Bizarre indeed (and there’s also centrists among them). Examples that come to mind are Michael Tracey and Matt Forney.
They blame the underage trailer trash girls who were sexually used to exonerate an insanely well-connected billionaire pervert. You have to be crassly out of your mind to invert the power balance like this. It’s like anti-conspiracy schizophrenia.

Having been based at several Army posts during my military career I thought I knew what the word based means, but had to look up the new meaning:
Urban Dictionary refers to “based” as “a word used when you agree with something; or when you want to recognize someone for being themselves [sic], i.e. courageous and unique or not caring what others think.” In addition, “on TikTok and Twitter (X), ‘based’ is shorthand for truthful, funny, or severe commentary. It’s part of the fast-moving slang that rewards wit and confidence.”
So, MSM and social media think Fuentes is truthful, courageous, confident, and witty. I see him for what he actually is: an opportunistic and shallow, grandstanding POS, thanks.
It’s somewhat forgotten lore at this point Greg but Nick Fuentes did court literal, unironic pedophiles into his groyper movement early on (Kiwifarms still has a thread up about it all). They’re still pretty active as his attack dogs that he can order to harass people he doesn’t like. He did it most recently with Piers Morgan where he gave a “greenlight” for them to harass Pier’s family.
He defends Epstein because Nick Fuentes sees himself in Epstein. Nick Fuentes doesn’t care about pedophiles but likes that they’re socially ostracized, meaning that if he courts them they’ll worship the ground he walks on and do whatever he says. Epstein didn’t care for pedophilia but cared that it gave him a blackmail advantage over others.
There’s nothing Nietzschean about Epstein, the emails revealed he was a schmoozing halfwit who was just the front of the operation. He was operating within a framework set by others and wasn’t really carving out his own sphere. Jewish racial supremacy, blackmail and hypocritical double standards are the common social norms and values in those circles, Epstein made no new values and just mimicked those of others. He was just a likeable doofus that Maxwell and Israeli intelligence could put forward to coax potential blackmail victims into relaxing.

The Manosphere guys were an egoistical male reaction to Feminist excesses. Back in 2010, such pushback was more needed than today, where many Manosphere ideas and concepts are part of Zoomer culture (“Sigma”, “mogged”) and modern Feminism is past its prime (in short, people are increasingly based and the Manosphere helped create this outcome).

Half of the Manosphere’s message was a less highbrow version of what Mr Devlin writes about – communicating basic truth about female nature and the relations between the sexes. Regardless how off-putting the other aspects of the Manosphere were, it did play an important role in piercing the Leftist matrix of lies that had gone largely unchallenged until then.
Note also that Vox Day’s Alpha Game was also part of the Manosphere and Vox, for all his faults, is an intelligent Christian with a moral mindset.
I listened to Mike Tracey’s take just because I like to hear contrarian positions, you know, to make sure I’m not married to my premises, and what struck me is that he allowed no culpability to epstein. It seemed like he was passionately defending him on the minutest points, the girls were all of age, they are making tons of money now, etc. Well, if Epstein and Ghislaine did nothing wrong, why were they in prison? Are we to believe the Feds targeted innocent people because—what—they are antisemitic? Why was Epstein charged the first time? The general situation suggests there was at least some fire behind all this smoke.
I find it extremely tiresome to deal with people who are aggressively and uncompromisingly biased. They misuse the evidence as much as it can be misused and create an unnatural interpretation that puts you on the wrong track. Getting from the wrong track to the right one means extra effort that is completely unnecessary. In other words, these people are stealing your time for selfish reasons (because they don’t want you to think in a certain way about a particular story). Intellectual energy vampires, basically.
For example, in the 86 page confidential memorandum that was removed from the official DOJ website because it involves co-conspirators, we can read:
“During the massage, [redacted name] told Epstein that she was 16 because [other redacted name] had told her to lie and say she was 16, when she was in fact 15 years old.”
Elsewhere in the document we read that after another girl brought a 19 year old friend to give Epstein a “massage”, a woman working for Epstein told her “not to bring that friend again because she was too old”.
According to this memorandum, Epstein clearly communicated his preference for very young females and most of the girls in question looked underage so it’s impossible for him and his associates to not have known that what they were doing was, in fact, illegal.
This subject has spurred a great deal of conflicted thoughts in me.
There is a famous song by Bobbie Gentry from the 60s, covered perhaps more famously by Reba McEntire, called “Fancy”, about a poor 18 year old white girl who was born into poverty and raised by a single mother with no father around. The mother becomes ill, unable to care for her family, and encourages her daughter to go into “high class” prostitution to get herself out of the cycle of poverty.
So I want to address the theme of that song, and the feminist concepts that tend to evade the mostly male “right wing”, populist/nationalist world view, and even a lot of “left wing” liberals.
I believe with women there is a deep, biological instinct to use their sexuality to survive. I think everyone reading this understands it at a fundamental level. In early industrial England, there were tens of thousands of poor, homeless women in London’s East End who resorted to prostitution just to pay for a loaf of bread, some gin, and a cot to sleep in. This was still at a time when women were expected to be wives and mothers, and traditional values were the norm. East London at the time was a cold, unforgiving, multicultural hell. It is where the forgotten went to live just to survive. Traditional values weren’t enough to save these women from their own vices.
Today, that level of poverty doesn’t really exist anymore in the West. But the same instincts persist. In a world of plenty where wealthy lifestyles seem a little more attainable and when we see attractive female “influencers” on social media living like royalty, it isn’t shocking that some young women might see “high class” prostitution as a viable means of not having to be a cashier at Burger King to make a living.
None of this is to say that Epstein and all the pedophiles who associated with him aren’t filth who deserve to be in prison. They certainly deserve that. I just don’t think there is a clear “victim/abuser” situation here. I mean, the abuser is certainly evident, but I don’t always think the females are victims in a clear cut way. These are mutual arrangements with BOTH parties having immoral and self serving motivations. (Think of the “why can’t both be true” meme)
From what I understand, none of these women were abducted and sold to Epstein as sex slaves. While young, immature, and poorly equipped to make good decisions, from what I understand, they were drawn to the wealth and privilege and the status of the men they were prostituting themselves with and did it willingly.
Is that OK? Is it justified? Hell no.. we should be better than that as a society. The problem is that too few people are satisfied with even a normal, middle class life nowadays. Our values are so askew that marriage/family and normal “white picket fence” dreams are a thing of the past. Why settle for that boring life when you can live on a yacht and drink champagne every day? That’s how a lot of people think, and a troubling number of women are ok with debasing themselves just so that they don’t have to get “stuck” in that boring 50s housewife life. (Or worse, have to work a 40 hour a week job as a single mother just to feed kids with no dad around).
All of this is to say, I’m not defending Fuentes or any of his ilk, because they are really over-the-top with the misogynistic takes. Epstein is indefensible. Trash. Our society is culpable for the poor choices that young women make. Better alternatives should be encouraged. Family life should be glorified more than debauchery and excess. Materialism should not be the primary motivation that drives people.

