Well done!
Profound and disturbing thoughts; reinforced by graphic images of the urban herd.
Does anyone know what the cultural and political trends and controversies were in Germany when Nietzsche was writing?
Anyone looking back at all the Internet “hate” will easily be able to see what it was responding to: multicult diversity, black crime and privilege, illegal alien invasion, corrupt government up and down the line, wars for the Jews, the constant encroachments on the institutions by the social minorities, and our elites “giving away the line” every step of the way, our dispossession, and our outcast status and betrayal by “conservative” establishments, etc.
But what were the equivalents in Nietzsche’s time? Any experts in German history out there?
Obviously his genius wasn’t sprouting in a vaccum. What was he responding to? What maddened him and fertilized his mind’s power?
