With elections exploding across America like November fireworks, and with Glenn Youngkin’s victory over Terry McAuliffe in Virginia absorbing most of the media attention, it is easy to forget another important ballot, one in which the people of Minneapolis voted not to abolish their police force. Yes, in a city boasting wildlife such as George Floyd, the replacement of the police department with social workers called “peace officers” and a patronizing consultative role for actual police officers really was the ballot initiative proposed. The people of Minneapolis decided against it, but the fact that such a vote took place at all shows at once the malevolent corrosion within Democrat urban politics, the power they wield, and their hatred of the police.
It is a little saddening to read and watch commentators calling this “a victory for common sense.” It was no such thing. It was a victory against a potent enemy, and the people who forced this exemplary piece of legislative anarcho-tyranny to a ballot did exactly what they set out to do. Efficient policing is not good for the societal instability the globalists require, particularly in the world’s big cities. With this in mind, it is worth briefly examining the difference between policing in the United States and in the United Kingdom. Both sets of police forces have been deliberately hobbled by the anarcho-tyrannists, but using different methods. And while we are about it, it is worth noting one similarity between the traditional frenemies, the US and the UK. Those of us who would like to see capable and aware policing have been betrayed by so many whites in positions of power they make Judas Iscariot look like the school tattle-tale.
There is a key difference between attitudes towards policing and the police in the US and the UK, and the contrast runs along political tracks. Broadly speaking, in the US the political Right — the genuine Right, not the GOP — respect the police and sympathize with the recent pressure they have been under since violent career criminal George Floyd died while resisting arrest after ingesting too much fentanyl. The Left, of course, have made the cops fall guys and the hard Left want them abolished. In the UK, however, the police have pulled off the extraordinary feat of being hated by both Left and Right.
The British police have been deliberately hamstrung by importing victim politics into straightforward policing methods. A book called Wasting Police Time by pseudonymous British police officer “David Copperfield” was initially dismissed by the British Justice Minister at the time, who had to retract that dismissal when Copperfield turned out to be telling the truth about the state of UK policing. Copperfield relates the end of his old job and the beginning of a new one as a police officer:
I finished on the Friday afternoon and turned up at police headquarters on the following Monday wearing my old work boots and with the oil and dirt from the factory still ingrained in my hands. Three days later, we were still talking about prejudice and discrimination; burglars had to wait while we set about changing the racist, homophobic and male-dominated world in which we lived.
British readers will roll their eyes and sigh that this is typical of today’s policing priorities. But the book was published in 2006.

The British police were “woke” before it was what the young people call a thing. We had our own black martyr: Stephen Lawrence, in 2006. He was not killed by the police but by a gang of genuinely racist nut-jobs — the nasty side of white London I often saw, as London is my home city. But the infamous McPherson Report which followed branded the British police “institutionally racist,” and the die was cast. The police have spent their time ever since trying to genuflect as pathetically as possible to blacks, including kneeling to the new pantheon during BLM riots last year. (London is 4,000 miles from Minneapolis, but Floyd’s death was the equivalent of the shot heard round the world that killed Kennedy.) Cue affirmative action hires, increasing lawlessness among young blacks, and a constant tribal drumbeat of racism from the Left, who know new puppets when they see them.
Nowadays, the British police are more likely to be seen prancing around in rainbow make-up at a Pride event than attending your burgled apartment. They have gone full woke, although you just know some of them — who joined for the right reasons — are seething inside. But they have to think, not of principles, but of job security, pension, and family. Admissions criteria were quietly changed to require new officers to have a degree, meaning that they will now be steeped in critical race theory and the rest of the bigoted rubbish in which British universities now trade, as they are unlikely to have read STEM subjects.
Peter Hitchens is a veteran English political journalist and a great chronicler of the collapse of British policing, particularly in his book The Abolition of Liberty. Hitchens — the surviving brother of Christopher Hitchens, who had quite a high profile in the US — is something of a curmudgeon; a self-confessed ex-Marxist, and quite possibly the most conservative man in Britain.
