3. Kindle Experiences

One reader in the US reports that the Kindle of David Duke’s My Awakening has been removed from his device. A second reader reports the deletion of unspecified titles by Harold Covington. Two other readers report no loss of CC titles.

4. Amazon Marketplace Experiences

One Amazon Marketplace seller reports being contacted to inform him that one Counter-Currents title and one Jared Taylor title that he had listed but sold had been removed from sale. He was informed that he had to close or delete his listings of these titles under threat of having his seller privileges revoked. Amazon’s communication was badly worded and ambiguous — ironic that semi-literate people work for the world’s biggest bookseller book banner — but it illustrates the crack brained totalitarian hysteria of this purge. Why do Amazon Marketplace sellers have to delete records of books? Can’t Amazon.com do that? And why would it even be necessary, given that the pages for these titles have been completely removed in the first place?

When Greg’s White Nationalist Manifesto was released, I thought, ‘I should purchase this and a bunch of other CC titles on Kindle, as they are in danger of being shoahed.’

This was only days ago. I’m sorry to say this fear came true. I am only missing 4 of CC’s titles from the above list. And I never got around to getting Covington’s books….

This must be devastating for you Greg. But it was always going to happen. The censorship will only get worse, and there is no situation where these jew run digital companies will reverse bans for evil racists.

So you must setup a method of being able to purchase PDF copies of your books on this website. Not many people want to buy physical copies of books anymore. I say this as someone who has 8 Ikea Billy bookshelves full of books. Even I now use Kindle and ebook readers.

You understand, there was a lot of antitrust talk about amazon before certain books were banned. Remember that? The books were banned and now amazon owns Whole Foods. It’s a brilliant strategy really. The government is coercing the private companies to engage in repression for it. This is what’s happening with the tech people too, although I imagine their heart was always there anyway. Did Lincoln Rockwell—a true “Nazi”—ever have difficulty for example opening a bank account? Could everyone simply arbitrarily refuse someone financial services? It’s got to be illegal at some level.

I have a few of the titles on Kindle. The items still appear in my library and are there in my order history. But the Amazon pages are no longer there.

This is really outrageous. Free speech includes not only the right to write what you want, but also the right to READ what you want. Whatever happened to consenting adults! Much of the material or at least the ideas will still be around online, but this will choke off yet another source of revenue going forward.

Just to give a sense of the bizarro world we live in, I want to point out that the American Library Association keeps a list of so-called “banned books.” Most of the titles were challenged for use in schools specifically, often by conservative parents who saw some of the books as being too profane or explicit for youth to be reading. But not wanting your elementary schooler reading “Daddy’s Roommate” in school isn’t exactly a ban. Such supposedly suppressed books have always been readily available for purchase and in fact the only thing being challenged is their artificial promotion in the school system.

    http://www.ala.org/advocacy/bbooks/frequentlychallengedbooks/top10

In contrast, here we are seeing books being straight up banned for purchase. They rationalize this as not really being banned because you could in theory try to sell pdf files from your own website or start your own competing ebook service or something. Beyond ridiculous.

    1. Benjamin says:
      March 6, 2019 at 3:19 pm

To paraphrase Hans Hermann Hoppe: democracy is merely a soft variant of communism.

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well armed sheep contesting the vote.

There’s nothing inherently contradictory about a democratic regime banning books, placing certain types of people into concentration camps (E.G., the Japanese during WWII, Socrates trial & execution!), etc. That’s actually the main idea of democracy, a sort of moral relativism wherein good or evil is determined by majority consensus.

Of course, where it is hypocritical is wherein democracy self-defines its self as “liberty for all to do as they wish” when the entire basis of the system is contradictory of that. However, I get what you mean.

Ironically, all of these bans are leaving The Culture of Critique at the top of the list on almost every conservative and Rightist book listing. With any luck it will bring fame to his work and engender mass redpilling on the real problem (or the root of the problem). Once that ‘question’ is answered, the answers to the others are obvious – and no one answers it with greater elan than Dr MacDonald.

