Editor’s note: The following is the English-language version of an interview with Greg Johnson by Rémi Tremblay for the Quebecois nationalist publication Le Harfang.
Rémi Tremblay: It’s Okay to Be White was written and published before Black Lives Matter’s recent rise. Has it changed your perception?
Greg Johnson: BLM has been around since the Obama administration, but since the death of George Floyd, it has been much more vocal and destructive. (more…)
There appears to be a sea change underway on the American Right, as edgy, yet still-mainstream conservative outlets use the term “anti-white” increasingly often, as the word “white” becomes less and less unmentionable on talk shows like Tucker Carlson Tonight, and as Republican State legislatures across the nation adopt legislation to combat “critical race theory” propaganda in government, schoolrooms, and corporate boardrooms. (more…)
I’m a pretty cold-hearted realist, but after such a buildup of how the Right has been losing again and again for over a century, I expected something perhaps a bit more stirring. Some call to arms, or flowering prose. Instead, you essentially offer “Who knows? Our luck may change; stranger things have happened.” (more…)
Interview with Petr Hampl: Breached Enclosure & Redneck Sociology
Petr Hampl is the most widely read Czech sociologist. He is a patriot, activist, and the executive director of the Czech Society for Civilization Studies, which explores relations between “major civilizations” building on Samuel Huntington’s paradigm. He is also a co-founder of White Straight Pride Society. In 2018, Petr published his first book, Breached Enclosure: Why the West Is Being Defeated by Islam but Might Still Come Out Okay. (more…)
Four years ago, Joe Rogan had a very instructive conversation with Jordan Peterson and Bret Weinstein about Adolf Hitler. Most have probably heard of this last person, as well as the first two. The third, Weinstein, is an evolutionary biologist who attained notoriety in 2017 when he stood up to Evergreen State College in Washington State when they attempted to kick white students off campus for a day. I don’t know where I first heard this joke:
“How do you keep 5 blacks from raping a white woman?” “Throw them a basketball.” (more…)
Hideous Ewok Lesbian Chicago Mayor Refuses 1-on-1 Interviews With Evil Whites
It’s a widely known fact that Lori Lightfoot, since she is married to a white woman who looks like John Kerry with tits, is the first black lesbian mayor of the Windy City. What’s not as widely known is that she earned her surname when, as a bright and inquisitive child, she noticed that the soles of her feet were lighter than the rest of her body. (more…)
I was interviewed by the French nationalist and Breton regionalist webzine Breizh-Info on the occasion of the publication of the French translation of The White Nationalist Manifesto, which you can buy from Akribeia. This is the English original of my interview.
Can you introduce yourself to our readers?
I have a friend who’s a big sports fan, especially college football. He’s crazy for the local State university (which we will call “State”) and hates the slightly more prestigious state University (which we will call “the U”). It’s really not hate, of course. It’s more of an identity/anti-identity thing. Despite not having attended either university, he has always identified with State, which, in his local setting, also means identifying as not-U. (more…)
As I understand it, most people would strongly prefer that others approve of them even if it means being untrue to themselves — and that’s something I’ll never understand about most people.
It seems that most people would rather be liked by others than be okay with themselves, and that’s something I strongly dislike about most people and think is not okay at all. (more…)
George W. Bush is back in the news to promote his horrible picture book, Out of Many, One. The picture book, as its title evokes, urges readers to see America as a vast, multicultural landscape where everyone can belong. Most of his public statements in support of the book have touted mass immigration and the superiority of immigrants. He’s backed amnesty and denounced the Republican Party for its “nativism” and “isolationism.” (more…)
Remembering Sam Francis: Sam Francis & the Prospect of Secession
America stands as a foreign land to many white Americans. It’s ruled by a hostile regime that worships blacks, hates whites, and imposes cringe upon the planet. Elections seem to be wasted efforts as the situation grows direr by the year. Donald Trump was President, yet America became more anti-white during his term. Many on our side have argued for years that the current system is hopeless and the only solution is secession. (more…)
Imagine if I screamed my lungs bloody all day and all night, for years on end, about the Devil and how he’s the greatest threat to humanity. And then, let’s say a well-tempered Satanist tried to counter my caterwauling by saying, “Relax, fella — the Devil’s not that bad.”