Hitchens pinpoints the key change in British policing, which is from preventative to reactive. Where police officers used to be members of the community, and would be a visible presence to deter would-be criminals, they are now paramilitary responders, wearing an armory of paraphernalia and arriving after a crime has been committed to issue a crime number for insurance purposes before returning to the station to begin an absurd and deliberately convoluted raft of paperwork.
As for the new ideology, the police in the UK have been more carefully socially engineered than perhaps any other segment of the public sector. Hitchens shows emphatically that the police force — renamed the “police service” when the martinets in charge decided that “force” was too male and militaristic — has been deliberately weakened by a combination of operational policy, the undermining of authority, and the same type of cultural Marxist indoctrination students in Britain are currently undergoing. I am not aware of anyone who has researched the British police and its history as deeply as Mr. Hitchens, and his conclusion is that what he says used to be “the most civilized and subtle police force in the world” should be broken up and begun again.
Apart from their skewed priorities, the other big stain on the soul of the British police is what is known colloquially as “the Rotherham grooming scandal.” British police forces not only deliberately ignored the rape of many hundreds of white and Sikh girls by Pakistani-heritage Muslim men, they were instructed to do so by their bosses and political paymasters. One force was even directly told to “look for men of other ethnicities.” If the British police don’t hang their heads in shame over this, then they have none.
Thus, the British police are despised by the Left simply because they are the police, and deemed pathetic by the Right because they abandoned traditional policing for faddish ideological trends which can only increase crime. No one who is even vaguely libertarian can look comfortably at a police force which spends more time policing the internet than it does the streets.
The attitude towards the police in America, as noted, seems to be different.
There, the emphasis is on the strategic weaponization of anti-police sentiment by the Deep State and enabled by the government, and boosted by genuine America-haters such as the Muslim fifth-columnist Ilhan Omar. (Why, incidentally, do the Left applaud a woman who married her own brother?) In turn, this revolves around who the Deep State want policed and how. It is very much led by ideological demand. So if you burn down and loot cities in response to a drug addict’s death, you are very unlikely to be arrested and, even if you are, you will be quietly released back into the wild a little later. But if you are a Loudoun County parent who wishes their child to get a grounded education and you are vocal about it at a school board meeting, you get the G.
As with the British police, you had better get with the agenda if you want to stay in work (and they have now upped the pressure with “vaccine” mandates), but there is an added element of policing by consent provided that consent comes from the elites and their Leftist advisers. The creation of a police state today only takes a few emails and lunchtime meetings.
And here is something that is not happening in the UK. America’s leading police union, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), issued a report last week showing that ambush-style attacks on its officers are up 139% this year. FOP President Patrick Yoes was forthright in blaming this offensive on “lingering animosity towards law enforcement officers, overheated political rhetoric, and a decline in respect for law and order.” Given that the “animosity” has as its center of gravity Floyd and Black Lives Matter (BLM), the political rhetoric has largely been intended to placate BLM, and that it is blacks by far who have the least respect for law and order, this increase in cold-blooded assassination attempts is a symptom of black-run culture.
Joe Gamaldi, the FOP’s Vice President, also stressed a point on FOX News. The response of many police officers to the violence and job insecurity ginned up by government and their provisional wing in the media is exactly what you would expect: They are quitting. Gamaldi pointed to Austin, one of many race-blighted cities, where the murder rate is up 88% in a year and 350 officers have already left, with another 250 in the pipeline on the way out. When police officers leave their jobs en masse, you know what is coming. Just ask Sweden, whose police officers are leaving the force in record numbers. Democrats don’t really need to defund the police; their policies are doing that for them, ably assisted by near-untouchable black street criminals. Ron DeSantis in California is offering $5,000 as a sign-on bonus for police officers who want to come and work in his state. The going rate in Seattle is $25,000, and Gamaldi says you could offer a quarter of a million and still have no takers.
