Conservatism Without White Men

Jim Goad

Britain’s new “conservative” Prime Minister, Liz Truss (right), has just appointed the first cabinet in British history including no white men.

1,496 words

In a 2009 essay for the for the London Evening Standard titled “Don’t listen to the whingers — London needs immigrants,” former Tony Blair speechwriter and Labour Party advisor Andrew Neather famously likened his government’s immigration policy to a dog owner rubbing the disobedient pooch’s nose in shit:

. . . mass immigration was the way that the Government was going to make the UK truly multicultural. I remember coming away from some discussions with the clear sense that the policy was intended — even if this wasn’t its main purpose — to rub the Right’s nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date.

Stubbornly unattractive British conservative pundit Melanie Phillips inferred from Neather’s comments that the Labour Party’s immigration policy “was done to destroy forever what it means to be culturally British and to put another ‘multicultural’ identity in its place. And it was done without telling or asking the British people whether they wanted their country and their culture to be transformed in this way.”

The British people are having their noses rubbed in diversity again — but this time, the Conservative Party is doing it.

Newly sworn-in British Prime Minister Liz Truss — whose surname conjures unpleasant images of a hernia-containment device and whose face resembles that of a bird that has undergone extensive cosmetic reconstructive surgery after having its face pecked apart by other birds — has replaced the perpetually disheveled white male Boris Johnson.

The press has gone gaga with glee at the fact that for the first time in English history, no white men will be occupying the country’s four “great offices of state”:

The Times: “Great offices of state set to contain no white men”
Liz Truss is preparing to appoint the first cabinet in history in which none of the great offices of state will be held by a white man.

Bloomberg: Truss’s UK Cabinet Is First With No White Men in Biggest Jobs
Liz Truss’s new government will be the UK’s first without a White man holding one of the so-called four great offices of state. . . . The incoming premier named Kwasi Kwarteng as Chancellor of the Exchequer, making him Britain’s first Black finance minister. Suella Braverman, who is of Indian heritage, was appointed home secretary, while James Cleverly, who identifies as mixed race, was assigned the role of top diplomat as foreign secretary.

The Daily Mail: Liz Truss puts finishing touches to diverse new Government: No place for white men in great offices of state . . .
“None of the great offices of state are set to be held by a white man in her plan….It will be the first time in history for chancellor, foreign and home secretary roles….Liz Truss will become prime minister tomorrow and is expected to appoint a Cabinet featuring no white men in the great offices of state for the first time.

Axios: “U.K. Prime Minister Truss’ cabinet is first without white men in top jobs”
New British Prime Minister Liz Truss began to unveil her cabinet on Tuesday, and for the first time ever there will be no white men in any of the U.K.’s four “Great Offices of State.” . . . Truss . . . named Kwasi Kwarteng as treasury secretary, James Cleverly as foreign secretary and Suella Braverman as home secretary — filling out the senior-most cabinet posts. . . . All three are the children of immigrants. Kwarteng’s parents moved to the U.K. from Ghana, Braverman’s arrived from Kenya and Mauritius (though both are of Indian ancestry), and Cleverly’s mother emigrated from Sierra Leone. . . . Like Truss, they are all on the right flank of the Conservative Party. Some commentators have contended that Truss will lead the most right-wing government in recent history.

Whoa — “the most right-wing government in recent history” will have zero white males in the top slots! This implies that being “right wing” has nothing to do with being a white male. And as much guff and bunkum as I’m going to get for saying it, I tend to agree with this premise. I can anticipate some of you carping that the true Right wing is inextricably intertwined with both whiteness and maleness. But the very term “Right wing” is a purely subjective social construct that cannot be quantified, whereas a DNA test can determine your European ancestry. A chromosome test can definitively declare whether you’re a male or female.

And if you’re someone who can be verified through modern science to be both white and male, I feel compelled to tell you that neither the Right nor the Left has your interests in mind. I’m not denying that the demon scourge of Evil White Maleness is an extremely political topic; I’m saying that the idiotically simplistic Left/Right political binary is designed to undermine white males from both ends. Both sides are actively hostile to your interests, so it might serve you to stop looking at things in terms of “Left and Right” and more in terms of “male and white.”

