According to multiple witness testimony and footage of the assault, the Muslims specifically said “We are here to kill white people” before stabbing one 16-year-old boy named Thomas Perotto to death, wounding several others, and severing the fingers of a doorman who had tried to keep them out.
Subsequent analysis of the social media accounts of the suspects (whose trial has not yet taken place), several of whom were already known to the police for the usual expected offenses, revealed anti-French, anti-white messages like the following: “I love my country, long live the [French social security welfare check system] … the free dentist, but I don’t like the French” and, following the murder of Perotto, “I’ll tell you the truth I don’t give a fuck and it doesn’t make me sad … You think I’m going to cry over one death? Bunch of cunts.” [2] Further footage and witness testimony appears to reveal the alleged assailants calling their white victims “fucking gwer” or “céfran”, terms roughly akin to “Honkies” or “French scum”.
Well, all that sounds pretty conclusive, doesn’t it? I suppose francocide must exist after all, then, just like femicide does? Apparently not, with the French public prosecutor in the immediate aftermath of the case declaring there was no evidence the attack was racially motivated (apart from all the evidence, of course …), whilst Interior Minister Darminin once more popped up to blame “a general failure of our society” rather than a very specific failure of a very specific demographic sector of it. Much French media, meanwhile, insisted upon calling the event a “brawl” (rixe), which implies a mutual fight with two sides to it; those children actually targeted preferred to call it a terror attack (attentat); being Jewish, Éric Zemmour may have more usefully called it a pogrom.
A Lady of Franc Opinions
One local French newspaper, Dauphiné Libéré, which actually bothered to go to Crépol and interview the victims, rather than just relying upon the Paris-based chattering classes to give their dhimmified, head-burying opinion on the matter, elicited quotes from those targeted for halal slaughter as follows:
We were having fun, we were with friends, having a good time together, and towards the end [of the ball], some people turned up. I heard there was a ruckus outside, people were crowded together. I went out and I was stabbed with a knife in the shoulder and in the back. I saw my friend Thomas get stabbed, I got scared and went back into the ballroom. I saw another friend of mine get stabbed in the back, I put pressure on his wound to make a tourniquet. His kidney was hit. It was horrifying. For me, it was clearly a terror attack. The assailants said: “We’re here to stab white people.”
Another teenager said:
It wasn’t just a fight like we’re used to, where people throw little punches at each other. We all went to village balls this summer. In a good ball, there’s always a fight at the end. Otherwise, it’s not a good ball. But it wasn’t like that. We saw between 15 and 20 people turn up. We didn’t know them. They pulled out knives. They were there to kill. We experienced it as a terror attack!
As one outraged mother also told the newspaper: “Some media are saying it was a brawl or payback. That’s not true! We can’t let them say that!” Too late, they already had. The Wikipedia entry on the affair mentions many attempts to qualify the victims’ narrative, saying the locals may have been the ones to start it after all; we shall have to await the outcome of any future trial to see what the official final verdict of the French State will be.
One politician who has already made up her mind is Marie-Hélène Thoraval, the above-mentioned mayor of Romans-sur Isère, from whose “sensitive neighborhood” the alleged knifemen came, who backed the white victims of Crépol up in their interpretation of the matter. Last month, just as Adolescence was telling France the true danger to the nation’s youth was fictional small white schoolboys, Thoraval returned to the headlines by decrying the release of a new left-wing book, A Night in France, which seeks to repaint events in Crépol as no kind of Francocide at all, but merely an ordinary, everyday act of French rural violence, subsequently “seized upon” by “fascists” like Thoraval and the Jewish Monsieur Zemmour for selfish political gain.
Thoraval’s opinions on the book’s unlikely arguments seem mostly sound:
Denying the existence of anti-white racism is absurd. Racism cannot only go one way. Imagine if the situation were reversed, if youths from Crépol had attacked a party in La Monnaie. Anti-racist organizations would have immediately taken up the case, and this tragedy would never have been dismissed as a simple fight … Crépol wasn’t a brawl or a fight. It was an attack and a punitive expedition … [The families of attack victims] come across videos showing one of the arrested attackers partying in prison. No one -in the media] talks about it, and they suffer in silence. Their lives have been turned upside down. An entire village will remain traumatized. Their anger is disturbing [for the elites] because it forces political leaders to acknowledge that their migration and integration policies have failed utterly.
The only part I could disagree with is that final sentence. Excrescences like Macron and Darminin will never admit their policies have failed in this respect, as this would be tantamount to admitting they are accomplices in an ongoing wave of mass murder, needlessly inflicted upon an entire population. So far from being able to admit the horrible truth are such figures that they that they cannot even admit the existence of the word used to describe this crime – francocide, or blancocide.