Now, there are glaring disparities between America and the UK/Europe in the matter of race. Europe doesn’t have a Hispanic problem, but in Islam it has its own Arabic/Maghrebian version of La Raza. Although the US has a Muslim problem which will only get worse, Mohammedans have nothing like the power they have in Europe. They don’t own the common spaces as they do in many European countries. But the US and the UK, and their respective police forces, do share one common enemy, however: blacks.
It gives me no great pleasure to say this, but anyone who has ever lived in a predominantly black area knows that they are more or less impossible to police, and for a simple reason: They wish to police themselves. That is the meaning of postcode gangs and training shoes slung over telegraph wires to mark territorial zones. It is a grave mistake to think blacks are lawless. The point is that, like Muslims but not for religious reasons, blacks do not recognize white law. They equate it with white rule. And once the idea of white rule is abroad, along with its attendant benefits, blacks and their white handlers have political traction. That’s when the police stop being desperate sheep dogs trying to corral unruly sheep and become, in the eyes of the liberal intelligentsia who run the West, South Afrikaaner policemen with snapping German Shepherds during apartheid.
Policing black men and, increasingly, women is going to be a nightmare for white police officers until politicians stand up for them, and that is not going to happen anytime soon in the current climate. The police have been painted into a corner. Vast resources are required to police blacks, and yet the police are not allowed to do their job. They are there simply as political punchbags. As Paul Kersey writes in Bell Curve City:
As only black politicians and commentators are allowed to notice, a large black population requires a police force that is essentially an occupation. Whites are at fault whether they provide too little law enforcement or too much.
Then there is jail, and you won’t be entered into a prize draw for noticing that blacks are both heavily overrepresented in prison statistics and effectively in charge of the prisons themselves. The American prison system is probably the most efficiently black-run business in the country.
And in terms of the legal apparatus as a whole, it is not just the police whose time — and time is taxpayer money — is being disproportionately wasted by blacks. Lawyer Donald Williamson writes that “[m]ost people do not realize this, but outside the world of corporate or securities law, in any big city the legal profession is to a large degree fueled by the pathologies of blacks and other Third-World people.”
And black grievance just got an accelerant. BLM is toxic in many ways, and it has armed blacks in the culture wars. The climate around race today has foxed the West into doing two things with regards to blacks that you should never, ever do.
Firstly, you never add to their sense of grievance. The vast majority of black people are brought up to believe, as an article of faith, that if they achieve anything in life it is because they are black, and if they fail that it is also because they are black. You will recognize that the difference is one of nuance. Colin Flaherty, in Don’t Make the Black Kids Angry, notes a self-fulfilling prophecy among blacks which allows them to stoke their own sense of grievance at no cost to their ignorance of their own nature and culture:
[Blacks] have no problem publicly complaining about life conditions they have created for themselves. Maladapted adolescents do this often.
Secondly, you must never give blacks the chance to show off, showboat, or grandstand. Whether or not minstrel blood flows strong in the veins, I can’t say, but blacks often strive to be center of attention in any given social — and social media –situation, and the whole critical race theory circus has just shone the limelight on them. And boy, don’t we just know it. Every time I hear some self-righteous and dusky TV talking head say that “we need a conversation about race,” I chuckle. It’s the only fucking conversation in town. And it’s not a conversation, it’s a monologue.

In 2011 there were nationwide riots in England — one of the only times the BBC mentioned the country they despise by name outside of sport — sparked by the fatal shooting of some wannabe gang-banger called Mark Duggan. After days of rioting, the rioters largely untroubled by the police as with the BLM riots a decade later and with the usual staggering bill for damages, the procession of ham psychologists on television and radio began. Even a psychological layman can tell that what these people say is bollocks on stilts, but one in particular did make me laugh — such a rare thing in these times. The problem, he said, is one of self-esteem, which is very low in black boys. As we say in England, come again?
