Male Supremacism in the United States?

    2,007 words

Male Supremacism in the United States:
From Patriarchal Traditionalism to Misogynist Incels and the Alt-Right
Series: Routledge Studies in Fascism and the Far Right
Emily K. Carian, Alex DiBranco, Chelsea Ebin (Editors)
Abingdon (Oxon) & New York: Routledge, 2022

Despite its beguiling title and subtitle, I am sorry to report that this new book from Routledge Studies in Fascism and the Far Right is a very sloppy doggy’s dinner. (more…)

South African Hunter Mistakes Black Woman for Hippo, Shoots It

If you search the name “Ramokone Linah” on Google Images, you’ll see several pictures of hippopotami but zero snapshots of the black South African woman named Ramokone Linah, who was shot by a white Afrikaner because he mistook her for a hippopotamus. (more…)

Just in Time for Riot Season, Another Black Criminal Suspect Dies after Vibrantly Resisting Arrest

As the days grow longer and the calla lilies are in bloom again and a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love, a restless American nation-within-a-nation of 47 million perpetually disgruntled ex-Africans yearns for an excuse to burn down cities until winter comes again and even the glowing embers of once-great metropolises make it too damned cold to comfortably riot. A Response to Dr. Robert Jensen

    Dr. Robert Jensen

    2,519 words

I found Dr. Robert Jensen’s recent interview at Counter-Currents with Hubert Collins refreshing and thought-provoking. It is very seldom that a Leftist academic is willing to have a discussion with White Nationalists at all, and I admire his open-mindedness. He articulated the basis of his outlook very well. Most Leftists take their own outlook for granted and never explain why anyone else ought to share their positions; they react with hysteria to any disagreement. (more…)

10 Questions for Radical Feminist Robert Jensen

    Robert Jensen

    3,414 words

Robert Jensen is an archetypal Leftist academic: a feminist, an anti-capitalist, an anti-imperialist, and someone who belivies in institutional racism. He was denouncing “white privilege” well before doing so became fashionable, and his feminism is of the radical variety, at odd’s with today’s wishy-washy “girl boss” posturing. I read his book Getting Off: Pornography and the End of Masculinity as a teenager, and was impressed that unlike most conservative critics of porn, Prof. Jensen had actually done his homework. The Writers’ Bloc with Kathryn S. on The Ancient City

    128 words / 2:00:23

The indubitable longtime Counter-Currents writer Kathryn S. was host Nick Jeelvy‘s guest on the last episode of The Writers’ Bloc, where they discussed Numa Denis Fustel de Coulanges’ The Ancient City, a history of the religion of the ancient world and the society it founded, and it is now available for download and online listening. Neovaginas and Why They Stink

In almost no time at all — seemingly less time than it takes to surgically repurpose part of a slimy colon or an inverted scrotum into a fake vagina — trannies have become the Jews of Sexuality. Make one snide comment about them, and you will forever be banished from polite society. This may not be as bad as it seems, though, seeing as how “polite society” these days hinges around supremely impolite topics such as the bacterial climate inside manmade vaginas. (more…)

    The Fountainhead of White America:

    Richard Lyman Bushman
The American Farmer in the Eighteenth Century

New Haven, Connecticut: Yale University Press, 2018

Most of us who are not farmers are tempted to take farming for granted. We certainly see the results of farming in the produce sections of our supermarkets. Beyond that, we have pleasant images of industrious country folk in denim overalls just doin’ their thing amid amber waves of grain. (more…)

    Emmanuel Todd’s Lineages of Modernity

    6,392 words

The idea that the norms implanted upon us by our families affect our personalities and our prospects in life is almost a truism. The idea that there is a strong relationship between the Western nuclear family and liberal modernity is no longer controversial, and so is the idea that different family types have existed across the world and that these types have played a significant role in the historical trajectories of the cultures of the world. Some are aware of the so-called “Hajnal line” proposed in 1965 by John Hajnal, (more…)

    Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here,
And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full
    Of direst cruelty! make thick my blood;
Stop up the access and passage to remorse,
That no compunctious visitings of nature
Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between
The effect and it! Come to my woman’s breasts,

Lineages of Modernity: A History of Humanity from the Stone Age to Homo Americanus
Cambridge, England, and Medford, MA: Polity Press, 2019