You can buy Jim Goad’s Whiteness: The Original Sin here.

On Tuesday, the disgraced white male Boris Johnson tendered his resignation to Queen Elizabeth. Shortly thereafter, Liz Truss visited the fossilized lady monarch and was formally and magically “approved” as Prime Minister, or whatever silly name the English use to label the process of transferring power. But it was two women — two white women — who transferred the power this time.

Truss then appointed three non-white children of immigrants as chancellor, home secretary, and foreign secretary. I’m assuming that in ten years, they’ll be appointing sweaty, disease-addled refugees fresh off the boat to top government positions, but even England’s leaders probably realize that such a blatant display of genetic replacement would be pushing things at this point.

But make no mistake about it: This will be a completely conservative government with tried-and-true conservative principles. According to the Associated Press, Truss “named a top team diverse in gender and ethnicity, but loyal to her and her free-market politics.”

Boris Johnson was no slouch in appointing non-whites, either; his three chancellors, including Rishi Sunak, Truss’ opponent in the scramble to find Johnson’s replacement, were all non-white. Johnson also featured non-white females such as Priti Patel and Suella Braverman in his cabinet. In the British version of “Democrats are the real racists,” the Conservative Party has been claiming all the way back to Margaret Thatcher that they offer more “diverse” candidates than Labour does.

While campaigning for prime minister, Truss described herself as a libertarian who will cut corporate taxes and “govern as a conservative.” She said that intangibles such as freedom and personal responsibility “resonate with the British people.” She ticks off all the “conservative” checkboxes. It’s the same corny bullshit you’ve heard from American Republicans for generations.

Truss is also a warmonger who has called for a “global NATO” and said she’s “ready” to start a nuclear war.

No woman should ever be near nuclear weapons. Especially a white woman who may be harboring deep-seated resentments toward white men. Especially a spiteful white woman named after a hernia belt.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, widely lauded for becoming the first Muslim mayor of a major Western capital, openly expresses resentment toward white men. In 2016, while running for mayor, Khan said that there were too many white men working for London’s transport authority. In 2021, he said that “There’s no good reason why 65% of people working in science and engineering should be white men . . . we’re working on fixing it.”

Fixing it.

Apparently this is why the British fought the Nazis, right? So England could be “fixed” to the point where there isn’t a white male to be found among its top four governmental officials and the mayor of its largest city.

Jim Goad

A mere hundred years ago, England had the largest empire in world history in terms of land mass — over a quarter of all terra firma on the planet.

And then the guilt started leaching, drip by drip, into the public consciousness. It coincided as the immigrants began arriving one by one.

As recently as 1981, the white percentage of the English population was 95.4%. According to the most recently available census reports — from 2011 — that quotient has dropped to 85.4%. Over the same 30-year time span, the percentage of “Asians” in England — which includes everyone from Turkey in the West to Japan in the East — has more than tripled from 2.3% to 7.8%. India and Pakistan are, respectively, the #1 and #3 sources of foreign-born groups in the United Kingdom. The results of the UK’s 2021 census won’t be released until October or November of this year, but it’s probably safe to assume that the percentage of whites has slipped in the past ten years.

According to an analysis of the saliva I spit into a small vial and sent to 23andme, 95.5% of my DNA derives from County Dublin and Greater London. The English and Irish admixture means I’m always at war with myself. It’s profoundly sad to see this happen to my ancestral homeland.

And they’re rubbing my nose in it. From both sides.

