The 1980s, the decade of my early manhood, was an era of transition. Seeds planted in the 1970s that would burst forth into hideous flower in the 1990s were quietly germinating. The rumor that there was more sex than before the sexual revolution of the late 1960s persisted—as it does even today among the less well-informed of the older generation—but the initial excitement had clearly died down. During my recent interview with Greg Johnson about my novel Critical Daze, the sequel to The No College Club, he asked me if I was, in effect, telling young white kids that they should not attend college. After all, in the story the four main characters form an organization which assists young whites who run afoul of cultural Marxism, often by providing them with an alternative to university training. Už tak velice nízká porodnost v Jižní Koreji se v roce 2023 dále propadla na pouhých 0,72 dítěte na ženu, což je přibližně jen třetina hodnoty nutné pro zachování velikosti populace (2,1). South Korea’s birth rate per woman, which was already low, fell even lower in 2023 to 0.72, which is roughly a mere third of the country’s replacement level of 2.1. The BBC even published an article exploring why women in South Korea are choosing not to have children. (more…)