Instead, only fake problems can be acknowledged, like that of imaginary 13-year-old white English schoolboys having too much easy access to smartphones and kitchen-knives. To listen to all the endless media gushing over Adolescence amongst the Paris political class of late, you would never realize the worst case of real-life, off-screen violence in a French school over the last few years was the 2020 beheading of teacher Samuel Paty by an 18-year-old Chechnyan jihadi who had been motivated to do so by a 13-year-old Muslim girl in Paty’s class spreading exaggerated lies about the man displaying supposedly “offensive” cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
What do you know? Turns out that, in today’s France, the true most dangerous 13-year-olds are not white schoolboys after all, but Muslim schoolgirls. Come on Netflix, let’s have a new drama warning everyone about this disturbing new racial and sexual demographic danger, please. If you want a catchy, single-word title for the piece, with a growing amount of name-recognition amongst the general public, you could always call it Francocide.
Notes
[1] It would have been nice if Badenoch’s actual response to her interviewer here had been “No, I haven’t seen Adolescence yet, but as you’re so keen for me to devise public policy upon works of fiction, I’m seriously considering basing my entire future immigration program on a close reading of The Camp of the Saints.” However, as Badenoch is herself a Nigerian immigrant, sadly this may not have proved politically possible.
[2] The relevant obscenities here are blanked out in news reports, so I have just guessed what they were.

Are ethnic Europeans being radicalized by the increase in oppression or is the oppression tending to encourage capitulation and acceptance?
Both.
God Bless our girls and our women.
Enough has been enough for decades. Time to bring back our other side.
Perhaps there needs to be a discussion on the Dissident Right about forming an alliance with the Manosphere?
The Left is very good at getting ostensibly divergent groups (like feminists and third worlders) acting together against the common foe. Lessons to be learned there about “no enemies to the right.”
It already exists.
Unfortunately, there is quite an overlap between the manosphere and the Dissident Right on most Internet spaces already.
I say unfortunately because most manospherists aren’t really political activist types; more like unhinged woman haters with a strong impulse to bash women in the movement and “remind” everyone of how it was actually the white females who caused the collapse of western civilization.
Instead of using the most accurate description, “French”, “White” is used.
EMJ is spot on, ‘White’ is the Zulu charging the machine gun nest, and it’s deliberately made to be.
Jones is a dishonest crank who appeals to cowards.
Each has its place; “White” is only avoided as a concession to those of whom one has become scared shitless.
Sometimes I really think proWhites and their supporters are the only ones alive out there with a conscience and functioning brain to see what racially is. The rest of the parroting drones might as well be made in talmudic labs. I live in the books from past greats, many discovered on here, cause the present of callous indifference of most Whites endlessly enabling such devilry is just too much. May an eternity of nightmares in Hell befall our enemies. Rest in peace, Lola and the nameless many.
“Toxic masculinity”? What a ridiculous, limp-wristed expression! As if there’s something wrong with strength, courage, fortitude and the other virtues. Who invents these things? Who is behind this TV show? Who financed it, produced it and distributed it? I can guess.
They have other creepy words & expressions. For example – “racist”, “racism”, and anything ending in “phobe” or “phobia”. If you reject pervert propaganda, for example, they call you a “transphobe”.
This Netflix series is based on a Big Lie. White adolescents don’t go around stabbing people. Blacks do. For example, in Frisco TX, there was a recent (April 2) stabbing of Austin Metcalf (white) by Karmelo Anthony (black) with a knife that he brought with him to a school sporting event. Only blacks do that. Although Karmelo was charged with murder-1, the judge let him out on bail. Of course, he is now a hero to the black community nationwide.
The same in Britain. Britain’s problem is not “toxic masculinity”. It is their total lack of any kind of masculine virtues, for which their jew-run government is to blame. Britain suffers from decadent effeminacy. And they take a perverse pride in their decadence.
Toxic masculinity?….. hymmmnnn…..maybe a little bit. (?!)
Toxic femininity? ….. hymmmnnn…..maybe perhaps…..but just a little wee bit. (?!)
Toxic Inbetweeniness?…..Lots of Special Easter Kisses With Extra Snuggle Bunnies For Good Measure!
Lots of Love For Always!
Adrianne!
I agree that the leftist media has run wild with toxic masculinity propaganda. I just did not see that much of it in Adolescence. But it is great to see push back against the distortions. Netflix aspires to be ‘global’, so its products seem to have a mandatory colorpedia in excess of the actual demographics of where shows are set. There was even an episode of Black Mirror (UK show) set in Iceland where there was an over-representation of Indian actors.
But HBO is much worse and it’s documentaries are outrageously partisan. The Dark Money Game (2025) highlights corrupt lobbyist practices. Yes, we all hate it and both sides do it. But the focus here is only the conservative side and specifically in the battleground/swing state of Ohio.
Then there is 2073, a paint-by-numbers dystopian sci fi movie in which good people are stomped down by a police state in a vision of a violent, arid technocratic hellscape. It is filmed as a pseudo-documentary and you would never guess the racial breakdown of the good people and the bad people ideologies. If you are still stumped you can learn more by reading up on director, Asif Kapadia.