It has gotten so bad that even Nigel Farage has said that he hopes the Tories never again have power and that he while he was instrumental in deracinating the right wing from the British National Party over the last 30 years by channeling all that energy into the squandered Brexit, there is nothing holding back nativism this time because immigration has gotten so bad that he can’t be politically-correct about how awful Eastern European migrants are when it is Third Worlders pouring in. This is shaping up to be the final disaster for the United Kingdom. Over the last 15 years it has become nearly impossible for anybody but a Tory to become prime minister because England is now so right wing despite all the diversity in London and Manchester. But this neocon government will force the precarious Celtic coalitions to unite again against the Tories, which will require another Scottish independence referendum. Even more imminent is the border protocol in Northern Ireland offset by Brexit, which is driving a wedge between the EU and the UK just as nationalist Catholic demographics are overtaking loyalist Protestants. On top of this is surging Welsh nationalism who are diehard Labourites as it is. Literally the only thing holding together not just the UK, but also the remaining British Commonwealth, is the ailing queen, whose death will signal the end of British monarchy in favor of republicanism/federalism. I don’t think people realize how much this will effect the writ of the American Empire. English is the global lingua franca because the RAF and USAF were the only air forces left standing after WWII. Time to start studying up on other European languages.

Well Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II died earlier today. It certainly feels like the end of an era.

The test for PM Liz Truss’s ‘diverse’ cabinet is of course whether they have the fortitude to confront the slow-roll invasion of our island by the Afro-Islamic ‘refugees’ who arrive in rubber dinghies at our beaches in their hundreds every day. Presently these ‘asylum seekers’ are conveyed by the authorities into four star hotels wherein they reside indefinitely at the taxpayers expense.

Any move to stem the tide of incomers will involve withdrawing from international treaties, will send the left leaning media-legal-academic nexus into paroxysms of righteous indignation and may provoke an antifa-led campaign of civil disobedience. We shall see.

Conservatives in the UK, and republican in the US, are at least, not rabidly hostile to the Caucasian race. Republicans don’t endorse short prison sentences, homosexuality, transsexualism, reparations or higher taxes. It’s not the Dixiecrats, but it helps keep our heads above water and gives us time to hopefully win over more of our deluded people.

One would have to believe this last election was legit to think that we just need to convince a few more folks. There is no more voting our way out of this. Are you old enough to recall when Saddam Hussein received 100% of the votes? My guess is that is what whomever runs as a Democrat will see something like that in 2024.

You are being forced to choose, that’s for sure. Just not for any elected officials.

You are correct on Mr Trump, but how much of a “conservative” was he? He cut taxes and regulations, slowed illegal immigration (but failed to deport many illegals in the US) and opposed tearing down statues, reparations and other anti-White actions. Someone in the administration sold him on the idea that if he could peel off just a few more percentage points of black votes, he’d be a shoe-in. That was the “first step act” and his “platinum plan”. He received a few more black votes, but lost the election. In general, the repubs don’t hand money to blacks or support reparations and are sympathetic to White people and their history. Of course, there are a few exceptions.

I don’t buy the “guilt argument” as the excuse for white inactivity (in UK and elsewhere), I was born in the 90’s and never had guilt and know no one personally that does, whites lack positive racial consciousness as a group, thats a bigger reason than supposed guilt. Even a an ex American gf who I had to do away with when she seemingly out of nowhere became a Floydian posting on twitter about “white privilege”, lacked guilt and even was mildly anti-jew.

I’m from a working class background, as I see it mass immigration is class warfare from white elites and racial warfare by jews and assorted non-whites, guilt plays no real part in this, other than further poisoning of already infected minds of well off whites many of whom will adopt fascism tomorrow if that became the religious-like in-thing.

Whites are losers. That is the answer. We the race patriots are an elite minority of the race. White nationalists in the 1970s-80s were right to describe themselves as “aristocratic racial nationalists”. We must separate and become sovereign, or our race otherwise will go extinct.

Japan is said to be in a crisis.  It’s birthrate is declining and the shrinking population is skewed to older people.  The usual suspects suggest that the problem needs to be solved by immigration.  Being an island nation that writes in kanji and has myriad highly subtle social conventions, Japan won’t be a first choice to immigrants even if it were to aspire.  It will be an interesting test whether this “crisis” is really going to mean the end for Japan as we know it unless it expands globalist aspirations.  As Japan can trace its cultural roots back to at least the time of the Roman empire, they have weathered many crises already.  Unfortunately, many of us won’t be around to see how it turns out I guess.

