As Kevin Deanna has observed, every election is now the most important election of our lifetimes, and we are always one electoral defeat away from total disaster.

It didn’t used to be that way. Twenty years ago, it was easy for White Nationalists to be indifferent to electoral politics because, from our point of view, there were no real choices between the major political parties. Our options were only slightly different versions of anti-whitism: open borders, globalization, multiculturalism, and pandering to perpetually aggrieved minorities. Emile Zola’s 1892 novel Le  Débâcle is almost familiar reading these days, for when I recall this book, while set in the supposedly serene and ordered nineteenth century, has a horror of déjà vu that shrouds America, Iran, and the Donald.

The novel, part of a series Zola wrote to capture France in the nineteenth century and especially the Second Empire, deals with the collapse of Napoleon III’s empire from the Franco-Prussian war of 1870 as told through the eyes of French soldiers Jean Macquart and Maurice Levasseur; the first a peasant and former soldier and the second, a bourgeois. It’s nearly impossible to explain to anyone who doesn’t try to publish essays from the perspective of the Dissident Right just how difficult it is to get certain opinions published. Even a willing interlocutor has trouble comprehending just how impenetrable the wall is between the institutions curating public opinion and the public itself.

Until very recently those opinions deemed verboten would have included fairly anodyne conservative sentiments. (more…)

Given his current falling out with Sir Keir Starmer over the Iran War, I would like to hereby suggest the President begin calling the dismal UK Prime Minister “Sir Taqiyya” instead. If by some miracle Trump happens to be reading this article (and Donald Trump reading would indeed be a miracle) he may need some initial instruction in what this abusive moniker means, though. We are republishing this interview from August 2, 2021, due to the DOJ’s recent indictment against the SPLC.

Glen Allen is a Baltimore attorney who lost his job working for the City in August 2016 thanks to actions taken by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Because Allen once allegedly supported William Pierce’s National Alliance (NA), SPLC officials Heidi Beirich and Mark Potok allegedly pressured the city leaders to fire Allen, which they did. Allen responded by filing suit in December 2018 in the district court for the District of Maryland, demanding millions in damages and claiming that the SPLC’s tax-exempt status should be revoked for its alleged violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