Covington/Northwest Front’s ‘White Book’ has also been banned. I know it was never supposed to be available except to members of the NF but Amazon sold two editions (both PB) of it until recently. The pages are missing.

I don’t know about March Up Country. I never read it or bought it, and I bought every Covington novel I could on Amazon in 2016 (assuming Amazon stocked all of them), and never got that one, which is presumptive evidence they didn’t stock it then.

About censorship. It is not just the prowhite crusade feeling the sting. Vaccine truth organizations are in the crosshairs as well, and it is getting bad. The queen bee of the National Vaccine Information Center, Barbara Loe Fisher, has made a youtube video (how long will it be there, I wonder) describing censorship and what those opposed to mandatory vaccination are facing – and what they will have to do. And that it applies to everyone, not just those opposed to mandatory innoculation.

    From her video:

“Has the internet been hijacked by Wall Street? It sure looks that way. An electronic wall is being built to block you from getting information you want so you get only the information someone else decides you need. An electronic burning of the books has begun and the people are being silently herded into a virtual dark age. While this conversation is starting about health and vaccination, it will not end there. Those who have bought and controlled internet now have the power to restrict or block any kind of information they do not want you to see or talk about with your family, friends and others you connect with online.

So who is doing the judging of what is truth and what is “fake news” online?
    …

In this time of oppression, we cannot know what needs to be done unless we go forward with our eyes wide open, understanding the new reality without fearing it. It is time to collect, preserve and cherish the good books, articles, films, videos and podcasts that have been published about vaccination and share them with our family and friends; time to save and download to our computers and external hard drives the written and video information still online that we want to keep and share with our children and our grandchildren. Time to expand the open public record by attending, testifying at and recording every legislative hearing, every town hall gathering, and every federal vaccine advisory committee meeting where people discuss vaccination or attempt to eliminate the human right to autonomy and censor freedom of thought and speech.”

    https://www.nvic.org/NVIC-Vaccine-News/December-2018/internet-police-protect-you-from-freedom-of-speech.aspx

What this speaker has to say applies to us here as well.

PS. I am not hijacking your topic in order to present my other “little” hobby-horse, which claim has been made in the past here a few years ago. This IS about us. Thank you kindly.

I’d venture to guess that the danger of vaccines is vastly over-stated, because the amount of dangerous chemicals you receive from vaccines is a drop in the bucket compared to all the dangerous chemicals you get from your everyday diet– E.G., xeno-estrogens, BPA-like chemicals, RX runoff in the tap water, pollution in the air, etc in far, far, far higher amounts.

I’d venture to guess the biggest conspiracy regarding vaccines is a conspiracy of Big Pharma to make more money by selling you unnecessary shots.

We hear, for instance, of trace amounts of mercury present in vaccines. However, how much more mercury would someone who eats a tuna sandwich once a week take into his body over the course of a year? I have no idea, but I’d rekon far more.

That said though, I’d also venture to guess they’re targeting anti-vax conspiracy theorists because they’re a “soft target” that will be used to set a precedent for going after other “dangerous ideas” in the future, same with the Moon landing and Flat Earth conspiracy theorists.

Additionally, “subversive” ideas tend to travel in packs, and the “Domino Theory” of questioning the system– people who question 1 or 2 mainstream ideas are far more likely to question others, leading down a dangerous rabbit hole.

      1. Stronza says:

That is correct. That’s the point. But that does not entitle anyone to ignore the realities of socalled innoculation. They only thing vaccines innoculate anyone against is the possibility of good health. However, in Amerikwa, as long as you can stand upright, and maybe go to work every day, that’s all you require to be considered healthy. You can be taking 10 prescription drugs to keep the Angel of Death from your door (for awhile) and you’re still “healthy”.

