David Yorkshire of Mjolnir: A Magazine for the Creative Arts has recently produced a series of videos in which he takes a look at the Normans and the impact they had and have had on English society from various locations of significance in Normandy itself. The first documentary is from Barfleur, embarkation point of the Norman fleet before it set sail to England. Dave offers some general information on the Duchy of Normandy’s foundation and the dukes, as well as background information on England’s recent history leading up to the invasion in 1066. The entire series can be found here.
Gerard Winstanley, an English True Leveller, wrote in 1649 that the ‘enslaving Norman yoke’ (of feudalism) was still in place 600 years after the arrival of William the Conqueror.
In saying so, Winstanley was appealing to an older Saxon tradition of tribal communalism which balanced rights and responsibilities in an organic social order.
In the 21st century, capitalism is the modern expression of the Norman feudal yoke. It makes wage slaves of men who should be masters of their own destiny. It allows financiers to rule over producers. It devalues family, clan and nation in favour of competition, profit and globalism. It remains the single biggest threat to the continued existence of white nations, in my opinion.
The tribal socialism of Australian nationalists like William Lane, WG Spence, Vance Palmer and Russel Ward is entirely consistent with the thinking of Winstanley and the Levellers.
By finally throwing off the Norman yoke, the future for white nations can be secured.
Bring it on before 2066, I say. 1000 years is far too long.