As the UK is still over 80% white (compared to 60% in the US), the zero white guy cabinet is ominous.  But what are you going to do, vote for the liberal party?  I do see Republicans fearful of a permanent Democratic majority if they fail to gain the support of people of color.  So, I’d give them a pass for 1 round before creating a 3rd party.  But there is little worse for white guys than voter apathy.  Hey incel squirt, “Boomers” get a lot of political concessions because they show up at the polls.  Government officials are swayed by en masse voters and taxpayers.. and to some degree even by letters to them.  It’s a sign of a motivated, engaged person who likely votes.  When a lot of letters come in, especially if not printed off by some webpage form, they pay attention to an issue.  No offense but I’d suggest not putting your missive on Counter-Currents letterhead, yet.

The British territory of India was carved into India and Muslim Pakistan after the end of WW2.  There are many debated reasons but a primary one was a sizable Muslim population not wanting to be governed by India.  In 1971 Bangladesh split from Pakistan after a nationalist war, with much cheerleading from the West.  When the various immigrant and ideological groups in the west decide to split off, who will be left to cheer them on?

On the lighter side, Goad has treated us to more of his vivid interpretations of the physiognomy of his subjects.  Perhaps there is some sort of fundraising opportunity to have artists make sketches based purely upon some of his most decorous specifications like “[her] face resembles that of a bird that has undergone extensive cosmetic reconstructive surgery after having its face pecked apart by other birds”.

Does this sound familiar? Concepts such as “racial purity” and “divine race” died out with grandpa’s generation.

Let’s consider that further.  The USA has a population of 329 million and Japan 125 million.  Japan accepted 133 Afghan refugees since the Taliban took over, but the USA took 76,000.  If the US accepted them at the Japanese rate it would have taken 350 refugees.  Then lets count the 175000-222000 migrants detained PER MONTH at the US southern border (that’s not counting the ones who got through).

I think terms like “racial purity” immediately label one as a deviant in the eyes of the left and center and it ends the discussion.  But it should be fair game to expect guests to assimilate and not expect affirmative action, and the left diverts the discussion away from the economics (ex. Latinx immigrants are hurting the job prospects of descendants of slaves) to attack the other side simply as deplorables.

QE2 did precisely nothing to save her people from invasion and replacement. The British Royal family is a joke today. They deserve replacement themselves; after all, the sole reason for their royal privileges (and unlike anything ascribed to us poor white men, those privileges are real) is that they are supposed to embody the nation itself, past as well as present and future. The monarch is supposed to be Defender of the Realm. “Liz” defended nothing but her own place in the social firmament. Her reign was noticeable only for her lack of patriotism, and was despicable for it. Rest in shame.

I seem to recall the royals as having decisive say in this.  An old Royal Navy officer I  knew back-when told me he served “at the pleasure of Her Majesty the Queen” and not some gaggle of elected fops.  What the politicians had done to annoy him I never found out.  But he was a serving officer and made it clear it was the monarchs, not the hustlers, who had final say.

Anyway cheers to Goad and RIP to the longest serving monarch of the modern age.

I’m straying off-topic here, but to set the record straight, Charles II was pretty darned successful, especially considering what had happened in the decades before the 1660 Restoration, and the constraints under which he labored.  As historian Robert Tombs wrote, the upheavals of the first half of the 17th Century resulted in a seemingly permanent division of the English, yet Charles II walked a tightrope in some very perilous times, re-establishing the monarchy with a minimum of retribution against its enemies, overseeing a cultural and scientific renaissance in England, promoting English colonization in North America and maintaining relative peace except for war with the Dutch, and some political upheavals which didn’t reach the levels of the 1640’s.

And amidst horrors such as the Great Fire of London, Charles showed impressive leadership.  Sadly under his well-meaning but headstrong brother James II, things fell apart until the “Glorious Revolution.”

Any flag waving patriotism displayed by these charlatans is purely for electoral purposes.

Jim is spot-on in identifying the left/right divide as garbage, liberal globalists are the enemy and they inhabit both ‘sides’ of politics equally.
