1. The Counter-Currents 2025 Fundraiser: A New $7,000 Matching Grant

Thanks to a generous donor, the next $7,000 donated to Counter-Currents will be matched dollar for dollar.

Our fundraiser total now stands at $85,154.97. Thank you for your help! Our goal this year is  $300,000, and we are now more than $55,000 behind where we were at the same time last year ($140,554.92). Generally, the rule is that 50% of fundraising happens in the last quarter of the year. Which means that we are not likely to meet our goal unless we get to $150,000 by the end of the month. It seems impossible. But let’s try to make that happen!

There are many ways to donate to Counter-Currents, but the easiest is with an e-check donation. All you need is your checkbook.

2. This Saturday on Counter-Currents Radio

Greg Johnson welcomes Endeavour back to catch up on Canadian politics, discuss slopulism and conspiracy theories, scroll the timeline, and of course answer your questions.

Join us at Noon Pacific/3 PM Eastern/9 PM Central European Time on:

  • Odysee: https://odysee.com/@countercurrents/Endeavour-Returns
  • DLive:  https://dlive.tv/Counter-Currents
  • Send questions & donations to Entropy:  entropystream.live/countercurrents

You can buy Kerry Bolton’s More Artists of the Right, which contains an extensive essay on T. S. Eliot,  here.

3. Remembering Martin Heidegger and T. S. Eliot

Today is the birthday of two great thinkers of the the twentieth century Right: Martin Heidegger and T. S. Eliot. To read more about their lives, works, and legacy for the New Right, see our commemorations of Heidegger here and Eliot here.

4. Your Chance to Own a Piece of Meme History

The “Happy Merchant” is the most famous cartoon since Mickey Mouse. Its creator, A. Wyatt Mann, has been drawing cartoons for decades. People have been copying, adapting, and merchandising his work for years, but he was not in it for the money. I just donated a couple of weeks ago. I vaguely recall that you get some kind of weird error messsage ─ but if you ignore it and continue, the e-check will get cashed. It has been that way for some time, which is why I no longer notice it.

      🙂

Sounds like that pajeet work we have been hearing about. I have been paying all my bills online for several years, recently two of my services’ websites have went down, and they have reverted to paper billing—I’m thinking it’s pajeet work. 🙃

Hey Peter, as I mentioned to Ultrarightist, please write to me at [email protected].  When I’m back in the office next I will be happy to look at the circumstances of your attempt and figure out what the problem is.  Of course if you’ve decided you’d prefer the “snail mail” route that works too.  I’m sorry I’m just replying to this; I don’t always see every comment. But any issue sent to the orders inbox is one I’ll see and be able to get on pretty quick.

We sincerely appreciate you and your support, and I’m sorry for any hassle you experienced trying to give it!

Ultrarightist, please write to me at [email protected] and we’ll figure out what the problem is.  There are many error codes that the payment processor can return to us, so the quickest/easiest way to get it resolved is to discuss privately your individual situation.

I’m sorry you’ve had problems with it, and for your inconvenience. We appreciate your attempt to donate (and you!) very much.  Write me an email and I will reply when I’m back in the office.

P-l-e-a-s-e  do  consider getting a p.o. box for donations where I could drop CC a cashier’s check.

I’ll have $ to donate within the week.  I have outdated hardware AND software that can’t keep up with all the remote malicious attacks I instantly receive nearly every time I try to donate anywhere electronically (not just to you.)  I do zero banking online.

I know I can’t possibly be the only person that is experiencing this.

They do have a post office box, just look at the pdf form for ordering books, it’s at the top of the form. Their address is:

      Counter-Currents Publishing

      P.O. Box 22638

      San Francisco, CA 94122-0638

I have been sending them check donations, and checks for books for years; it takes them forever to cash checks. For example, I mailed in a donation, and book order on 08/29/2025, and they still haven’t cashed them yet. I mail my donations out the first of the month, and it is always like this—they only check their mailbox once a month. So be prepared for a long wait for them to cash them. 🙃

Hi Kim.  I’m just seeing the messages about issues you and others have had making donations/payments via echeck.  Will you please write to me at [email protected] and explain your situation?  I am sorry for the trouble you’ve had to deal with.  The echeck payment processor can return any number of error messages that block a payment.  Sometimes those can be overridden, sometimes they can’t, depending on which code is returned, and sometimes the determination can be quite arbitrary (or so it seems). Also, as you’ve suggested, the old foolproof PO-Box approach by check/cash/money order/etc. is often a good alternative, if you can wait for the delays inherent to it; and, yes, as Peter Quint has said, we do have a PO Box.