No ethnicity has a higher sense of self-worth and self-esteem than blacks. I wanted to walk this propeller-head psychologist around south London and show him the parade of strutting turkey-cocks sucking their teeth at us and showing us ritual parts of their bodies along with more or less simian facial expressions. Compared with these stratospheric egos, Mohammad Ali, Sean Combs, and Al Sharpton have or had at best middling self-esteem.
But all this is unsayable. Whites know the snag with regard to the celebration of diversity: It’s unilateral. Only whites need apply. In fact, whites had better apply, or there will be consequences. Celebrating diversity has been machine-tooled into the applause of North Korean crowds when Dear Leader waddles into view. Celebrate or else. Clap like your life depends on it, because it does. And don’t be seen to be the first to stop.
BLM made so much money from self-flagellating white-owned corporations that one of its founder members — a self-confessed Marxist who, like Albert Camus, has undoubtedly never read page one of Das Kapital — put together a four-house, multi-million dollar property portfolio. If American business has one priority lesson to learn, it is not to fund black people. No good can come of it.
The question of reparations is interesting. If you had to give a vast sum of money to any ethnic group, in the interests of the economy you would give it to blacks. They would be the least likely to save it and the most likely to spend it. Thus, much of the vast sum would soon be back greasing the economy and doing the most good, and not sloshing around in the government’s pork barrel. On the other hand, perhaps it is time to address reparations and say to blacks: Reparations? You already had ‘em.
You already had your pocket money and you spent it — and pocket money, as every young boy knows, only comes your way if you behave yourself. And you haven’t done that. And there are bills that have to be paid — and George Floyd’s fake twenties won’t do.
The bill for policing your aggregate lack of self-discipline. The bill for jail, plus added extras for the trouble you have caused there. All the court appearances you didn’t turn up at have to be paid for. Then there’s all the damage. And don’t forget the hidden social cost of the whites and Asians who weren’t accepted for the job, or given the college place, or promoted, or allowed to stay in a voluntary position they loved because you were able to do those things due to the melanin content of your skin and the fact that you have been armed with a wholly spurious history of slavery. (While we are on the subject, anyone who has ever done manual labor alongside blacks knows that, were slavery to be instituted tomorrow, any sensible business owner would not use blacks, but probably Eastern Europeans, who know how to work.)
You – yes, you, black people — had to be given those things at the expense of someone more deserving to stop your whining. Not that you will, because you have the taste for it now. I forgot the medical bills stemming from your violent behavior, the legal costs of your endless race-based lawsuits, and of course last but by no means least the funeral bills, a disproportionate amount of which has been picked up by white families.
If the slave-owners of Dixie had known what they were bequeathing to future generations of Americans, they would have picked the cotton themselves.

The vilification of the American police (generally white makes) seems like the insane left’s natural counter to President Trump’s constant couching of them as allies, lest the police feel emboldened to police the politicians who control them. They are thus being punished for their support of Trump although this punishment has been in many cases collectively enforced. Democrats are like, um, honey badgers.

The Western Civilization has, reportedly, been at war with Islam [whatever that means] for the last 1400 years, and, yet, its grasp of Islam is still superficial…which says a lot about this ‘Western Civilization’.

For starters, Islam is innate, ontologically alive, and trans-historical.
Anyone who wishes to ‘confront’ it will have to match it on that level.
Those non-Whites [who adhere to Islam] who migrated to the White West [Europe or its extensions] did so for purely material and selfish purposes.
Hence, it would be more effective if they are to be dared on material grounds (race, ethnicity, tribe etc.).
When the news about South Asian rape and grooming gangs began to surface across mass communications, it was mischievous to refer to these disgusting vermin as ‘Muslim rape gangs’. These are not mere semantics. Language matters.
In my opinion, White Nationalists give in when they put too much focus on the Muslimness of non-Whites living in Occidental societies.
