The 1992 United States presidential election was one in which both candidates for the two mainstream parties offered the electorate nothing more than sweeping neo-liberal economic policies as well as continued military involvement in far-off foreign lands. The third-party candidate who had different ideas was Ross Perot, a Texas billionaire.
