Happy Columbus Day! Today we celebrate Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the New World, inaugurating European settlement in the Western Hemisphere. The day is a federal holiday in the United States. In recent decades, however, Columbus Day has been under attack by those who wish to delegitimize European civilization in the Americas. We wish to direct your attention to the following resources about Columbus, Columbus Day, and the European settlement of the Americas on this site: (more…)

The Cost of N-Bombs: $137 Million
How much money would you accept to be called a nigger for nine months?
Even if I agreed to a $10,000 settlement, I’d feel as if I was stealing from the person who kept calling me a nigger. It doesn’t even matter if they kept telling me to go back to Africa and drew the occasional swastika in a shared bathroom. (more…)

No Time to Die is an excellent Bond film. It belongs in the company of Casino Royale and Skyfall and quite self-consciously reaches for the heights of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, which is arguably the best Bond film ever.
I was especially looking forward to No Time to Die because — although it is very much a minority opinion — my favorite Bond actor is Daniel Craig. (more…)

1. Our Fundraiser
This year, Counter-Currents is trying to raise $200,000 to sustain and improve our work. Since our last update, we have had 23 donations totaling $3,448, which has been doubled to $6,896 from a $5,000 matching grant. This means we have received a total of 877 donations and a grand total of $113,255.70 since we started our fundraiser on March 10th. Thus we are more than halfway to our goal, with just a bit less than one quarter of the year left. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped out so far, but we have more than $80,000 to go before we reach our goal . . . and time is running out. (more…)

(more…)

(more…)

Young men who are both healthy and sane must often keep in check the sexual predator that lurks inside of them. For some, it’s easy. For others, however, it’s the hardest thing they can do. But they do it, not merely because not doing it violates multiple laws and taboos and would violently separate one from society, but because they appreciate the inherent value in human life. (more…)

A new style of meme has cropped up on our side of YouTube known as “Little Dark Age.” The gist of it is that there is a series of videos which play the catchy end of the song “Little Dark Age” by MGMT in the background as typical images of modern degeneracy are flashed on the screen. Midway through the video, which is usually a couple of minutes long, the song picks up, and nostalgic images of past Western glory replace the modern images. (more…)

Barry Washington, Jr., a black man, accosted and later assaulted Ian Cranston and his girlfriend, who are white, on September 19 in Bend, Oregon. Ian Cranston shot him in self-defense. Because Washington’s assault on the girl was sexually motivated, the media spun it as “a black man shot for complimenting a white woman.” (more…)

Savitri Devi (1905–1982[1]) was born Maximine Julia Portaz in Lyons, France, of English, Italian, and Greek ancestry.[2] She was a highly gifted and eccentric child. Early on, she embraced vegetarianism and animal rights out of a strong aesthetic revulsion to slaughter and other forms of cruelty to animals. (more…)

“War is a bad thing, but peace can be a living horror.” — Ray Bradbury, “The Concrete Mixer”
I trust I am not alone among Counter-Currents readers in my appreciation for the late Ray Bradbury, my favorite author as a boy. Though Bradbury is often categorized as a science fiction author, his stories are just as suffused with magic and myth as they are with the futuristic technology that so repelled and terrified him. I attended Catholic high school at Cardinal O’Hara in Broomall, Pennsylvania from 1975 to 1979. I’d estimate that at the very most, 20 priests taught there while I was a student. At least six of them — Father Jones, Father Giliberti, Father McCarthy, Father Cannon, Father Gallagher, and Father Close — subsequently faced multiple allegations of sexually abusing schoolboys there.
