Counter-Currents Matching Funds Appeal
Daily Update & Amazon Affiliate Program

Greg Johnson

503 words

Every day until the end of October, we will be publishing a fundraising campaign update and renewed appeal. I will be writing most of them. But some of our regular writers will occasionally take over to keep things fresh.

Since our last update, we have received $550 in donations. Thank you for your support.

If we keep going at this rate, we will make our goal of $25,000 well before the end of the month. So time to jump on the bandwagon: click HERE to make a donation.

Remember: Counter-Currents has found a “mysterious benefactor” who will match donations made between now and Halloween up to $6,000, so today’s donations will be increased to $1,100.

Just to be clear, our benefactor will match donations that are actually made before the end of the month. We cannot ask him to match pledges of monthly support, which can go on indefinitely — or be cut off after a couple of months. But if you sign up for a monthly payment program, your first month’s payment will be matched. (You can sign up at our donate page: https://counter-currents.com/donate/)

Another Way to Help

Wouldn’t it be great if you could choose where your sales taxes go? Well, Amazon.com’s Affiliate Program allows you to earmark 7% of your Amazon purchases to Counter-Currents at no additional cost to you. That is about the average sales tax that Americans pay.

That’s why we are so grateful to all of you who have been using Counter-Currents affiliate links to make your purchases at Amazon.com. These links are found throughout our articles, and also at the upper right hand side of every Counter-Currents page.

But only a small percentage of our readers are actually using these links.  If everyone reading this were to take part in this program, our support would grow considerably.

If you have Amazon.com bookmarked on your computer, click the following link and then replace your bookmark with the page that appears. This will allow you to go directly to Amazon.com without even visiting Counter-Currents first, but we will receive the same commission:

http://www.amazon.com/b?_encoding=UTF8&site-redirect=&node=53&tag=thesavdevarc-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

Note: The affiliate link gives Counter-Currents a commission on anything you buy on Amazon.com, on any page, so long as you enter Amazon through this link (or any other Amazon link at our website).

This link takes you to the Non-Fiction Books page. For some reason, Amazon.com will not allow us to construct a link to their home page.

Also, we cannot build links to Amazon.com stores outside the US.

If there is a particular Amazon.com page to which you usually go first, email me and let me know, and I will happily construct a custom affiliate link for you. It is that important that we make it easy for you to participate.

Also note: If you previously bookmarked our link, please note that at the end of June, we had to change our Amazon.com link. Please update it, as the old bookmark no longer works.

Thank you again for your loyal readership and support.

Does the Amazon Affiliate Program work for things bought on Amazon.co.uk as well? That way my monthly donation/support to Kurtagic’s Miguel Serrano project will still help Counter-Currents. I could have just emailed you, but I thought this might be helpful to some of our UK comrades.

I am afraid that it does not work with non-US Amazon stores.
