Endgames’ vitriol against eugenics is not entirely homegrown of course. To give but one pertinent example, one of the three main Darwin biographies begins with the sentence “Some people called him an evil genius.” [1]. As we saw at the end of the previous installment, Alex Jones starts his manifesto against what he perceives as a plan for state-enforced “Eugenics” with Plato. While there is some justification for this, given that Plato’s Republic did present a model society (after which later plans of that sort were modeled) and also included the likely earliest mention of eugenic breeding in the Western canon [1], it is also undeniable that Jones is attempting to derive the origins of evil from the father of Western philosophy.