They can bash the faith. They can insult its tenets. But at the end of the day, they will have nothing in their arsenal to put up a serious and disciplined challenge to Islam.
So, why go down that road?
‘Islam vs the West’ was a trap set for racially conscious Occidental people, and, sadly, most of them just love to walk into it.
If your race is your strongest weapon then it should be used wisely. Don’t deploy it in domains where it will malfunction and leave you defenseless.
You’re wrong on all accounts except a marginal one.
Most people on the True Right do oppose “Islam” on a Theological level (I guess that’s what you meant by “eternal principles”). If ever bothering to check, you’ll hear quite a lot about how Asherite Islam is despicable because its dogmatic, anti-rational, causalistic inherent principles don’t fit at all with the White character. That’s why it was overwhelmingly adopted only by brown races, to the point where “brown” and “Islam” justifiably became inseparable in the European mind.
To be fair, Mutezilite and Suffi Islam are different animals altogether — but what the hell does a doctrine that’s been declared heretical some thousand years ago and an esoteric cult have to do with what billions of non-whites believe in and are animated by today!?

The point where you’ve been correct is calling out Alt-light grifters like Tommy Robinson for concentrating on religion to the detriment of race. Well, I guess there are some C-C readers whose cats aren’t already fully cognizant of why that’s bad; so here’s a bowl of crème!
Good comment, but we should oppose alien religions as well as races (obviously – I truly hope obviously – by “alien religions” I am not referring to Middle East-originated Christianity, which no one can deny the white man made truly his own; I’m talking about all other religions). I’ve met some basically, debatably “white” Muslims (one was a Turk, looked sort of Ashkenazi Jewish; the other was I believe some kind of Chechen or Abkhaz or from some other tribe long internal to Russia). In the US we might say each looked like a “European ethnic”. I’m sure that genetically (and certainly visually, which is a component of racial identity) they weren’t too different from Southern European ethnics whose whiteness most of us would grant. But civilizationally and psychologically, they are not our people, and never will be. Albanians are not really white men, either.
Wilmot Robertson in The Dispossessed Majority had it right when he averred that, while race is of course a biological reality, it also has a subjective element (I presume he was referring to racially marginal or borderline cases). We can call a Christian Armenian-American a white man (if he himself so identifies) even if he is racially identical to some individual Muslim Syrian-“German”. Cultural relatedness comes into play at the margins. Perhaps the same is true for slightly mixed blooded whites. What should we do with a proud white man who happens to have had an Indian squaw or Negress as a great-grandmother, with the other 7/8ths being solidly white? Or, from another direction, with an unarguably indigenous European man who converts to Islam (ie, joins forces with the faith of a religiously defined civilization which has indeed been waging war on Euroman for 14 centuries)?
But I do agree completely with your point that the focus must be on race before religion. Race is the Great Unbridgeable Chasm. The problem for Europe is not primarily let alone exclusively Islam (though it is a real threat independent of the racial change its growing European presence embodies), but the state-coerced and supported alien demographic invasions.
Greece has been enslaved by the Turks for over 400 hundred years.

I find most British Muslims I meet (a biased sample, to be sure) to be pleasant hard-working people, but I think our nation has travelled far enough in the direction of Islamification. I would be opposed to further concessions to Islamic dress and doctrine in schools and most certainly to the broadcasting of the ‘call to prayer’ now being demanded in certain areas. I have no wish to become a Muslim or to see Britain become Muslim-majority.
