One of the topics at the recent amazing Counter-Currents conference in Rome was: How do we ask our billionaire for money? It’s a great topic, and I haven’t come across it yet in our intellectual circles, but since I already have experience writing fundraising appeals—for example, here and here—I’ll try to ask our wealthy potential sponsors for money in this article. David Zsutty on Political Organizing
70 words
David Zsutty discusses lessons learned from Identity Evropa: how “people first is mission first,” centralized vision and decentralized execution, and networking. Despite Identity Evropa being crushed as a formal organization due to mass doxing, many of it’s members continued the fight in both dissident and mainstream politics which contributed to RINOS complaining that most of their young staffers now share our ideas.

Since 2011, Counter-Currents has organized private, invitation-only weekend retreats for our writers, donors, and friends. While these are also educational opportunities, the main purpose of these retreats is to foster real-world fellowship and collaborations. We deliberately choose destinations that are important to our civilizational heritage, such as the current de-facto ethnostate of Slovenia, and, most recently, Rome.
This year, one of the panel discussions was “An Elevator Pitch to a Billionaire.” Why? Because the aims of what we set out to accomplish are worth it. (more…)

I was at the recent Counter-Currents event in Rome. It was an outstanding experience, very thought-provoking in many ways. When you come from a place where the first settlers arrived only 400 years ago, and 80% of the buildings where you live are less than 50 years old, and then you spend time in a 2,700-year-old city, you tend to start seeing things in a different light.
