It’s nearly impossible to explain to anyone who doesn’t try to publish essays from the perspective of the Dissident Right just how difficult it is to get certain opinions published. Even a willing interlocutor has trouble comprehending just how impenetrable the wall is between the institutions curating public opinion and the public itself.

On August 26, Apple+ released the trailer for an upcoming miniseries called The Savant. From the trailer, it looked like a series about a woman who by day is a soccer mom in an interracial marriage but by night is an antiracist super-spy. I never thought I would see some of my ideas and views go mainstream. And I certainly never thought I’d see them enter public policy. As recently as 2014, the idea of deporting anybody, no matter how illegal or criminal, was seen as impossible. During that era, as recently as within the decade, the idea of ending birthright citizenship was seen as simply laughable. The GOP was still fully neoconservative and led by the likes of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. It was an abysmal time politically, as was most of my life. (more…)

A short while ago I wrote about the connections between Willis Carto and the Truth Seeker magazine and its owner Charles Smith, who published the original American edition of Imperium. An equally significant connection there is Frederick C. F. Weiss, who was linked to both the Truth Seeker and the National Renaissance Party (NRP) in New York in the 1950s. Weiss was a longtime friend of Francis Parker Yockey, who sometimes stayed at — or hid out at — Weiss’ farm near Middletown New York, about 60 miles northwest of Manhattan. It was through Weiss that the Truth Seeker’s Charles Smith was introduced to Imperium, and probably to Yockey as well. (more…)

The Icelandic government considered a bill in early 2018 banning the non-therapeutic circumcision of newborn boys. If passed, the law would have found such acts punishable by up to six years in prison. The reason for the ban, according to Silja Dögg Gunnarsdóttir, the member of Parliament who created the bill, was simply humane concern for boys’ welfare. “The bill only wants to protect the rights of the child to control his own body, and to make sure that no unnecessary surgery that could potentially harm the child is performed that early,” she stated.