You’re right. However, in the 86 page memorandum I mentioned earlier, there are several accounts of girls saying that they were forced and/or raped. Difference between consenting to give a billionaire a massage and then being compelled into giving him a “massage” (and then more). Given the imbalance of power, the age of the girls and the material dependence – and Epstein not being the kind of person to shy away from threats (!) when he felt it was needed (as his behavior in other contexts shows) – it’s not exactly accurate to say that everything was done “willingly”. Three further points:
— given that some victims were certainly bought of/threatened into silence (and documents filtered out by the FBI and/or DOJ), it’s likely that we haven’t even seen the worst
— these things happened in the early 2000s i.e. long before “MeToo”, before there were female online influencers etc. The mindset of the 2020s was not present. We have to judge what happened based on what we know about society in the early 2000s
— there are other statements in other documents (in the newly-released files) that implicate both Epstein and Trump (!) in what were clearly violent rapes. I’m not sure whether that testimony is valid, but my impression is that it would make sense if Epstein resp. Trump had snorted coke before i.e. a “civil” Epstein/Trump treating the girls in one way VS an Epstein/Trump on drugs (and/or having a bad day) acting in a monstrous manner. The point is that “normal” Epsteining is already a highly immoral activity, which implies that worse things likely happened from time to time (and much worse happened at least a few times). Everyone’s daily behavior is on a bell curve, and Epstein’s was centered 2-3 standard deviations above the mean in scumbaggery.

It seems simple. Working for and investing in the best interests, the greater good of our race instead of collecting personal material wealth and expensive toys as most Whites do today. Greed, selfishness, ignorance, denial, individualism, and cowardice all factor in.

The way I see it, if a woman is 21 or over and wants to be an Onlyfans cam girl, or a Dubai porta-potty, that’s on her. On the other hand, the Epstein victims were underage. That’s not just ordinary degeneracy; it’s exploitation of a very serious kind.

Michael Tracey’s talking points smearing the girls as willing participants are taken from Palm Beach County State prosecutor Barry Krischer, Jew, who said the same thing when he sabotaged the Florida criminal case against Epstein in 2005-2006.

— it should be easy for a state prosecutor to intimidate underage girls from broken homes in court, weaken their testimony and make them contradict themselves.
— a local partial cover-up/biased investigation makes sense – and someone like Epstein would not engage in such activity (at least not that recklessly!) if he wasn’t on “home turf” i.e. expected local authorities to be at least favorably inclined towards him
— about Palm Beach Country (wiki): “According to a 2011 survey of American Judaism, Palm Beach County had the most Jews of any Florida county both in absolute numbers (205,850) and as a percentage of the overall population (15.8%)”.

Recarey, the lead investigator on the case, testified in detail at the proceeding about how Epstein and his assistants would recruit girls from local high schools, telling them initially that they were being hired to give him massages. While they were instructed to lie about their ages, many of them told Epstein their real ages and spoke to them about high school. Recarey, who passed away in 2018, told the Herald in an interview prior to his death that he was frustrated by the state attorney’s handling of the case, claiming that Krischer and Belohlavek went to great lengths to discredit the girls — and failed to present to the jury the corroborating evidence that backed up the girls’ stories, including phone records.”

So in other words, the attempted (and partially successful) cover-up of the case is being used by committed Epstein apologists as the basis for their counter-narrative.
