1. Our 2024 Fundraiser Update

Okay, you can breathe now.

I didn’t know how tense I was about the recent Presidential election until it was all over, and a wave of relief hit me. I stayed up really late watching returns, slept in the next day, and awoke feeling enormously energized. I thought, “Now I can get back to work.” Now we can get back to work. And, if you’ve been holding off on donating to our annual fundraiser, there’s no reason to delay any longer.

This year, Counter-Currents is trying to raise $300,000 not just to sustain our work, but to expand it. With the help of our generous supporters, we are now at $165,901.21. Thank you for your support.

As Leftists are fond of saying, there is still lots of work to be done.

Trump’s victory is only valuable to us insofar as we can steer the trajectory of the country in our direction. If we do nothing, we will end up with a multiracial civic nationalist society, which is precisely what we want to avoid. We have to actively resist this outcome.

A downside of having someone like Trump in office is the danger of growing complacent. We must guard against this. If anything, we should be working twice as hard now that Trump has been elected in order to make the most of his presidency.

In Trump’s second term, we should focus on building institutions, crafting policy proposals, and mobilizing racially aware white people as a group. We should also continue to focus on “metapolitics,” with an emphasis on converting MAGA conservatives and undermining the foundations of civic nationalism—both HBD-style cognitive elitism and “multiracial working-class populism.” We need to relentlessly push our message and maximize our reach with an eye toward influencing people in the Trump administration. All of the above will require time and resources.

Leftists tend to have the upper hand over us because they invest a great deal of time and money in institution-building, political organizing, and metapolitics. They have an army of professional activists who never take a day off. It would be great if we had institutions similar in scope to the SPLC or the ACLU.

With Trump in office, we have fewer obstacles in our way. This is a great opportunity for us. The main obstacle we face is lack of funding. Once that is surmounted, we could potentially become a powerful political force.