The “Insider” badge beside your name means you support Counter Currents, and I assure you that no one here takes that for granted, no matter how great or small anyone’s donation amount.  I have no idea exactly what happened to cause what I’ll call a rift here in the comments, but suffice to say it was likely a misunderstanding.  (I’m just “wandering in off the street,” as it were, so won’t pretend to know.)  But in my opinion it would be unfortunate for that to result in a severed relationship between a bunch of dissidents who all ended up here together and usually get along quite well.

Please write to me in the orders inbox and I’ll help you get things sorted out any way I can.  We appreciate your support, Kim, and we appreciate you.

I believe she’s objecting to the implied sentiment of that song and saying that she feels Counter-Currents can do without her money.

Having listened to it now, I think it’s not nearly as bad as the original gangster rap “song” it’s a cover of.

“Hilarious that you are in effect white knighting for gangsta rap by throwing a fit about a rap parody. Bye.”

Greg Johnson, Ph.D., I know we live in a texty culture that seems to preclude complete sentences, but terse replies, and those without subject + verb, don’t help so much when trying to clarify confusion.

Please know:  For the first time in years, I’ve caught a *really* bad cold, so I’m not working at 100%.  That said, the last time I made a donation using the CC e-check, I felt like I was belittled for not being “techy” enough.  When Ultrarightest  said it didn’t work for him, and then was mocked, I wanted to offer that I too had a previous issue with trying to send electronic donations.

Positioned under your plea for CC donations, Gam’s reference to having a laugh at worthless ‘bitches’, after he had just dunked on Ultrarightest for his inability to donate, seemed directed at me.

Greg, I understand you are an extraodinarily busy man, and prolific author, who’s  dedicated much of your life and energy helping to advance White causes;  but as you’re the Editor of CC (and moderator of the comments) it stung to see that you chose to assist someone acting like a thug, over making any reply whatsoever to either Peter or me, donors who have comments or ideas that might not be to your liking, but are actually trying to give our money to help Counter-Currents continue.

Finally, for a few strong reasons, I believe I know who “Gam” is,  the Jewish psychopath who is fixated on threatening me both online, and in real life.

Dear Kim, for what it’s worth I think you’re one of the better commenters here and I’d be sad to see you go. Although I would also “judge the book by its cover” seeing a title like that, it seems the particular song is intended to mock or parody awful rap music by trying to juxtapose the ugly words with beautiful music. (One can argue about the wisdom of that.)

I don’t know who Gam is, but I haven’t noticed any aggression from him towards you on this site (though I haven’t watched carefully). I also don’t see anywhere that Gam “dunked on Ultrarightest for his inability to donate”, assuming you’re talking about the comments on this article. I can’t say it wasn’t deleted by a moderator, but no such reply from Gam is currently visible (nor would he have had the ability to edit or delete it himself).

“Can’t we all just get along?” 😛 Well, I hope so.

I was very miserable with a bad cold.  It seems DayQuil & NyQuil have changed their formula within the last 30 years, so I showed my ID to the pharmacist to pick up some  Claritin-D, which ended up keeping me awake to 48+ straight hours.  Some meds are no joke once you’ve hit 50.

I always like the comments from Kim, Gam and AdamMil. It’s rare that I disagree with any of them. I hope they can all stay here.

It looks like Kim is over-reacting to a perceived insult. I don’t see it, but I could be wrong. In any case, let’s focus on the big issues and our common enemies. I don’t mind criticism from others about my comments. I just try to support the site with cash, comments, and upvotes. Cash is the most important by far.

Kolokol, I know you mean well.

Evidently Greg and you both believe I overreated.  I was completely fine with my decision to drop off & exit silently, after Greg made it known he saw nothing wrong with ignoring 3 paying donor$ to Counter Currents on the donation page, having issues getting CC even more money, in favor of………. fielding a music trivia request by a  snarky commenter.

I’m fairly certain that I personally know (insulting-when-he-wants-to-be) gam IRL, & that he asked Greg that question because gam knew I was feeling down & like my donations are unappreciated.

I will say this:  It did immediately clarify to me that there *are* places my donations are needed way more than here, because right now I’m not able to make $1,000 donations, & perhaps Greg feels overly burdened by such hassle/headache for mere 20. – 30. donations trickling in.

Again, Kolokol, I didn’t react at all, until my silent absence got characterized as “throwing a fit” over song lyrics, with an unceremonius “Bye!” tacked on at the end.

Greg, please feel free to chime in, if you wish.

And you guys had no idea he & I hatched this high-drama plan together as a creative way to solicit more CC donations:  You’ll need to submit those $100. e-checks to let us all know the system is up & running!!  I’m kidding.

I think we’ve beat this horse to death now.