I’d venture to guess that the danger of vaccines is vastly over-stated, because the amount of dangerous chemicals you receive from vaccines is a drop in the bucket compared to all the dangerous chemicals you get from your everyday diet…

It’s not “you” receiving vaccine-borne chemicals, it’s babies and growing children. About 54 doses by the time they are 18 years of age, and starting at 2 months of age. And more in some cases.

Have the last word. Just wanted to remind you once again that you and your “subversive” ideas are next down the line, maybe they already are, which you of course know. But it’s not your ox being gored with the vaccine issue, is it, so don’t worry. Get your kids poked if you want and your precious annual Flu Shot too. But while I’m here, maybe you could let me know why the US government has a Vaccine Injury Compensation Plan, the purpose of which is to hold vaccine mfrs unaccountable, this plan having paid out $4,000,000,000 to date. You’re paying for it.

      Yeah, its a double-edged sword.

E.G., almost the entirety of WN 1.0 (e.g., GLR, Stormfront, etc) are liabilities. Dudes with really cringy ideas that present very, very bad optics and hinder us more than help.

You look at Europe, where they don’t have a 1st Amendment and hate speech is banned, and you see far more articulate, well dressed, and sane-sounding right-wing movements, such as Generation Identity.

You look at America, where any yahoo can speak his mind, and you see all this cringy sperging that turns off normies.

I don’t like the idea of any censorship, whether its of Nazis, communists, feminists, or what-have-you. This shouldn’t be happening. However, we can’t deny the double edge of the free speech sword.

    Regards

Yes you can buy all CC books here except for titles that are out of print.

I bought my copy of The White Nationalist Manifesto last October from Alibris.com. Reason: They had the best price. Alibris still carries the book, by the way.

FYI, I have two on the ban list still available on my Kindle(s).

    And here’s a potential idea for CC staff . . .

Contact this Trib reporter, remind him of his column last fall during “banned books week.”

    https://www.chicagotribune.com/lifestyles/books/ct-books-biblioracle-0930-20180925-story.html

See if he’ll put his $ (job) where his mouth (opening paragraph) is. Moreover, track down any other journalist who wrote similar paeans to free expression during that annual exercise in leftist sanctimony.

Getting just one to do an expose on Amazonian censorship, particularly in light of Sen. Warren’s recent proposal to regulate big tech, may help the cause with earned media.

Tall order, no doubt, but may turn up the rare old-school liberal who recalls the days when 1A issues transcended ideology and also may find the anti-corporatocracy angle appealing.

Of course, always keeping Hunter S. Thompson’s definition of journalism*, along with (((who))) controls the media, at top of mind.

  45. John Public says:

MacDonald’s Culture of Critique and SAID have both been banned. The top result for ‘Culture of Critique’ is now ‘An Aftocentric Critique of European Thought and Culture’ ????????????????????????

Amazon has gone too far. I’ve canceled all of my subs and orders. This is beyond belief.

  46. John Public says:
    March 12, 2019 at 5:11 am

Understanding Jewish Influence and Cultural Insurtections have also been banned.

Maybe someone will finally believe me that Solzhenitsyn’s criticism of the thrice-damned tribe and their baneful influence actually was banned during this rollup now!

‘The Case for Israel’ and ‘The Israel Test’ are both available. Now we know who is behind these efforts: the longnoses and Dees.

As long as MacDonald was still available people would have eventually come to the truth on all cultural and ethnic questions. Now, if one goes through all of Amazon, one would think they’ve never been asked, and people will remain silent, thinking they’re the only one who has ever thought it. There is now no criticism of the Tribe available on Amazon, and most of the searches have been manipulated to return doubleplus goodthink books in the top results.

I predicted this. Look for them to ban ‘self-hating Jews’ like Shahak and Finkelstein next.

  47. Dylan Grant says:
    March 13, 2019 at 3:09 pm

You can add Kevin Macdonald’s books to that list now as well. At least by doing all of this the USUAL SUSPECTS are making it easier and easier to piece together who controls this society.

Banning books makes you want to buy them. Banning books subconsciously avails their theses, whatever that may be. These fools really don’t get it.
