Enoch Powell is most famous for his “Rivers of Blood” speech on April 20, 1968, in which he warned, prophetically, of the dangers of massive non-white immigration into the United Kingdom.

Powell called for cutting off legal as well as illegal immigration and for repatriating non-white immigrants whose high birthrates would eventually lead them outnumber the native British. (more…)

Oddaný voják Impéria, příslušník establishmentu, osobitý klasický učenec a nepředvídatelný, byť poctivý student politické strategie Powell totiž rozhodně nebyl žádný pravicový radikál. The recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II is a sad occasion. It’s comforting that she lived to an advanced age, however. Moreover, she remained physically able, kept her wits about her, and the end was peaceful and not prolonged. Fate was kind to her in that regard.
