Today is the last day of the Counter-Currents 2024 fundraiser. Our goal this year is ambitious: $300,000. But actually the amount is modest considering our goals, namely saving our race and civilization from extinction. Thanks to our generous readers, the current total is $243,340.54 which is 81% of our goal. This means we have $56,659.46 to go, with a deadline of midnight Pacific Standard Time. I am optimistic, because we still have not heard from some of past years’ largest donors.
Because some people are sending checks by mail, it will take a few days before we know the total. If you are putting a donation in the mail, please let us know the amount so we can add it to the total. (more…)

Did you always intend on writing a No College Club sequel?
Certainly. When I envisioned The No College Club back in 2021, I had in mind a potential vehicle that could support an indefinite number of sequels—perhaps in other formats, such as comics. I’m even considering illustrated adventures for young children, like kindergarteners or first or second graders. This series will be called The No College Kids and will focus on the children of the No College Club members. At the end of Critical Daze (which is May of 2027) there are four of these children: two 5-year-olds and two 3-year-olds. (more…)

In this essay I’m going to lay out the evidence for something perhaps surprising even to nationalists, but pleasantly so. We of the Dissident Right are usually loath to fight according to the rules of engagement the Left dictates for their enemies—and then disregards for themselves; we have a visceral (and quite healthy) disgust for the tactic of trying to punch while keeping your head firmly kowtowed to the ground, a la Democrats are the real racists and other such nonsense. While their films couldn’t possibly be more different, David Lynch and Robert Eggers seem to have one thing in common: making movies by, for, and about whites without being explicit white advocates themselves. From Eraserhead (1977) to Inland Empire (2006), Lynch’s movies abound with whiteness, from the casting choices to the detailed examination of life in the suburbs to not even having the occasional nod towards black “culture” or worship like you will see with many mainstream directors today. When blacks do show up in Lynch’s movies, they tend to be either irrelevant to the plot or downright antagonistic. (more…)

Several years ago, a curious incident occurred at Rennes-le-Château, the mysterious church in Southern France that partially inspired the bestsellers Holy Blood, Holy Grail and The DaVinci Code. During the 2024 presidential campaign, we could see all the Tech Bros lurking around Trump, filling his head with sweet nothings—and talk of the need for cheap foreign tech labor. During the campaign and shortly after the election, Trump mentioned increasing legal immigration while deporting illegals, suggesting such tactics as stapling green cards to the diplomas of graduating foreign students and giving a pathway to citizenship for “Dreamers.” (more…)

This year, my best Christmas present was a war over legal, high-skilled immigration on X. On December 23, Laura Loomer tweeted:

He is an emeritus English professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne and was the president of the American Association of University Professors from 2006 to 2012. As much as anybody else writing about higher education today, he grasps the hair-splitting nuances of academic freedom.
