I launched my journey into dissident politics over 30 years ago. Back then, connecting with forbidden ideas required tracking down a mailing address for a semi-underground hard-copy newsletter. Publications like Instauration and American Renaissance never appeared in bookstores or public libraries, but once I found them, they linked me to thousands of fellow heretics who resisted establishment orthodoxy on race. In much of the commentary surrounding today’s politics in the United States, we have a struggle between two narratives. After cutting through all the nuance and boiling everything down to the essentials, the conflicting sides can be described in the following way. One side blames whites for the greatest wrongs of history while presuming the relative innocence of non-whites, while the other side blames non-whites for the greatest wrongs of history while presuming the relative innocence of whites. The London Evening Standard is a venerable newspaper now distributed free in the city of my birth. It launched in 1829 and became free of charge in 2009. George Orwell wrote The Moon Under Water for the paper, in which he described his ideal pub, in 1946, the same year he wrote Politics and the English Language. Hopefully, he wrote it in a pub. The Standard has always been very much a part of London life and tradition. (more…)

The Counter-Currents Foundation:
How Any American Can Make a Tax-Deductible Donation This Year184 words
The Counter-Currents Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt educational corporation that promotes scholarship connected with New Right metapolitics. Donations to the Counter-Currents Foundation can be deducted from US federal income taxes.
Normally, American taxpayers have to itemize their deductions to write off charitable donations when filing their federal income taxes. This means that people who file the 1040EZ form cannot take advantage of deductions for charitable giving. (more…)

Counter-Currents is trying to raise $150,000 this year. Thus far, we have received 751 donations totaling $111,169.69, for which we are enormously grateful. We are thus well past the two-thirds point! We will keep the fundraiser going as long as needed, but the ultimate deadline is the end of the year, just under two months away. That’s a lot of ground to cover, so we will be kicking our efforts into overdrive. (more…)

In any age, people with the capacity to truly think for themselves are rare. Rarer still are those courageous enough to defy the established order and express heretical views. Most people are too unwilling to part with the security that conformity affords. The heretic values truth and justice above all else, even his own life.

1,977 wordsIt was ten years ago today that the Counter-Currents website went online. I can’t count the number of writers, YouTubers, podcasters, websites, and entire movements that have come and gone in our ideological sphere in the last ten years. The attrition is understandable. Deplatforming, demonetization, and demoralization take their toll. But Counter-Currents is still here, and we are not going anywhere. (more…)