That’s a little weak medicine for a presumed white patriot in these internet parts. Here is what must be done (in rough order):
First, all nonwhite immigration invasion to UK/Europe must be halted. Second, all existing and known illegal aliens must be summarily deported. Third, any illegal alien amphibious assaults must be repulsed at sea via lethal naval power. Fourth, any state-sponsored/required acknowledgement of or concessions toward Muslim holidays, dress or cuisine must be terminated immediately. Fifth, all welfare benefits to immigrants must be terminated immediately. Sixth, all immigrants must be deregistered from voter rolls and disallowed from voting. Seventh, all immigrants must be forbidden from serving in militaries or constabularies. Eighth, marriage between immigrants and natives must be disallowed, and all past marriages annulled. Ninth, special surtaxes must be levied on all immigrant workers. Tenth, all extensions of citizenship to non-Europeans must be annulled. Finally, eleventh, all nonwhites, regardless of place of birth, must ultimately be physically expatriated from European soils, and returned to their ancestral homelands (or elsewhere).
This is the racial-national component of the white nationalist agenda for Europe.
Good piece — a great relief to read someone else making this point. I find British and US Black culture unbearably coarse and infantile — like being imprisoned in a classroom full of the worst idiots and bullies remembered from childhood. Why must we constantly genuflect to these simpletons — to the point of ripping up our own civilisation lest it ‘offend’ them (which is a certainty)?
Example — every time a Black actor is anachronistically inserted into some piece of ‘high culture’ drama for film or television, the effect is piteous: awkward acting and terrible diction. Unfortunately the murder rate may continue to spiral higher for several years at a minimum, until we have an administration that is not so obviously a malignant antiwhite tumor. In Indianapolis at least 53 whites have been victims of criminal homicide this year. There are less than 450,000 whites in Indianapolis. 1.7 million border crossings in 12 months. Leaky vax genetic engineering mandates. 1/6 protesters abused in prison. What is going on in this country?

By “deviationist” I mean people who do not accept the crackpottiness that passes for political orthodoxy these days. David Duke is that, the character issue does not interest me.
For many of us, his book My Awakening was a splendid cocktail of information and a valuable eye opener for those still ignorant. Whatever his sins that makes him worth plenty.
The sins of writers and politicians are well known. Duke is both. “Ye without sin cast the first stone” and all that.
Pull the plug on both. LEO’s are absolutely not your friend, white man. They’re the enforcers of this utterly corrupt system and only loyal to their paychecks and pensions. Do you remember when President Trump (while in office) was suggested (provoked) via mass media (globalists) to use force (at federal level) to quell riots in US cities instigated by the handlers of Black Lives Matter and other crisis actors and me-too fools ? He did not, by his own understanding or his advisers. Many were puzzled in the general public, even in his own base. He was also openly criticized for not doing that !
There are attentive observers who believe that the globalists want to defund police in order to federalize it and thus fully control it. The police is close to the people, too close. Indeed, many feel they are part of the community they police (the old fashioned way).
The globalists also push for vax mandate, which demoralizes police, firefighters, medical emergency responders, and others providing critical services to the local population.
Their goal is to put the population under controlled mental stress in order to minimize resistance to their “Build Back Better” agenda.
But they are afraid of societal collapse – after all, there will not be enough space on remote islands to survive the next deluge.
Hit the nail on the head. Certain states and the federal government are purposely trying to destroy local police departments so that we can transition to a federalized police force. No doubt about it. Keep in mind that it isn’t just the left or the democratic party that is behind this. The republican party is also wholeheartedly in favor of this as well, at least on the national level in congress. It is actually already happening. The FBI is being weaponized and used beyond it’s authority everyday. For example, the justice dept. instructing the FBI to “investigate” parents that speak up at school board meetings; going after Project Veritas over Biden’s daughter’s “stolen” diary; and constantly showing up and throwing their weight around in murder investigations, especially if there are multiple victims. I am sure there are countless other examples, those are just to name a few off the top of my head. A federalized police force is definitely something to be gravely concerned about.
The only thing the MSM did not criticize Trump for was his apathy to the riots (and his 2017 lobbing of missiles into Syria which all mainstream celebrated). Any criticism leveled at him during the BLM-Antifa festivities was from the right, and it was well-deserved. Jared must have told him to let it all burn and he will get the votes.