If I replied, “The Devil doesn’t exist, you retard,” would I sound crazy? (more…)
Officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all counts for the “murder” of the beatified George Floyd. The jury, consisting of only two white men among twelve, found him guilty within a matter of hours. It was a quick decision that sent a clear message to America: black lives matter more than yours.
Despite being denounced by nearly every law enforcement official in the country, Derek Chauvin is the face of American police. (more…)

Ta-Nehisi Coates has become one of the most eminent literary figures in recent time. In the last decade, his star has risen dramatically. He’s perhaps best known for his journalism work at the Atlantic, but he also has been published by NYT, WaPo, Time, and several other major periodicals. (more…)
Lipton Matthews over at Taki’s Magazine is giving White Nationalists some advice, and I think we’d better sit up and listen. In his essay “Cultural Whiteness,” he tells us we should stop being White Nationalists and instead view whiteness as a “philosophy of progress.” In other words, we should push for a society that is “culturally white,” but racially not so much. (more…)
Say what you want about white nationalists, they play life on the highest difficulty.

If you read Leftist and conservative treatments of why people join terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda or ISIS, you see a lot of hand-wringing about poverty, lack of education, lack of opportunity, et cetera. (more…)
Director Tony Kaye’s anti-skinhead morality tale American History X (1998) is proof that propaganda is far from an exact science. Just as Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket caused a surge in Marine recruitment, American History X actually increases audience sympathies with neo-Nazi skinheads, despite its best efforts to present them as hateful hypocrites and losers. Not everyone hates the winter as much as I do — I’ve even argued that the primary impetus for European colonialism was the perfectly reasonable quest for warmer climes — but if you’re similar to me in this regard, with all due apologies to T. S. Eliot, April is not the cruelest month — February is. And apparently, a “major winter storm” will sock huge swaths of the USA this week. For me, the worst part of the year is that deep-frozen dark patch of dead somnolence between the Super Bowl and the blooming of the first tulips. (more…)
Anti-whiteness is a fact of life in America. Many whites who want to go to a good college, get a good job, or just be considered a better person will attempt a flight from white. They will try to find some non-white identity they can grasp onto, or pretend a perfectly white ethnicity (such as Italian or Polish) make them non-white. Others will cling to an identity that just makes them a special minority, (more…)
I was unfortunately right about the election — liberal elites stole it from the historic American nation. Through ballot harvesting, Mark Zuckerberg-funded “election administrators,” acceptance of dubious votes, and good old fashioned urban corruption, the Democrats were able to deny Donald Trump a victory on Election Day. Interview with Spencer J. Quinn on My Mirror Tells A Story
Greg Johnson: How did you come up with the idea for this book?
Spencer Quinn: I had just started writing for Counter-Currents in 2016, and I was kicking around for novel ways to get our message across. At that time most of us were on social media, and so after a few months I felt fairly certain that the idea of a Dissident Right children’s book (more…)
The Stolen Election Will Red-Pill 70 Million Americans
At this point, it seems unlikely that Trump is going to prevail in his legal challenges. It’s possible that he will, but what do you think is more likely? If he doesn’t prevail, however, Biden’s “win” can actually be a tremendous win for us.
Why? Well, first let’s address the question of who “we” are. I hate to sound like Joe Biden, who seems not to know who he is (more…)
Since the last US presidential election, my life has been a tangled web of travels and adventures. I was fortunate enough to experience Trump’s historic election night in 2016 while living in a small town in Texas. This year, I spent the election night in a small British town near Tamworth Castle. Like everyone else, I stayed up late both nights (more…)
Hello, all ye white people of Counter-Currents. It is my sincerest wish that you are having a day that is so unapologetically white, it renders everyone in your immediate vicinity permanently snow-blind. (more…)
The Counter-Currents 2020 Fundraiser
Only White Identity Can Save Western Civilization
Counter-Currents is trying to raise $150,000 this year. Thus far, we have received 660 donations for a total of $94,696.84.
In our last update, we announced a $5,000 matching grant, which was met with an outpouring of support that quickly used it up and carried us well beyond. I want to thank all of our donors, (more…)
Three Pillars of White Identity Politics:
Part 2: Culture
I don’t want to be like some passive artist for people to go, “Oh, what do you think of Tom Macdonald,” and they’re like, “You can take him or leave him.” I don’t want that. I want people to go either, “Yo, I love that guy,” or “Yo, I f*****g hate that guy.” I want an emotional response to this stuff.
