After several weeks of not having a Speaker of the House, the GOP have finally settled on a replacement for the deposed Kevin McCarthy. The lucky winner is Representative Mike Johnson of Louisiana. Johnson was first elected to Congress in 2016, which makes him the least experienced Speaker since John G. Carlisle in 1883. (more…)

What if the world were to end in a thermonuclear firestorm ignited by the only nuclear power on Earth that’s too dishonest to admit it has nuclear weapons? (more…)

In his recent Takimag essay, “White Knighting for Middle East Unsalvageables,” David Cole gets a lot right, but he misses the broader picture. With his usual caustic flair, Cole complains about the uncritical — and what he sees as hypocritical — support many on the Right have been lavishing on the Palestinians during their ongoing war with the Israelis. The Protocols of Zion Today,
Part 2Part 2 of 2 (Part 1 here)
Odds and ends
Then it’s back to Abraham Foxman. He explains that the Israeli Prime Minister said he’d received 4,000 calls from concerned families after 9/11. Later, this got conflated into a story about 4,000 Jews not showing up to work at the Twin Towers that day. It’s nice to see him clearing something up and earning his keep. (more…)

The Polish parliamentary elections of October 2023 promised to answer the ultimate question of Polish politics: whether the ruling party — in this case Prawo i Sprawiedliwość, or Law & Justice (PiS) — can break the curse and rule for a third time in a row, something which had never been achieved before in the 33 years of Polish democracy, or will it adhere to the iron rule of Polish politics and lose to the main opposition party after being in power for two terms? Note: The core of this article was published in 2017. The occasion was the cyberbullying of several female video commenters who eventually left the movement. The article was republished in the first edition of my book Toward a New Nationalism. I dropped it from the second edition, because the figures it referenced are no longer relevant. But the central arguments remain as relevant as ever. (more…)

Part 1 of 2 (Part 1 here)
Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, a number of stories appeared which alleged Israeli involvement. Personally, I haven’t paid much attention, since thus far I’ve heard little along those lines that passes the Occam’s Razor test.[1] Although I can’t deny that Jews have a regrettably high trouble-per-capita ratio, I’m not in the habit of assuming everything bad in the world was something they did. One of the more interesting aspects of the ongoing Israel-Palestine controversy is how both sides of the debate seem to be courting pro-whites. They both seem keen to make the case that they represent the more pro-white position.
From the pro-Palestinian side, the argument is that Jews are the eternal blood enemy of the white race, and that what is bad for Israel is bad for Jews and what is bad for Jews is good for pro-whites. (more…)

Proof that there is no morality in Mexico. The sign above, found everywhere, indicates a topless beach. Oh, how I fear for our young.

I have a confession to make to my readers. I have been lying about Mexico. Yes. I am a poor sinner and meant no harm, but the devil got into me, and I have done wrong. I have said that Mexico was a pleasant country of agreeable people, and harmless. I have said that children here run and play in the fountains and enjoy the blessed life of the happy young. No, no! It wasn’t true. They die of hunger in the streets. Nay, Haiti must seem a paradise by comparison. (more…)

Aleister Crowley jako politický teoretik
část 12.057 slov
English original here
(more…)

It was supposed to make our lives better, not consume them — or so we thought. Smartphones and social media are as ubiquitous as they are dangerous. They are a tool, but unlike most, they offer an easy on-ramp to behavioral addiction and cognitive decay. (more…)