Good points – but what’s with the anti-vaxx crap? I and most (but not all) of my friends/family have been vaxxed. Um, what’s the big deal? We’re all doing fine. I truly don’t understand this anti-scientific attitude. You are correct, however, that Federal law enforcement is much less of a friend to the dispossessed majority than the local kind.

Good observations, but not remotely universally true. Many polls have been taken post-Floyd which have shown that a majority of (US) blacks (no idea re UK) want more cops on the beat. Take NYC. They just elected a former black cop, who ran on a moderately pro-law & order platform, as their mayor. What must be noted is that he had a very woke, very pro-Defund primary challenger (who I think was a mulatto, but strongly politically identified as black and BLM); he might have faced more than one Defunder. He was not carried to victory by the Manhattan whites and Jews, but by his nonwhite base. Defunder candidates across the US are mostly not winning the ghettos (or their elections).
OTOH, I’m sure you gents are correct that BLM is pure black nationalist + thug-supremacist, and that the urban goal of BLMers themselves is black autonomous (ie, black street gang) control of their own ‘hoods (in line with all other nationalist movements, they have many other goals, such as “slavery reparations” and other attempts at legally looting the white man). But I have yet to see persuasive evidence that this non-police position is that of most blacks.
the difference between policing in the United States and in the United Kingdom.
In the sixties, a British author (Kingsley Amis? Anthony Burgess?) wrote that when you heard a police siren in New York you thought, “law and order has broken down”; when you heard a police siren in London you thought, “law and order is being restored”. A sharp observation, and true at the time. (Although, back then, I believe British cop cars still had bells.) Alas, in today’s demographically changed landscape there’s precious little difference between the US and the UK.

Me too. I can’t help but picture the unsuspecting black activist naively engaging Counter-Currents’ very own Jim Goad in a conversation about race.
As a fellow Brit, I recognised everything in this article as a fair and accurate description of our police force. It is also increasingly true of our judiciary.
Judges in England and Wales are appointed by the Judicial Appointments Commission, which is made up of a majority of public sector/HR professionals who embody current orthodoxy, plus a minority of serving judges who know that promotion and a comfortable career depend on it. Don’t underestimate the comfortable career point. If you play the game, you get to hear interesting cases with decent advocates. If you don’t, you spend your days listening to tedious and trivial disputes between mad people acting in person.
In order to become a judge in England, you have to demonstrate an active commitment to “equality and diversity”. In order to be promoted, you must do the same. About a year ago, a barrister was found guilty of professional misconduct for observing, with absolute justification from the evidence, that a particular judge was a diversity hire. Joshua Rozenberg, our leading legal journalist, has commented that six out of seven of the last Masters of the Rolls (ie most senior civil judges) were Jewish. One was homosexual as well.
The old stereotype of judges as social and political conservatives is now completely out of date. The system has become horribly corrupted.
In his melancholy lament Notes on the Death of Culture, Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa mentions that when he first visited England in the 1960s he was astonished that most people had such respect for the police and judiciary. In South America and on the Continent everyone took it for granted that laws were passed by the elites to serve their own interests.
Llosa claims that Brits weren’t naive; in the sixties it was (more or less) the case that the legal establishment saw its primary duty as maintaining order for the common good. Unfortunately, he notes, today in the UK, no-one still believes that. Politicians and judges are now rightly viewed as belonging to a corrupt, self-serving clique.
There’s no point in appealing to blacks to be less shit. That would imply they are capable of shame and morals, which most of them aren’t.
There’s a scene at the end of the 1964 movie The Fall of the Roman Empire where, upon the death of the emperor Commodus, various oligarchs bid much denarii for the imperial purple. This scene is based on an incident which occurred in AD 193 where the Praetorian Guards actually did hold such an auction (over a different emperor).
With that in mind, some thoughts on the law enforcement officer (LEO) front…
There used to be a Bircher meme about supporting your local police and keeping them local against the encroaching federal-globalist Regime. The Dissident Right currently has more enemies than it needs, there’s nothing to be gained from turning LEO into another foe.
