Between the World and Me
New York: Spiegel & Grau, 2015
Ta-Nehisi Coates has become one of the most eminent literary figures in recent time. In the last decade, his star has risen dramatically. He’s perhaps best known for his journalism work at the Atlantic, but he also has been published by NYT, WaPo, Time, and several other major periodicals. (more…)

Lipton Matthews over at Taki’s Magazine is giving White Nationalists some advice, and I think we’d better sit up and listen. In his essay “Cultural Whiteness,” he tells us we should stop being White Nationalists and instead view whiteness as a “philosophy of progress.” In other words, we should push for a society that is “culturally white,” but racially not so much. Director Tony Kaye’s anti-skinhead morality tale American History X (1998) is proof that propaganda is far from an exact science. Just as Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket caused a surge in Marine recruitment, American History X actually increases audience sympathies with neo-Nazi skinheads, despite its best efforts to present them as hateful hypocrites and losers. Not everyone hates the winter as much as I do — I’ve even argued that the primary impetus for European colonialism was the perfectly reasonable quest for warmer climes — but if you’re similar to me in this regard, with all due apologies to T. S. Eliot, April is not the cruelest month — February is. And apparently, a “major winter storm” will sock huge swaths of the USA this week. For me, the worst part of the year is that deep-frozen dark patch of dead somnolence between the Super Bowl and the blooming of the first tulips. (more…)

Anti-whiteness is a fact of life in America. Many whites who want to go to a good college, get a good job, or just be considered a better person will attempt a flight from white. They will try to find some non-white identity they can grasp onto, or pretend a perfectly white ethnicity (such as Italian or Polish) make them non-white. Others will cling to an identity that just makes them a special minority, (more…)

I was unfortunately right about the election — liberal elites stole it from the historic American nation. Through ballot harvesting, Mark Zuckerberg-funded “election administrators,” acceptance of dubious votes, and good old fashioned urban corruption, the Democrats were able to deny Donald Trump a victory on Election Day. Greg Johnson: How did you come up with the idea for this book?
Spencer Quinn: I had just started writing for Counter-Currents in 2016, and I was kicking around for novel ways to get our message across. At that time most of us were on social media, and so after a few months I felt fairly certain that the idea of a Dissident Right children’s book (more…)

At this point, it seems unlikely that Trump is going to prevail in his legal challenges. It’s possible that he will, but what do you think is more likely? If he doesn’t prevail, however, Biden’s “win” can actually be a tremendous win for us.
Why? Well, first let’s address the question of who “we” are. I hate to sound like Joe Biden, who seems not to know who he is (more…)

Thousands of gun owners rallied in Richmond, Virginia on Martin Luther King Day to protest the state’s new gun laws.
This rally was one of the largest right-wing demonstrations in recent memory and effectively communicated citizen dissent against gun control. Nothing violent happened, bad optics were at a minimum (but goofy optics were aplenty), and conservative media lionized the demonstrators. Liberal journalists embarrassed themselves with their desire to portray the protests as a neo-Nazi revolt. (more…)

If you’re milling around Counter-Currents, you’re probably savvy to the notion that human beings are biological creatures, that we are shaped and molded by our environment’s ruthless Darwinian pressures into our present form. To think this way is heresy in the contemporary West. To consider the possibility that man is subject to the laws of nature offends the prideful sensibilities of our Gnostic and Luciferian elites. To think of oneself as a thread in the great tapestry of being offends the petty individualism of the modern Westerners. (more…)

Majority-minority America will not be kind to whites. Whiteness will mark you as a second-class citizen, a blot on your soul that excludes you from affirmative action and social respect. Ambitious social climbers will pretend they are non-white or cling to another protected class status to get out of their Caucasian hell.
Signs of this nightmarish future are already present. Plenty of whites claim they’re something else to achieve sacred victimhood. (more…)

White Identity or ‘Whiteness’ is a fundamental aspect of Skateboarding. My aim is to provide a bridge and reference point for Skateboarders and Alt-Righters to make common cause.[1] Through this, boarders can become aware of themselves as White and under attack from a racial perspective and not merely for their chosen sport — though Skateboarding is, as we shall see, being attacked as being representative of healthy White norms and as a de-facto bastion of White Identity, (more…)

Yksi ilmeinen tapa hyökätä valkoista nationalismia vastaan on väittää, että itse valkoisuuden käsite on ongelmallinen. Käsittelen nyt neljää sellaista vastaväitettä. Ensiksi, valkoisuuden käsitettä pidetään poliittisesti tarpeettomana. Toiseksi, valkoisuuden oletetaan kumoavan etnisen identiteetin. Kolmanneksi, valkoisuuden väitetään olevan sosiaalinen konstruktio, ei luonnollinen kategoria. (more…)