Obviously, relations between the Dissident Right and LEO have frequently been rocky for reasons which I need not retread here. But as noted, LEO agencies are one of the few remaining institutions which stand in the way of the New World Order aka Great Reset aka Build Back Better ™, or whatever we care to call the current revolution from above.
The Dissident Right can give LEO ideological reasons to stay on the job. Videos, articles, statistics, showing up at public meetings, open letters to da chief, whatever. LEO can stand firm in the face of anarcho-tyranny and act as a sort of bridgehead in hostile terrain.
No free ideological lunch. More average Americans are losing faith in law enforcement. Joe/Jane Sixpack may “Back the Blue.” Then they see the police standing down when the rioters come to town while putting in the hammer on people who do not mask.
Quid pro quo. If the Dissident Right is to support LEO then LEO actually have to get on the side of the traditional American people.
It’s easy enough to blame LEO for the policies they enforce (or fail to enforce). There is the “do your twenty and collect a pension” mindset which is prevalent among, what, 80% of LEO. Which gives 20% who will make some kind of a stand. Not too shabby numbers, especially if they control an apparatus like a police union.
It’s not (in general) the police who choose to stand down in the face of rioters while arresting people who fail to mask. It’s the politicians who give them their orders. And behind the politicians is the usual array of leftwing pressure groups and lawyers and feds. This is one reason for backing police unions as they are capable of some organized pushback.
There are police chiefs and county sheriffs who have refused to enforce masking orders, and others who support Second Amendment sanctuaries. One suspects there are plenty of LEO out there looking to inflict some well directed payback against the globalists and their street minions. Ideological direction is needed here.
The Regime may have won Round One in 2020-21. But there is a much longer game being played. The Dissident Right can open a new front here.

Agree 100%. WNs should push for Federal LE Defunding, while always being careful to be seen as pro-local LEO (and especially white ones). A lot of white cops are conservatives (that is spoken from some amount of proximate if still technically vicarious experience, but not from ideology).
I have to agree with what the author said about blacks being generally useless at manual labor. I work in the construction industry for a large general contractor in the States. Every single black field employee that I’ve seen at the job sites I’ve been on has caused problems. They are lazy, surly and can’t seem to understand that the same rules we all have to follow apply to them also. I’m also disgusted with blacks’ overall obnoxious behavior, and how much they cost us. I’ve seen estimates from such sites such as “Those Who can See” that each black here costs Ametican taxpayers about 10000 dollars per year. They also blight everything they touch. As my late stepfather used to say, “Bringing them here is the biggest mistake that this country ever made”. He was right.
This is a huge part of the reason why so many otherwise fairly conservative businessmen have been pro-immigration over the decades since the 60s saw the opening of the borders to alien colonization. Not all of them were simple greedmongers who wanted to use cheap imported labor to scab the unions, and otherwise artificially lower the unit cost of labor. I’ve known some who basically said, horrified, “Without the Mexicans we’d have to hire blacks”- something which for them was an argument clincher. Of course, the free market would have had a response to this (ie, to a shutdown in immigration): raise the worker wages to their true fair market level (ie, the level at which the market need would be met domestically, without the economic cheating of reaching outside the national labor pool for workers). For a while this would have lessened the supply of workers, thus raising some costs in the short term (which would then get passed on to end users or purchasers). Longer term, with the wages of, say, construction workers skyrocketing, there would have been more new entrants into that field. Imagine every construction job paying $200,000 per year. That would attract the good white men needed.
Yeah, sure, Blacks can and should police themselves. We see what a lovely job they do patrolling their own neighborhoods in Chicago right along, and read the Monday morning statistics of how many of their own citizens somehow managed to have gotten themselves shot and/or killed the past weekend. They just need a little more tweaking and spiffing up their game.
